HOLY SHIT! I used to play this game 24/7 (I’m a teenager)! I know every single frickin’ thing about it! Wow. I really geeked out didn’t I?

We used to just kill Jar Jar and a bunch of other stupid characters all the time.

  • December 28, 2015 at 1:23 pm

Oh my goodness, when you guys were arguing over what term for “possession,” I really wanted to just yell “MIND-CONTROL!!!” haha. Good episode guys; I’m really looking forward to the next!

The more hate you give, the more money George Lucas gets!

    • December 30, 2015 at 1:11 pm

Jarjar never bothered me that much actually. I didn’t like it, for sure, but meh.
I thought the opening scene in episode 1 was pretty good.

Heh, I remember this one–felt a little cringeworthy to see you guys kinda fumble with it, but that’s probably because I played it to death back in the day. 😉 And yeah, once you beat the initial Phantom Menace stage, you can play any of the rest of the episodes.

Prequel hate has been done to death. It’s no longer trendy or hip, it’s outdated. Time to move on

Also, James and Mike, just for curiousity, you should check out this edit of Episode I:

It cuts out a lot of the cringeworthy stuff, redubs Jar Jar and the Neimoidians with alien language that’s subtitled, and changes their personalities a bit, and makes it a lot brisker. It doesn’t make the film a grand masterpiece, but it does make it more watchable and enjoyable, so I say give it a gander.

I played this as a kid on the ps2. And I can still remember that I got Lego Star Wars 2 at the end of the primary school.

James crank some Motorhead today man. We lost a metal icon and legend. RIP Lemmy. “You win some, lose some. It’s all the same to me!”

I like you guys, but sometimes you sound like idiots. Yeh, it’s popular to bash the prequels, but I like them. Jar Jar had the same role as Finn in the new movie, comedic foil who occasionally does something smart.

I like TFA okay, but in the Prequels, Lucas expanded what we know of the Star Wars universe, not just made a retread of the original film. And for your nerd assignment, go to Netflix and watch the Clone Wars series. Lucas story edited those, and you can appreciate the characters a lot more after seeing them.

And maybe you should practice at other Lego games. Stacking stuff lets you find secrets. The 160 studs are for things other than just finishing levels, like collecting model kits, getting a minimum amount of studs per level, and finding red bricks that do things like coin multipliers and it will give you invincibility.

  • December 30, 2015 at 6:30 am

Wow, the hate on Episode 1…i liked the movie. It was a lot better than Ep.2

    • December 30, 2015 at 10:55 am

hated 1 and 2 so much never fully watched 3 even though everyone touts how good it is. Saw yoda fight and said that was neat, then saw the final scene “nooooooooooooooo” and said, yup Im good.

      • December 30, 2015 at 1:13 pm

Right?? Bahaha! Who says ‘nooooo’ in rl when someone you loved died? That’s like the worse cheesy thing to put in a script haha

    • December 30, 2015 at 1:15 pm

Seriously, I thought episode 3 was the worst. Still some good scenes, but blegh.

  • December 30, 2015 at 10:54 am

James were you looking for “manipulation”?

Not that you’ll see this but Im trying hard to find something other than possession to help your case, its tough one though.

    • December 30, 2015 at 6:26 pm

I think I know whqt word he means… Something soundind like juxtaposition, but I can’t remember.

      • December 30, 2015 at 6:28 pm
