i have to take this opportunity to say…9/11 was controlled demolition. its like..imagine if you won the Olympics but then nobody believed you…you would want to tell everyone all the time until they believed you about the truth.

Great idea! Love parodies of reading too much into those!

I LOVE these!!!! James actually makes some really great points and its scary how true they seem. I love symbolism. Do these with your movies, James. Does the AVGN movie have deeper meanings?
November 4, 2015 at 5:37 pm
Holy shit, I posted that before it reached number one. But I’m not talking about the clear-as-day plot of the film, but a presence of a deeper symbolism. And I do remember watching the film and thinking that it was a parable against religion.

And with religion, I know its something you’ll likely never get into (and understandably so) because most people are idiots that believe in it and you’d alienate the majority. Though, if you’re considering it, I say fuck it and go for it. But you can also just use symbolism through storytelling to get your point across as well (if there’s a message you want to put out).

I’m not some theorist nut-job in real life, but man do I enjoy these video game conspiracies you put in the videos. They’re hilarious.
And that reminds me: I still have to get around to watching the AVGN movie.

#3 isn’t really that much of a conspiracy. It would have put it at #5.
November 5, 2015 at 2:58 am
#3 isn’t really a conspiracy, since there’s a large likelihood it’s true. Also, I’m pretty sure these are the only “conspiracies” AVGN ever had.

Please let your tech guy fix the videoplayer. When you pauze the video more than a few minutes it will stop buffering the video and you’ll have to reload

AVGN’s wild, sprawling conspiracy theories is where the brilliance of the writing shines through. You, sir, are a genius!

Best ending ever: holy shit

The Nerd conspiracies are quite possibly one of my favorite parts of AVGN all these years. I don’t watch for the shit jokes, I definitely watch for these rare gems. hahah

Hi James–there apparently is a disappointing closure to the Swordquest theories from those in the know–apparently the treasures never belonged to Tramiel, and they were returned to the manufacturer after Atari’s bankruptcy, who melted them down for other things. There’s now only one therefore still intact, in one of the winner’s bank vault. The rest, it seems, will never see the light of day.
