Frankenhooker has been on your “to do” list? Well played James. Well played.

I think you left a DVD fast forward menu on one of the screenshots. I wish they weren’t screenshots I would rather have video clips. However none the less this years monster madness has been a blast so far!

Well, they are screenshots because of copyright.

It’s fair use. And it wasn’t a problem the last 9 years.
October 7, 2016 at 10:19 am
Yeah, WTF — Where’s The Fair use?
October 8, 2016 at 3:51 am
Bullshit, he’s been playing video clips for the last 9 years.

Great review as always.

I gotta see this one.
Thanks for showing me.
October 7, 2016 at 9:30 am
I’ve seen it, of course, but I don’t think I’ve really appreciated it up until now.
October 7, 2016 at 11:23 am
Too sexy for YouTube I guess!
October 7, 2016 at 11:29 am
Boy did I laugh out loud when I saw those giant crack bags while James was explaining it all…

Whoa, I was kinda expecting some Troma quality TBH. Great review and recommendation!
Speaking of Bill Murray and a little off-topic, ever played Dragon Quest VII, the 3DS version? Well there is a town in that game that’s stuck in a time loop, repeating the same day over and over without them knowing. This place, called “El Ciclo” in english, is named “Villa Marmota” in spanish; which means “Groundhog Village”. I think that’s a pretty nice tribute.

I’m definitely going to check it out!

A little trivia game for you: behind james there is a poster representing the face of a witch, which movie is from?
Ok, honestly, I’m only curious. xD
October 8, 2016 at 3:29 am
It’s a poster ad for the VHS release of Ghostbusters with a witch decoration taped over it for Halloween. 😀

I’ve been waiting cinemassacre since it’s 3rd anniversary and after all these years I have to thank you so fucking much James (and Mike of course).
For showing me all these great films, or talking about films none of my friends knew or wanted to watch.
I’m sad to see this be the last year for cinemassacre’s monster madness but I understand you’re very busy.
Thanks for these last reviews, I’ll be watching and re-watching; checking out anything I haven’t seen.

Did he do Frankinweenie already? That seemed like it would of been a good movie. I think he should do next week the movie The Bride 1985 which had Sting in it. That movie I always thought stood out over others.

I watched this movie a few years ago. I had watched all of the basket case sequels and wanted to see everything else this director has done. That lead me of course to brain damage and this film. Awesome flick! Highly recommend and I am glad you included this year!

Do you plan on just uploading every new video to YouTube and embedding it here or is this just for Monster Madness?
October 8, 2016 at 7:37 pm
Frankenhooker fucking owns.
October 10, 2016 at 7:17 pm
Surprised by the fact I really enjoyed this. The scene her wandering lost after she awakes makes her seem a little goofy but also innocent and endearing somehow.

clips would be good but screenshot is ok since it’s the last monster madness you are excuse James and Mike…my Halloween tradition is slowly fading away….

I think I remember that movie … we rent it like 10 years ago… it’s so stupid that it’s good…
