Always easy to remove for me–snip them in half, and pull out each end. I do agree they should probably just tape them on.

I can usuallly rip these things in half. Sometimes, I’m able to get them out in one piece by folding the small end one way and edging it through the hole it makes in the fabric, but that takes precision. I agree that they’re stupid, especially since it’s easy to lose them. One other problem I have is not noticing they’re there if I rip the tags off but forget to get rid of all the tabs. I could wear a piece of clothing a few times before noticing them.

After watching Who’s Your Daddy, I’m convinced infants are purposely trying to kill themselves.

    Bite it you scum!

Well, it was a good idea at a time to keep people from just pulling them off at the shop, or that they stay if you ever want to return the clothes. You should really develop my “third” hand. Grabbing BOTH ends in one hand while cutting.

“But they stuck it in the very dead center of the jacket!”

Oh, well, now that’s just bad designing… SUE EM! That’s what America is for! XD

Since you didn’t mention it, I guess you’ve been fortunate enough to avoid clothes where one end of the plastic is inside the collar. Very tricky to work those out and not rip or stretch the fabric. The alternative would be forever leaving a little hard spot in the collar, which I can’t accept.

A sticker or something that clips on could be easily removed by dishonest customers and replaced with another tag that has a smaller price.

It’s funny that you say this is bullshit. I think they did used to tape tags on clothes and it would ruin clothes as you peel them off also they could stick on you when you rub by also could change tags with something else that way. When these came out someone was like omg you’re a genius cause they stay on for a longer time and can’t just be able to take off easy and they don’t damage the clothes. I am pretty sure if you vacume the rugs these will come right up.

You forgot to mention the ones that you cut and the other half stays in your clothing for days, causing random pinching on your skin though you can’t determine where.
