I like the fact you have it perfectly timed out.

A drunk Dracula chasing after you and trying not to let you in his wine cellar! Sounds like a fun game!

  • October 3, 2016 at 1:20 am

James plays a horror game and is just admiring the architecture.

    • October 3, 2016 at 1:24 am

      Literally focus on the curtains.

Sounds like me when I played The Order. I like old architecture. Pity The Order ended up feeling a bit incomplete, but at least it has English architecture. I’m sure this game feels more complete in addition to having old architecture and great atmosphere to boot.

Great video guys. I’m still hoping for Demon’s Crest sometime this month!

  • October 3, 2016 at 2:59 am

You HAVE to play more! This is still the intro!

  • Slamraptor

    October 3, 2016 at 3:45 am

OMG guys the monsters appear like 5 minutes from the point you stopped playing xD

You should definitely make another part for this one.

You wont get the right experience playing this sort game sitting with a buddy and talking through it. You need to be sat alone, headphones on and lights off to appreciate it fully.

If you want a REAL sanity mechanic, play “Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem” for the GameCube.

(Horror games aren’t my thing, but I bought it as a gift for my brother one year and he was playing it several times when I wandered by, so I have a rough idea of what it’s like.)

You know what destroys the atmosphere of any game? Sitting in a bright room, talking about anything but the game.

Yes, thank you. It’s almost as bad as pewdiepie…and that guy is the absolute worst.

You guys need to immerse yourselves in this game, as well as read the manual. You aren’t getting poisoned, it’s a sanity mechanic. You have health as well as “sanity”. Your character is helpless, you can’t fight monsters, you can only run, hide, barricade doors with objects, throw objects in the way or at monsters to stun or slow them down.

This game is very unnerving and creepy if you give it a chance and immerse yourselves in it.

So anyhow… I know you guys probably already recorded these for this month already. But just in case you haven’t, and if it wouldn’t be too much trouble, could you guys maybe play the HD remake of Resident Evil? Or maybe try playing ZombiU? I don’t recommend the Xbone or PS4 ports, but rather the original for the WiiU because of the gamepad mechanics…though, the shovel and nail-bat are pretty fucking sweet compared to the cricket bat, and they are only in the ports. However, I still think the gamepad mechanics far outweigh any bonus weapons.

Maybe try Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth?
background in that game are very close to The Shadow over Innsmouth book.

I got this game on Steam a while back but haven’t played it yet. I hope it is good. You guys should play the game Clive Barker’s Undying. That game was a fun game even though I never beat it I went back to that game a few times from the begining and got farther each time. I was so close of beating it like 5 years ago. It was a great story and concept of a game. I loved the weapons and the powers you can use in it. It still holds up to this day even as good graphics and interesting gameplay. I will go back to it next time I get an updated PC again.

They could do smell-o-vision if they had someone in the theater had smell props to put through the AC right on a timed sceen so the theater would smell for a bit and everyone would be like hey I smell like I am in the movies. I can see it working but it would make the workers at the theater do more work. Lol image that as a job making the theater smell for Smell-o-vision. lol

  • October 3, 2016 at 4:26 pm

Reminds me of Call of Cthulhu: Dark corners of the earth.

  • October 3, 2016 at 4:36 pm

Had a good time watching you guys play this one, fun video. Gameplay looked so dark could hardly see any of the actual game play but you guys looked like you were having a good time with this game. Thanks for another James and Mike Mondays 🙂

      I’m in your boat, I would love it if they did another video. They don’t need to beat the game but I wanted them to be exposed to the different monsters, they have great designs…especially the one in the water (;

Good stuff, but I wonder what James would look like playing this game alone, lights out and headphones.

I’m surprised this hasn’t been ported to the PS4. I’d totally play it if it was as it looks kind of neat. Oh well…

Glad you guys enjoyed it, maybe consider playing a bit more to see the monsters. They’re pretty narly-looking, it’s awesome!

  • October 10, 2016 at 11:50 am

He could have the evil dead poster if he or someone he knew worked at a movie theater. I use to work at one and the employees got to take the posters when the movie was done running.

    October 11, 2016 at 10:06 pm

You guys should do some rare scary ps3 games. There are a few that are suppose to be scary. I am going to play the game Condemned 2: Bloodshot this month cause I couldn’t get through it last October.
