It’s interesting (although almost certainly coincidental) that “muoi” is the imperative form of “die” in Italian (as in: “Hey, you: die!”). 🙂

Great review, I had no idea Vietnam was so recent in making films

There’s also “Ghost In School” (“Bóng ma học đường”, 2011, directed by Le Bao Trung), which is the first 3D movie in Vietnam. I just watched the trailer, and it looks both goofy and funny, for an horror film.

Wait, you’ve seen Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction? That would be perfect for a Monster Madness video! 😮

I like this cultural trip that Cinemassacre takes us on, and although there are still 6 reviews to come, I dont have high hopes that Hungary will be among them. But I definitely recommend to check us out, we have at least 5 horror films or horror-like films! 😀 Worth to check out:

Comrade Drakulics (2019) – its about a communist vampire! horror-comedy
Gingerclown (2013) – Tim Curry and other famous actors voice some characters
White God (2014) – its a take on the zombie trope – but with dogs!
Taxidermia (2006) – this is a fucked up artsy movie, but there are some horrifying horror elements in there
Post Mortem (2020) – about a photographer who takes photos of the dead

I would give you a big thumbs up if any of these appeared in the remaining 6 reviews! 😀

I have written the sequel to this film ‘Muoi The Curse Returns’ which is just about to start shooting in Vietnam.
