Very promising looking game. But the grinding doesn’t sound appealing at all.

Honestly you guys should just play FTL, it’s similar to this one but with less bullshit.

How come a luck based game have less bullshit? I find FTL to be fun and addicting but the player needs a god like amount of luck if wanna reach far into that game. Before you criticize that i’m bad at the game i’ll have to say that i had a very very lucky run & chance once of reaching the last area and actually engage battle with the rebel main ship but even with my shields at max and decent weapons the boss did murder me easily thanks to the 3 missiles gun and no luck of where those missiles landed, sadly it severe damaged the shields and killed some of the crew, without shields the other of his 3 guns did the job of finishing me off quickly, as you can see, just 1 unlucky turn is enough for a instant gameover.

How about talking about games, not phone games. I realize they are a genuine thing, but alas pay to play is the reason they exist
whatever. get on with the good videos

It was great to see you talk about a game like Space Run Galaxy, but I believe you may have missed the point in design. This game intentionally takes the trading/cargo runs that are staples of many space sims and adds it to a tower defense game. The grind you’re annoyed with is intentional and is meant to simulate an economy and progression of your abilities.

I completely understand that being a fan of tower defense games you have a set of ideals you’re looking for in a game of that style, but for a genre to grow it requires people to think outside of that box. Grinding isn’t for everyone but at least you were able to find some fun with it!
