Glitch Gremlin was always my favorite episode.
April 9, 2014 at 3:56 pm
Yeah, i love the Glitch Gremlin. I really wish the Nerd would encounter the Glitch Gremlin more often. I hope he is in the movie.
April 9, 2014 at 4:11 pm
In the movie yes, or even better he could do another Game Glitches episode. Maybe Mike has some glitches up his sleeve.
April 9, 2014 at 4:19 pm
I think its funny how when this episode game out i’m sure a lot of us where thinking ‘who the hell is this new guy’ when infact he is kinda the first partner in crime for james

Epic! great work like always
April 9, 2014 at 6:21 pm
Heh, I’d love to see a reprisal of the Glitch Gremlin. Even if it was in one of Mike’s videos, that would be awesome. You can even have it be a video where Mike joins the dark side and joins forces with the Glitch Gremlin!
Eh… Maybe its all just wishful thinking, but I think that would be totally kick ass.
April 9, 2014 at 7:01 pm
Ha! I love this episode. So glad you did this. Normally I don’t watch these, but this is a great episode.
April 9, 2014 at 7:19 pm
Also, my favorite line from the glitch gremlin is “I shit all over him.” That smug little bastard.
April 9, 2014 at 7:32 pm
What is the name of that song during the Clubberf**k?
April 10, 2014 at 11:31 pm
Eye of the tiger
April 10, 2014 at 11:32 pm
Oops nevermind its not
April 9, 2014 at 7:39 pm
Glitch gremlin with Mike would be great. Make one of those!
April 9, 2014 at 10:10 pm
I think the Pictionary-type you were thinking of on NES was called Anticipation.
April 9, 2014 at 10:39 pm
There’s glitches in me britches!! I love it. Would be awesome if glitch gremlin was in the movie, the fans demand the return of glitch gremlin! 🙂
April 10, 2014 at 2:47 am
Ah, the Glitch Gremlin. I love that episode. Now, every time I encounter a glitch in a game, I think of him. As others have said, I hope to see him again one day.
April 10, 2014 at 1:17 pm
It is possible to make games glitch out on purpose. I saw a couple of videos where they were using emulators and did some stuff with the memory or something. They played around with Silent Hill (PS1) and Mario 64. But I don’t find glitches funny that are made, it’s “better” to have them naturally occur.
April 11, 2014 at 3:49 am
Ya, those are considered Rom corruptors. I don’t know details, but has to do with the binary code, by corrupting certain addresses in a ROM, you introduce weird things. Look up Vinesauce on youtube, he has several video’s where he takes NES to N64 games and glitches them out, Donkey Kong Country, Zelda Ocarina of time etc… Funny stuff. I actually attempted a few myself with a special emulator that allows you to change addresses in a ROM to corrupt the ROM. It takes a bit of time to get used to it, and most of the time you will crash the ROM, but every once in awhile you’ll get a really wacked out effect.

The Clubberfuck should be used as an end game boss in the AVGN game.
April 10, 2014 at 1:59 pm
Great glitches and great commentary, James. I enjoyed the video.
April 10, 2014 at 6:53 pm
Expanding my game collection, Just got a Genesis, so now I have the 2600, N64, and that. I feel proud of it, but there is still much to be desired…
April 10, 2014 at 6:55 pm
00:47 “Base one fuck”… Ok! Base one fuck! There needs to be a band with that name!
April 10, 2014 at 9:09 pm
I always forget how much I love this episode. Bravo 🙂
April 10, 2014 at 11:27 pm
Was he talking about Anticipation?
April 10, 2014 at 11:37 pm
Speaking of glitches I encountered a glitch in Top Gun Hardlock during one mission which prevents failing the mission outside of the radar boundaries.
April 11, 2014 at 3:42 am
Believe if or not, Mountain King has 2 glitch area’s, Glitch Heaven and Glitch Hell. If you go DOWN, to the spider and do some crazy thing, you can get the glitch to happen going down. I remember my cousin doing this on our old colecovision.
April 11, 2014 at 4:53 pm
james and mike have either of you seen dracula the dark prince (2013) i think you should d oa review on it
April 12, 2014 at 9:47 am
The reflection in the toaster doesn’t quite make sense at 3:44 😛 Maybe a black blur on the head and a red blur on the body would’ve made it more convincing that it was the back of the body 😛
Thanks for another video Nerd 🙂
April 12, 2014 at 2:56 pm

I encountered 2 weird glitches before. Once in NES Pro Wrestling I tried to throw a guy against the apron and he ended up running through the apron into the ring out the other side ran through the audience and came back out behind me and hit the ring apron and fell. And then once Baseball stars gave me unlimited money.
April 13, 2014 at 3:52 am

April 15, 2014 at 8:38 pm
Yes, we want more Glitch Gremlin! Kevin has great comic timing and hilarious facial expressions in this! “I’ve got glitches in me britches for you nerd!” is the best line!

Want a glitch? Start sketching things with Relm in Final Fantasy 6(FF3 SNES) and the battle screen will go haywire when she misses. This works best when what you’re fighting is invisible or Relm gets confused and Sketches one of your party members.

In the final part, why is there a boxed copy of Superspike V-Ball hanging on the wall? I never saw it in the actual epsisode, but now…
