cool video mike you have a lot of interesting stuff. You and James have some of the best game/collectibles rooms. can’t wait for part 2.

  • July 1, 2015 at 4:48 am

Luckily being from the UK, we totally get sarcasm πŸ™‚ Great video by the way, always cool to hear general chit chat and memories about the good old days of gaming.

Mike, did you paint the Zelda figurines yourself?

    • July 2, 2015 at 3:57 pm

Yes I did. Though I don’t think the paint I used was the proper paint for them. =(

  • July 1, 2015 at 8:24 am

Hey Mike, there is another decent McDonalds game on Genesis called “Global Gladiators” which was actually done by David Perry who also did a lot of other good games like Earthworm Jim, MDK, Smash T.V., Messiah and so on. Just so you know, check it out – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Gladiators

    Can’t take that alpha omega fuck … he can’t place a sentence without f***, c*ck, motherf*****, dick…

    • The Kaleidoscopic God

      July 1, 2015 at 3:00 pm

Yeah, let’s call him a fuck because we don’t like his mannerisms.

    • July 1, 2015 at 7:47 pm

Yeah, you fucking cock motherfucking dick.

        July 3, 2015 at 10:47 pm

OOoohhh it make sense now about ur reaction.. u look like him lmao

    • July 1, 2015 at 10:37 pm

You can’t even say Mike’s name without Mother****Er so don’t start complaining. He uses the F word in lots of Monday gameplay episodes.

      • Zorg

        July 3, 2015 at 10:44 pm

That is nice to know that Mike helped James during the AVGN which I started to watch at the very beginning 9 years ago unlike you fucks that picked it up 2 years ago, the real crew of AVGN I respect a lot and M a true fan of, but these other one like omega fuck etc no I do not want to see them here, and especially when they can’t place a proper sentence together without fuck dick mother fucker etc

    • July 2, 2015 at 11:28 pm

You guys do realize that Zorg has just as much of a right to not like something as you guys have the right not to like his post. I can’t stand AlphaOmegaSin either because of the too much cussing and his awful jokes. To each his or her own. I am sorry for you that all people do not conform to your ways and views.

      • July 2, 2015 at 11:30 pm

On another note: I don’t like a good many guest appearances they have. I’d rather just watch James, Mike, Bootsy, Ryan and any combo of them working together. That’s the breaks for you people that think everyone should conform to what they believe.

    • July 6, 2015 at 12:02 pm

I know it’s a shitty thing to do, but I can’t stand that Cali(?) accent. What I see is a bearded metal freak, what I hear is a surfer Michelangelo wannabe “like duud, like duud, duud”. Sorry Alpha, it’s nothing personal πŸ˜›

I like to call this video ‘Mike’s backstory’

  • July 1, 2015 at 10:57 am

I’m surprised James has never reviewed Scrapyard Dog. Though I wished he did more Playstation 1 games.

  • July 1, 2015 at 11:30 am

No MacDonalds games on Xbox one? Well, we did have a handful of Doritos games on xbox arcade, that’s close enough for me.

It does feel a little ironic for you guys to harp on Nintendo for ‘innovating too much’, since for the longest time lately people have been criticising them for doing the same games over and over, like with Mario. Ultimately, there needs to be a middle ground, which I think was done well with Link Between Worlds and Metroid Prime; naturally it’s good to have the same principles of gameplay, but just recycling the same stuff from the eighties or whatever is also lame.

    • July 1, 2015 at 1:39 pm

At least they’re not making a million dreary-looking FPS games.

Nintendo may innovate “too much” and not all of the innovations work out, but it seems like the other companies are as afraid to try something new as Nintendo is of repeating themselves.

      • Satnav

        July 1, 2015 at 7:16 pm

Er, my point was that, at least as far as many people are concerned, it’s Nintendo doing the same old shit. I don’t necessarily agree with all of that–I think we’re long overdue a new F-Zero–but I can see why people might not be inspired by all the random Mario and Zelda titles lately, which don’t really seem to offer much more than the last besides gimmicks. That may be just perception, but again, it comes down to finding a balance. Nintendo actually trying new IPs like Splatoon is what actually grabs my interest.

Dude I got the worst story ever for trading in stuff. Back in the day I had an SNES and NES with a ton of games for both. I traded my NES, SNES, and all my games in to get a…… GUESS WHAT….. SEGA CD!!!!! YEP that’s right SEGA CD!!!! I KICK MY SELF EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE FOR THAT ONE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Vivi

    July 1, 2015 at 2:57 pm

It’s interresting how much more knowledge Mike has than James. He even is interrested in Treasure, the best Sega third party developer. I though always he is a Nintendo fanboy.

Mike, how have girls reacted to your collection through the years?

  • July 1, 2015 at 5:06 pm

Anyone else interested in the colorform sets between the shelves in the background?

  • MadHitz

    July 1, 2015 at 7:38 pm

Are you guys seeing how many times you can drop the F bomb in a single video?

  • Dr. Breakfastmachine

    July 1, 2015 at 8:17 pm

Mike’s story about Super Mario Bros 3 reminds me of something that happened when I was a kid in the early 2000s. This was when Lego’s Bionicle toyline was being advertised like crazy in the US and everyone was waiting for it, but it hadn’t quite come out here yet. My brother went to Germany that year as part of his school’s foreign exchange program, and it just so happened that Bionicle toys were already on shelves there, so he got me one and brought it back, several months before they started showing up in US stores.

It wasn’t as big a deal as Super Mario Bros 3, but it was still pretty cool bragging rights.

  • James-Masaki Ryan

    July 1, 2015 at 9:09 pm

I know the feeling of having Mario 3 early. I got my Famicom release from Japan months before the US release, and only let a very small few friends come to my house to play it. I did have classmates saying “Oh yeah? Well I already have Super Mario … 5! So there!”Elementary school playground liars…

  • July 1, 2015 at 10:38 pm

It’s the video I always wanted to see. Since when did you get psychic powers, Mike?

Hey Mike, I had to sell NES games to get my SNES too! And the only one I got to sell was TMNT 2 : The Arcade Game! Big trauma.

  • July 2, 2015 at 4:12 am

Guys, LL Cool J is in H20 and Busta Rhymes is in Resurrection. I’m pretty sure Coolio isn’t in any of them… πŸ˜‰

  • July 2, 2015 at 4:23 am

  • Art Vandelay

    July 2, 2015 at 1:25 pm

He was talking about Chase the Chuckwagon for the Atari 2600, not Scrapyard Dog.

Nice video. Interesting conversation. There was more talking than there was a tour and showing everything off, though. But, it was interesting to listen to.
