as a fan of the old universal horror movies i’m surprised I’ve never heard of this until now.. James seems to be responsible for introducing me to a lot of awesome movies, games and tv series I’ve never heard of.. keep up the great work of that James..

I Know same thing happen to me, Before i didn’t knew much of this horror movies, I was i normal guy, But one day i discovered the ”creature from the black lagoon” review from the 2007 Monster Madness and i follow the Link on the description and discovered more classic movies ,and the AVGN ,and the home made movies from Cinemassacre, and my life changed forever.

    Great review as always.

Will James review the Plan 9 remake he did a while back. I haven’t heard or found anything about it in the last few years, and I wonder if it got pushed into post production hell.

I would say this movie is a lot of fun. Other than Krogh, I think this is the best performance Lionel Atwill gave in a Universal horror movie as the demented Dr. Rigas. Now originally this was supposed to be a follow up to the Karloff-Lugosi team-ups called “The Electric Man” but the script was shelved when Britain banned horror movies in the mid 30’s. I would go so far as to say that this is the best Universal horror film of the decade that doesn’t have a famous monster in it. Any other nominations for that title?

Lon Chaney Jr. did great in carrying on his deceased dad’s legacy. I may check this movie out

I was really expecting you to explain the visual effect James. Too bad :/

Who wouldn’t like to see James do an in depth review of Of Mice and Men? I think that would be awesome. I personally think Lon Chaney, Jr. should’ve won an Oscar for that film, he gave such a great performance.

I´m not a big fan of b/w horror movies, but those episodes are diverting and so well made, it´s a pleasure to watch.

I seriously am curious if James Rolfe is a fan of The Misfits. They even have a song called “Die, Monster, Die.”
