Happy Halloween!! The Nerd enters Lucasfilm Games’ cult classic point-and-click adventure, published on NES by Jaleco in 1990. A haunted house with a mad scientist, tentacles, killer plants, and a mysterious meteor sounds right up his alley, until he’s stuck dragging a cursor with the D-pad, guessing commands, pixel hunting in the dark, nuking the house, and blowing up a hamster in the microwave. Nintendo Power said even tuna heads would be hooked. We’ll see about that.
