“Lots of people say, “well get somebody to help”, well I can’t get somebody else to write the review for me, it’s an opinionated thing”

“There seems to be a misconception that I don’t do anything, that I have no envolvement, that they do all the work…That it’s not true!”

“So, if I’m doing the review, obviously, I have to see the movie and write the script. It’s ALL ME.”

    Rolfe, James.

Some of this video is funny in hindsight given the recent plagiarism controversy lol. No disrespect intended though, i am enjoying being introduced to new movies

As a Southeast Asian guy, this is true. Back in the ’90s, ripping/parodying movies was a thing. My country also had a fair share of parody/rip-off movies. 😁

It’s so great to see the Monster Madness tradition again. These short daily videos really help set the mood for October. Thanks James, and team, for summarizing another movie I’m happy to know about, but honestly doubt I’ll ever want to sit through myself.

These episodes are great, but I don’t understand why you couldn’t post these on YouTube; there’s been no “over the top” gore so far (IMO), that would prevent you from doing so.

Sorry to say but this was an absolute wrong choice of movie.
If you wanted to really watch the best Indian horror, you should have selected “TUMBBAD”.
It has an old village setting with lots of rain (95%times it rains in the movie).
    “MAHAKAAL” is simply a trash.

Anyone able to identify the music played at 1:25 into the movie review?? In the actual film it’s a sped-up version of Thriller; in the review, I presume it was switched for copyright? Thanks in advance & great review as always, James!

Well, that was… idk what to say, I am laughing out loud. Coming from India and knowing the about the film industries(Kollywood, Bollywood & Tollywood) it is pretty common for directors to rip off movies from Hollywood. Even some big time directors do it and make it the way people likes to watch (throwing romance and some musicals) but I did not expect a scene to scene rip off like this😂🤣

I’m curious if New Lime Cinema of Wes Craven ever cared for this rip offs or they just cherished how inspiring Nightmare on Elm Street is. I gotta say, some sets are looking pretty scary!!
