Woo! More Beavis and Butthead! Kinda bummed you guys didn’t choose to do the SNES one though. I found it to be way better.

Now that I’ve watched this, I just wanna say that the SNES version is WAY better than this. It’s still very hard and a nightmare most of the time, but it’s a very memorable and fun game. You guys should definitely check it out. I would love to see you guys coop that next Monday.

I usually like to wait a bit before I watch an episode to make it sorta last longer but I can’t help watching this at like 1am haha

If you want a “Good” Beavis & Butthead game track down the one for the PC, Virtual Stupidity

Yeah, I mentioned this on the other video too. Do U was also pretty good, although it was easy. I don’t think they’re a fan of the point-&-clickers, though.

I can see that when Mike & Co did a thing of the recent Telltale game

      Loogies are cool, heheheheh!

you need to download a free game called terrordrome. It is a Horror Tournament fighter game. It has the well known onesm and some that only real horror fans will know. It will be perfect for Halloween since it falls on a Monday this year.

I actually liked this game a lot. The combination to the Burger World door is written in a bathroom stall in the restroom of the yogurt shop that’s located in the mall. I also don’t recall having to eat the poisoned burger. I was able to figure everything out about this game without having to read a cheater’s guide.

Just because you’re bad at a game or don’t know how to play it doesn’t make it a bad game. But yeah, the hospital chase is definitely the hardest part of the game.

It want let you into the hospital if you don’t eat the burger.

Even with the cheater’s guide, you guys couldn’t beat it? 🙁
I think “corr” is short for correction, not correct.
This was an interesting insight into your process. It seems like the AVGN episode was an impromptu video based on this session, since you point out a lot of the same things.
I don’t think the game sucks. It’s different. It’s difficult. But it seems playable, as long as you have to patience to keep entering that damn password.
Maybe it traps you in the hospital because there’s another piece of the ticket there? It is another TV stage, after all.
Kind of disappointed that after two videos, we couldn’t get any closure on this game. I might go watch a playthrough on YouTube now.

Guys I love ya to death but it’s driving me nuts that you guys ate a green dumpster burger, with a cutscene with Beavis saying “we’re sick!” and then Beavis audibly reminding you that “we’re sick!” and you can’t figure out why your health is going down?

This is like the Indiana Jones episode with the poisonous snake all over again.

Still though since I had my older brother and his friends around when I played this I had lots of the controls and quirks explained to me. Seeing outsiders with no prior experience I can completely understand the controls being a bit off. Had I not had them around I’d have been annoyed just as much as you guys are.

I was going to say the same thing. Also, nice screen name.

How much more of a cue do you need when you’re poisoned? The only last step would be “HEY. YOU’RE HEALTH IS GOING LOW BECAUSE YOU ATE THAT GREEN BURGER.”

      They’d still probably wonder why…

        Hah same!

      • August 23, 2016 at 5:06 am

Yeah xD… That damn snake poison episode. But I think they do it on purpose sometimes. Unless they’re both getting grandpapier,

  • August 22, 2016 at 2:31 pm

Loved the AVGN video too. I have to defend this one, although it may be purely nostalgia clouding my memory, but I remember having fun playing this. Part of the fun was talking to other kids at school about it because of the cryptic parts of it.

Hey guys. I’ve been watching you for years and just registered. This was actually one of my favorite Genesis games as a kid. I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but this game must be played on a turbo controller. It’s hopeless other wise. Try couch fishing with a regular controller. IMPOSSIBLE! Also, the spitball will rapid fire with a turbo controller. If I remember correctly you will also jump the sewers better. Give it another shot. I’m surprised that wasn’t on page 1 of the cheaters guide!

P.s. Go back and eat the burger after you get the ticket from the rat fries.

Keep up the great work, and thanks for the nostalgic memories every week.

  • August 22, 2016 at 5:25 pm

Surprised you guys had such trouble figuring out the burger was killing you.

  • August 22, 2016 at 8:06 pm

    You dudes are cool, uhhuhuhuhuh!

  • August 22, 2016 at 9:27 pm

I really hope anyone watching this/AVGN video gives this game an actual chance. This game is definitely hard and can get really annoying, but its a really great game if you know what you’re doing. The majority of the problems they had were just simply not understanding how the game works. Give it a try.

      August 23, 2016 at 3:06 am

Oh totally. I still feel this is one of my favorite Genesis games.

