Ohh glad to see I’m not the only quebecois around here!

  • June 6, 2016 at 12:54 am

Hm. I guess that’s kinda cool.. Never really was a huge Pac-man fan. I know this is going to sound heretical, but games where the objective is to just get points or a high score or whatever never appealed to me as a kid or as an adult.

Did you guys abandon your hopes and dreams of playing all the doom episodes?
That would be a lot of doom I suppose!

    • cammcal

      June 6, 2016 at 2:21 am

Maybe they’re spacing them out so as to not have Doom overload. It’ll be interesting to see them play them all but if it was every week one after the other it’d get kind of repetitive.

    Why Shorten the video ??????????

Both scores added to the total, not to mention when you both eat the ghosts they compound to a higher number. So it is co-op unless you outright say to your buddy “winner gets the highest score.” Seeing as both high scores add together to the total, it’s really between yourself and who you play with as to whether it’s co-op or not.

I want to fuck Ms. Pac-Man.

    • June 6, 2016 at 6:08 am

I always thought Ms, was Mr. in drag. I’m not sure that thing can be fucked though

      • bud

        June 6, 2016 at 5:09 pm

Probably end up with a bad papercut.

      • June 7, 2016 at 4:49 am

I guess they can swallow a lot though

        June 9, 2016 at 4:52 am

Ms. Pac-Man gives good head. In fact, she’s all head!

    June 6, 2016 at 5:53 am

Of course they’re in love, did you see them finish off that maze together? It was like the spaghetti scene in Lady and the Tramp.

  • June 6, 2016 at 6:12 am

Why doesn’t Mr. Pacman have a mustache, a scar and a jockstrap? It’s so dumb sometimes the female variation to stuff.

    • ssokolow

      June 6, 2016 at 8:03 am

Because, as dumb as it is, society trains us to see “male” as the default state for a character unless otherwise clarified.

      • itscmillertime

        June 6, 2016 at 8:59 am

        His name is pac MAN

      • June 6, 2016 at 3:29 pm

It’s true it’s name was PacMAN, but @SSOKOLOW is absolutely right. That dumb thing is even in several language– If the gender is unclear, it is male. Birdo was one of the weird exception lol

        June 6, 2016 at 5:52 pm

        What about samus?

      • June 7, 2016 at 4:48 am

Well, at the very beginning, people thought it was a he. That surprise at the end lol.. Just like Mach Rider. Now that Samus is known to be female they’ve been subtly changing her suit… Bikini bottom/no more crotch, smaller waist larger hips, butt crack wedgie. But those aren’t too bad, Zero Suit Samus is horrible though.

  • June 6, 2016 at 8:26 am

The coop is also on the SNES version. I just recently discovered this as well! This is my girlfriend’s favorite game outside of Galaga so co-op could’t be better!

    June 6, 2016 at 8:35 am

Because you can always go back to Pac-Mac! YEAH!

I own this! I’m not watching the video yet but it’s fun to play with the NES advantage.

The same has to be said about the SEGA Genesis version of Ms. Pac-man also.

    June 6, 2016 at 9:28 am

You might have your own score but the total score is the sum of each player scores so it’s really a coop mode.

Philips CD-i has Ms. Pac Man with co-op too, and better graphics 😉

The sprinkle in the pile of shit.

  • June 6, 2016 at 10:59 am

I think this Tengen version is better than Namco Ms. Pac-Man, definitely going to have this pick up a copy.

I always enjoyed the Super Pac Man game the most and that one that was kind of a side scroller based on the 80’s cartoon.

    June 6, 2016 at 3:24 pm

I still remember dad coming home from work one day with a brand new Atari 5200 and Pacman that looked and played just like the arcade?
He also had bought Missle Command , Frogger , and Super Cobra
We hated the controller and wish we could slap in the 2600 controllers LOL

Didn’t see ‘Elroy Cruise’ there! he musn’t been feeling it.
The Dragons from Game of Thrones are called Inky (black) Blinky (green) and Clyde (Red) IN MY MIND

  • KingMike

    June 6, 2016 at 7:31 pm

Ms. Pac-Man is different, but the three NES versions of original Pac-Man are identical, only the copyright text was changed (all of them based on Namco’s 1984 Famicom release).

  • June 6, 2016 at 7:49 pm

In this game, score is really just for bonus lives. So different scores give each player more chances to get bonus lives, compared with one player that stops getting them.

Ummm, don’t you guys have the Pac-Man mini-arcade in the Nerd Room? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them all ona shelf. That also has the co-op mode, me and my sister played it all the time!

  • July 21, 2016 at 8:32 pm

Know what, I’m sure I played that one. But, the one I played the most was the original Atari version… 🙂
