Meh, James has talked about most of these before. He’s pulling a George Lucas with all these remakes and re-edits for Youtube. Lame that he won’t use clips anymore

I’m pretty sure that if he uses clips on his public videos, he will get a copyright strike

All his older videos still have clips and they’re on YouTube

Never been a fan of top-x either. One moment Invasion of the bodysnatchers(1978) is my favorite ever, then JC’s The Thing, etc… Then I rewatch Bodysnatcher and it’s my favorite again. The way we feel about a movie is so relative and moody, that’s why I think critics are bs.

Well I mean, it’s fun to listen to someone give their opinion on movies, but that the whole world of movies is based on a rating number, sucks. I didn’t mean that I don’t like James opinions on stuff.

Interesting choices. I’ve always had difficulty every time I’ve tried to compile a “my favorite movies” list. I have at least 50 movies in my Top Ten list.

Thanks for sharing your updated list! Remember this everyone: The best movie ever is not as great as your favorite one.

You talk about how the audio and visual of Transformers stood out to you. It’d be nice to be able to hear and see what you talk about like with your older reviews. There should be some sort of compromise with your videos between having them on YouTube and hosting here.

It’s kinda nice to have an update on these. I just wish you could use clips on YouTube without the copyright psychos taking the video down.

What really surprised me seven years ago with your Top 30 list was that a lot of the movies weren’t the kind you normally gush over about, like Cuckoo’s Nest and Dr Lao for example. It actually revealed something new about you. It developed your character, so to speak. Now with this expanded list it’s pretty much like including the one’s everyone’s expecting you to include – the one’s you’ve talked about a million times before. Now, unless you’ve really cleaned the table here on your top 25, I’m counting you have maybe five new ones so… why not just watch the old video? With clips and all? From the way you spoke about Rambo and Scarface it hardly seems like you have anything new to say about them either.

Hate to say this as a long-time viewer but feels like flying on autopilot.

I’d assume its for financial reasons. I mean they have affiliate links posted for all the movies. They’ve never done that before

Hey James, great list of movies so far! Hearing you bring them up makes me want to watch them all again. Who did the animation of the film projector in the transitions? It looks really professional.

I’m disappointed off your top 50…to much based on child memory…

this list disappointed me. Not because its a bad list, but because i already saw every movie on the list.