      • August 25, 2016 at 1:08 am

absolutely, this game is a classic. it’s a shame they tarnished its legacy by immortalizing it in the avgn series.

Mike is always so lively and enthusiastic in these vids, it’s hilarious in this one because he seems to not give a crap lol. Great vid guys. 🙂

Man that game looks bad. No wonder you did an avgn episode on it. I hate when games are just too unforgiving. Don’t get me wrong. I want a game to be hard and challenging, but nobody likes to feel like its hopeless. Some games are a little to stingy with the health. Sad too. Some games would actually have been good if there were just a little bit more Heath in the game. That’s just the way it was though. Old school games were freaking brutal and unforgiving. But always fun too. I liked thw video very much. Thanks James and mike.

Once again, the video sucked, and Mike’s favorite movie is Brokeback Mountain.

James & Mike since october is around the corner i have i question about the game called The House of the Dead 2 on Sega Dreamcast. Have you guys played this one? is it worth to be on the next AVGN halloween episode? Greetings from Serbia.

    Great video james.mike sucks balls

  • August 23, 2016 at 5:38 pm

Yup don’t eat the burger dont know why guide tells you to dont do it till you goto the hospital

  • August 23, 2016 at 7:22 pm

You don’t tap the button to shoot, you hold it down. Especially with the SMG. That thing is really good. Nothing will be able to hit you.

  • August 23, 2016 at 7:24 pm

Also you CAN kill the dude in the hospital.

  • August 24, 2016 at 5:27 am

Mike actually looks like Butthead. He could play him in a live action movie.

    Hur hurhurhur

  • August 24, 2016 at 11:22 am

Do U, Virtual Stupidity and Little Thingies were all decent on PC. I personally love tbe genesis cart! I don’t recall having that much trouble with it though. The password system is about as convoluted as Faxanadu though. Ugh.

    August 24, 2016 at 12:16 pm

Last day ive seen long play on YT, its not so hard if you do everything right 🙂 and correct order.

  • August 25, 2016 at 12:56 am

You guys are dumb as shit… you keep dying because you ate a the burger.. The burger makes you sick — go the the hospital.. It kills me that you two assholes decide to nitpick and putdown games you’re too stupid to figure out yourselves. I had this game as a kid and could easily grasp and understand what to do. It’s a shame too, because people take your word as something that has value. Stop ruining good games reputation based on your stupidity.

    • August 25, 2016 at 1:02 am

also you dont have to eat the goddamn burger the same time you make the rat fries… the majority of those strategy guides are labelled unofficial or unlicensed for a reason — some are filled with errors.

    • September 3, 2016 at 10:35 pm

Here here!!! I wouldn’t say dumb as shit though, just forgot how to play retro games

  • August 28, 2016 at 1:02 am

From what I remember, and I apologize if this has already been said, I believe the reason why you need to go into the sick room si because there’s an item in there that you need to get a ticket piece later in the game (I wanna say it’s the scissors/forceps/whatever the heck they are on the shelf behind the sick bed).

  • retronostalgia

    September 1, 2016 at 2:25 pm

Good lord, I feel for you guys having to play through that.

  • September 3, 2016 at 10:32 pm

I think you guys forgot how to play games back in the early 90s. You play that shit over and over , you learn the game mechanics, then you fly through it. Besvis and Butthead on the genesis was a far superior game then the snes version. You had to actually think and use your head to solve the puzzles (ironically in dumb ways).

  • September 4, 2016 at 5:52 pm

I seriously lost it when you guys kept dying outside of the hospital. Holy crap. Whoever programmed this game must have had it out for Beavis and Butthead fans.

    September 24, 2016 at 6:30 am

i always like your vids but this one had me facepalming the whole time, you guys seriously can’t be that thick. You’re dying cos you ate the spoiled burger, also why would a ‘drop’ option in a game ‘use’ what you’re holding?

    December 5, 2017 at 6:06 pm

This game is not that bad. I rented in ’95 and got a few ticket pieces. I bought it from a rental place in ’99 and beat it. no, this game is not impossible without a turbo controller either. I beat it with a six button controller. “we shouldn’t have to read the instructions” yeah actually sometimes you have to. maybe read the instructions before you shit all it
over cuz you suck at it…cuz you didn’t read the instructions lol.
