I think the best time to celebrate this anniversary is Oct 21, 2015 when BTTF II takes place.

    Great Scott!
    I can’t believe it.
    Whoa! This is heavy!
    30 years of BTTF!
I wish Universal did a new BTTF ride!

My favorite film of all time 🙂
One of the few films I could watch more than once in a day if I had the time, every scene is gold.

We have to go back! TO the FUTURE

  • July 4, 2015 at 6:06 pm

    Wow… 30 years.

Back to the Future is one of those rare occasions where I really disagree with James, in this case with Back to the Future III. James calls it boring and the worst of the trilogy… Me on the other hand, I consider Back to the Future III the best in the trilogy, and my favourite movie of all time. Love BTTF 3

I agree with you whole heartedly; I also love BTTF 3, and it’s probably my favorite of the series as well.

      • July 5, 2015 at 1:36 pm

Thanks Don. I’ll admit that the Old West probably wasn’t that peaceful, but I still love the movie to bits. It has probably the best opening to any movie ever. Peaceful title credits, and then we open to a thunderstorm and Doc Brown hanging from the clock tower. It has the best music, my personal favourite being the train sequence. It has one of the most touching moments in the series, when I see my favourite character fall in love, even though she’s technically about 70 years older than him, but regardless. It has the greatest climactic build up, that also being the train sequence. I love every single thing about that movie, and I fail to see why James considers it the worst and really forgettable.

Maybe you should give the movie another go, James.

OCTOBER 26th, 2015 is the day that Marty McFly appears in the Future of Back to the Future 2. He time travels to this exact day to stop his son from being arrested. This is the official day that thousands if not millions of people (particularly us 80’s kids) will be marathoning the series. The “future” will have finally caught up to us.

Yeah too bad universal isn’t doing a 4k mastered in the way of sony’s 4k mastered blu rays. The trilogy deserves that much also with no dnr and no edge enhancement. Boo universal is all i have to say.
