Good shit! I wish you guys would cover the Silent Hill series sometime. I remember Mike saying in one of his videos that he really liked Silent Hill 2. You guys should totally play that shit

    • October 5, 2015 at 1:56 am

I believe it was AlphaOmega who said that.

Mike….you need to play Sweet Home for Famicom……inspired Resident Evil games

        October 5, 2015 at 6:11 pm

Mike… Please play The Masked Rider for an October James and Mike.. It’s for Sega CD and has lots of Japanese style costume monsters…. and is a bizarre game. Here is a playthrough https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO22q0s8bAM

      • October 7, 2015 at 10:10 pm

Since we’re offering requests 😉 I think the new Tomb Raider on the XBox One would make for an excellent unscripted video. It’s free on live now and although Tomb Raider doesn’t typically fall into the horror and suspense categories, the new one does have those elements… mostly suspense early on, but Lara’s death scenes can get pretty gruesome. Plenty of “Oh shit!” moments. Just be sure to crank up the sound before you start playing 🙂 Oh, and I also recommend a review for Tecmo’s Deception on PS1. Perfect for Halloween.

I like you guys doing the horror related games, but I wish you would do a survival horror game. Specifically, I wish you guys would do the Resident Evil remake. You could do the gamecube version or the HD version on PS3/PS4/360/Xbone. It’s my favorite survivor horror game of all time. 😀

Damn I remember how hard this was. I basically got stuck at the purple dudes when I was a kid.

Only 8 levels but fuck is it relentless. Classic gory horror game perfect for the best month October. At least it’s better than Friday the 13th for the NES but I actually enjoyed the Nightmare on Elm Street game on NES. Probly my favorite Laughin Jokin Numbnuts game, Hahaha.

  • Manos

    October 5, 2015 at 6:20 am

You should do a J&MM of Night Trap!!

  • October 5, 2015 at 7:16 am

Should play The Suffering (PS2, XBOX, PC) that’s a fun game to play around Halloween or any time really.

  • Deathbringer

    October 5, 2015 at 7:24 am

I think Mike gets the Sega rap from fans because they’d see him post his Game Gear reviews and videos like that while they didn’t really see as much of that from James. Just a thought as to why the fan perception is like how Mike mentioned it is.

  • October 5, 2015 at 7:50 am

Don’t want to seem out of line here but well yesterday I happened to catch that episode of James And Mike Mondays. I won’t name it. But I really hope your saving it for another time because I really enjoyed it. It was a great episode ha-ha. Especially how James told the Bat story it was pretty funny. Again apologies if I’m out of line.

Hey at-least I get to see this one!

    October 5, 2015 at 9:18 am

I’m an above average gamer and i’ve been playing this fucker since it was released but I still haven’t finished it!

  • October 5, 2015 at 9:21 am

If I would have rented this in the 90s, I would have played it for about 30 minutes and then been pissed I wasted my weekend rental on a bad game lol.

After some of the bad games you guys have played though you’re very forgiving when a game is just “hard” not bad lol.

  • October 5, 2015 at 10:03 am

    solid review

    October 5, 2015 at 10:17 am

I prefer when you guys stick the conversation to games and stuff. Not comics and The Joker. Just my preference

In regards to Doctor Who, James, you probably don’t really need to watch all 26 years of the classic series–probably better off looking up the consensus for best episodes for each Doctor and going with that. Trust me, it’ll spare you some…stuff.

Haven’t finished the video yet, but I’m pretty sure on the guys that stick their arms out you can duck under.

I remember buying this game. My mom gave me money to buy some new shoes so I went with my brother into the city to buy some. I ended up buying the cheapest pair of shoes I could find then using the rest of the money to buy splatter house 2 by convincing my brother that Jason vorhees was in the game as he was a huge fan of the Friday the 13th movies. Of course I knew it wasn’t Jason but I managed to convince my brother. Let’s just say my mom was not impressed, but the game was awesome.

  • October 5, 2015 at 12:21 pm

Dude, cut it with the ‘pussies’ and men thing.. Maybe the connotation in the Us is different, but here it’s pretty insulting.

