On October 2021, Rex Viper met in-person as a full band for the first time ever at Surreal Sound Studios in Philadelphia to rehearse for our first show. This footage was taken from that very first interaction between us which makes it extra special. The audio is from the final studio recording. So this video represents our whole musical journey, from the inception all the way to the finished product.

The song is The Touch by the great Stan Bush from The Transformers 1986 soundtrack. It’s a song about hope, and standing up against impossible odds. It perfectly captures the optimism we felt, as a new band rising from the ashes of the 2020 pandemic. The Rex Viper version is our own custom medley with the Double Dragon theme and Duck Tales NES moon stage.
