I love how unsettling Silent Hill 2’s Promise (Reprise) can make everything.

October 19, 2021 at 1:57 amThis is my number 1 recommendation to someone looking to just get lost in a flick that doesn’t care about your feelings and hits you with full force..Don’t be swayed by others with similar titles..this thing is a beast!

October 19, 2021 at 7:44 amThis is one of the best horrors I’ve seen in awhile that’s actually scary. The irony is that I wish you didn’t say too much about it, yet if you didn’t say something, many people wouldn’t know that they should probably check it out. I believe a sequel is in the works.

October 19, 2021 at 7:46 amHey, violence angainst children is a line you should not cross without a trigger warning. I know I should be aware that monster madness is about horror and gore but you are a father yourself. This bus-scene is really haunting me now.

October 19, 2021 at 4:34 pmI’m from Argentina but had no idea about this movie, so thanks for showcasing it. Tbh if any argentine movie was going to make it here I would have expected one of the “Plaga Zombie” movies, think the first Evil Dead but lower budget. Or the bizarre af “Sudor Frio”. I sure was ‘t expecting something that took itself seriously, let alone be able to live up to it.

October 20, 2021 at 5:01 amThis raises an interesting question: After all of this time, why hasn’t James covered the Silent Hill series?

October 20, 2021 at 4:20 pmI don’t mind foreign films but a lot of times the dub track is terrible, and I have a hard time reading the subtitles and paying attention to whats going on

October 20, 2021 at 10:40 pmI’m from Argentina, so it’s really cool to listen to James talk about this! I would have love if you talked a little more about Argentina’s cinema history like you sometimes do about other countries.
Random question: sometimes I can’t change the video quality. Is that some kind of error or is it intentional?
Keep up the good work, James!

October 21, 2021 at 12:21 amWhat clip is that movie from of the boy screaming to a monster man who’s jaw is stretching when James saids “while western movies are screaming their heads off” in the time 2:50 minutes?

October 22, 2021 at 2:30 amYou are knocking it out of the park this year. Love the “around the world” theme. Great opportunity to show us some recommendations we might never have heard about.

October 22, 2021 at 4:07 pmTaylor the clip you are talking about comes from Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. Imagine if Freddy Kruger no longer was a movie character but became a real monster.

November 2, 2021 at 12:06 pmSeems like a pretty cool movie. Of course there’s going to be a kid with a fútbol balloon on a latin american movie. I love how grlunded the movie is aside from those strange levitations