If you guys need a copy of zombies ate my neighbors I have one for the genesis, it has blood unlike the snes version that has purple ooze. The controls are better for snes (more buttons) tho. Leave a comment and I’ll send it. Its the copy I had as a kid but I’d be glad to share it with the rest of the world.

      Yes, awesome co-op game!

    • Jamiesonofabitch

      October 5, 2015 at 1:13 pm

I’ve been wanting them to do it for years, but I know the SNES version more. I’m guessing that while the SNES does not have blood the music is probably superior. I wouldn’t mind seeing them play either version though.

      October 5, 2015 at 8:21 pm

The genisis version has awesome music. I like it better but that’s just my opinion. The lack of blood kind of takes Away from the B horror movie humor.

    Awesome guys.
    Love these October J&MM’s
I’m still hoping you’ll do Zombies Ate My Neighbors, but this is a great series too.
    Great job again.

Wow splatterhouse 2 I got as far as the level your on, Then I put in the last level codes. Splatterhouse 3 is much better game and easier. You guys should try out the 2010 Splatterhouse on ps3 great game.

  • October 5, 2015 at 3:35 pm

I had Genesis as a kid and then from there I went to PS1 and I’ve stuck with Sony ever since. I kinda regret not picking the SNES as a kid because their game library was 1000 times better than Sega’s in my opinion, especially with JRPG’s, which is my favorite genre.

  • October 5, 2015 at 4:01 pm

Yes, Splatterhouse is damn hard. I never managed to beat the game.
How about trying ‘Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti’ or even better ‘Monster Party’ both on NES?
These games are mandatory for a Halloween gaming session! Please guys!

  • October 5, 2015 at 4:45 pm

Splatterhouse seems amazingly hard. I wonder if anyone’s ever beaten it. Anyways, Can you please play Monster Party or Haunting Starring Polterguy after Splatterhouse 3?

Hey dudes, the character in these games’ name is Rick. I love this series but as you just experienced here, it’s fucking brutal.

Part 3 changed things up a bit and made it more of a traditional beat ’em up. But also you guys you check out the newest entry in the series. Splatterhouse for PS3/Xbox 360. It’s cheesy, but fun as hell and crazy violent. Has a cool heavy metal soundtrack as well. And even had all three of the original games as unlockables. Fully playable, too! Look into it, I think you guys would enjoy it!

13:45 actually, on PS2 for example, pressing the buttons hard does make a difference.
    The buttons are pressure sensitive…
Not sure if any other consoles (or newer playstations) do that though…

  • October 6, 2015 at 5:15 am

i loved this game as a kid

  • October 6, 2015 at 11:31 am

You guys should had used the drop kick, jump kick is kinda useless, the TAS video make this game looks easy!

  • October 7, 2015 at 11:27 pm

I had this for my sega megadrive, and it said Splannerhouse 2 on the boot screen

  • October 9, 2015 at 4:20 pm

Herés the real reason why Nintendo buttons order are B -> A… Japanese read up to down right to left. In japan the buttons aren’t reversed! Same goes form the Turbo Gfx-16, II is before I

North America has influenced Sega and their layout are Left to Right, same goes for Microsoft.

Finally in Japan on PlayStation O progress, while X cancel, here it’s the opposite!

    It’s cultural 😉

  • Ben_from_G-town

    October 13, 2015 at 7:57 pm

You guys are like the opposite of me. I grew up with Sega, and I’m having to make up for my deprived Nintendo-less childhood in my adult years. 😀

    Wow, that game looks rough!

  • Aaron1375

    October 15, 2015 at 6:05 pm

I made it all the way to the final boss when I was young…it really isn’t too bad, getting the bone helps. Never won it as a kid though, the last boss is brutal as fuck. I did beat him on an emulator, but that is basically cheating, but I just had to finish the game and see how it ended.

  • October 26, 2015 at 1:55 pm

I wonder if they’ll ever play Clocktower or Sweet Home. I’d like to see their opinions on those mother fuckers.

  • June 11, 2016 at 2:38 am

As old as these reviews are. From one on, to beat most bosses you need to know the slide attack. Jump hold down toward hit attack as you land for multi hit combo ;p
