Nice to see Monster Madness back on brand new site. Also I recommend two horror movies for James. I think you would like them. Viy from 1967 its russian horror movie about priest watching over a corpse in church for 3 nights. The other one is Luz from 2018 its german movie about taxi driver that is haunted by demon the demon is her exboyfriend or something and he can change bodies. It is indie surreal movie with small cast but the acting and the visuals are very good.

When I was studying film at college I wrote about 28 Days Later in comparison to others and I was able to use a camera but i accidentally taped over someone else’s work.

This just warms my soul. MM is back. Great first episode. I went out and bought a used Canon XL1 because it was used for 28 days later. It was my first camera. I used it for a feature film that I shot and released back in 2015.

A lot of people are now commenting that they are not watching MM this year because it’s not entirely from your authorship. I say screw them. You wouldn’t release any content whose opinion you do not also share with your writers.

I have a very vivid memory of it as I saw it all by myself when it was first released at a local drive in and it was one of the first times out of my house after my wife had passed away. I’ve seen this movie once. The impression I took away from it at the time was that the picture looked like crap. It was a modern movie but looked like it was made decades prior. I didn’t know it was due to being digital video.
For whatever reason, that rubbed me the wrong way and I didn’t get in to it. May also be that it was British and I’m not. I watched the sequel as well but remember very little of it. I think t was all military something or other? I recall it being so different from the first that it rubbed me the wrong way. I’ll have to go back and give these another viewing.
