After the success of Jaws in 1975, many other films tried to cash in, long before the sharksploitation genre really went into overdrive in the 2000s. December 8, 2024 at 8:28 pmFun fact, that Jaws arcade game is unlicensed! Atari made ‘shark JAWS’ (you can see the tiny ‘shark’ on the cabinet logo) as a quick tie in without worrying about copyright suits. A very Roger Corman move for the early games industry.
