Dr Lao is the only one I haven’t seen or heard of. Western spaghettis were the best. I know I’m alone on this, but I never liked Jaws. And, no wonder writers are underrated– Hitchcock only produced and directed, he never wrote anything, it’s annoying how this is never mentioned. Terminator 2 is truly outstanding, but recently I saw a director’s cut, full of deleted scenes, boy.. were some of those scenes horribly bad!

IF you made a Top100 would Clerks make the cut?

I love the nostalgia picks as your favorite films, a lot these movies are personal favorites of mine as well. But as a filmmaker and cinephile, how on earth do you not have one Scorsese, Fellini, or Kubrick film. In addition, no appreciation for Brando? On the Waterfront is one of the most emotionally devastating and groundbreaking films for realism.

I stand corrected, only one Kubrick film and arguably his worst (Full Metal Jacket).

I’d have thought that out of the new millennium James would have Inception on the list given Board James. 😉
