December 1, 2013 at 4:08 am
Abused it so hard the games disappeared. Classic.
December 1, 2013 at 4:25 am
There really needs to be a return of these. we don’t see the games really eating shit after were through with them.
December 1, 2013 at 1:30 pm
Actually I think he always kept the same standards. I mean from the beginning it’s not like he broke every single game, but only the ones that really deserved it, that is one game every three or four reviews. Well Toxic Crusaders was recent, and 4 episodes after that, in the most recent episode he destroyed AVGN adventures… kinda.
December 5, 2013 at 2:33 pm
I was kind of surprised he poured a couple layers of gunk all over Toxic Crusaders, seeing as that’s not the most common game.
But then maybe that’s why he didn’t do something more destructive.
Clearly that NWC one was the most controvertial, to the point I wonder if Pat regrets it.
In one his podcasts asking him AGAIN if the AVGN destroyed the real carts he gave a snark response “Yes he did, James owed me a lot of money.” 😛

no videao here, please fix it :p
December 1, 2013 at 7:13 am
Hey nice work and great little video! I’m happy to see you’ve started adding an “Honorable Mention”! 😀
December 1, 2013 at 7:47 am
No, offense, I love your and James’ work with no exception, but aren’t you running out of top 10 themes? :p
December 1, 2013 at 3:25 pm
James and Screwattack tend to do these and the end of the year, so James can take some time off to be with his family. And with a child now? More important than ever for him to have some time off.
December 1, 2013 at 9:12 am
I’ve never even seen that Rocky one.
December 1, 2013 at 11:06 am
I have just seen the rocky episode and this didn’t come up. However I am quite confident that I have seen this somewhere.
December 1, 2013 at 11:40 am
It was on the DVD.
December 1, 2013 at 10:21 am
That was hilarious! How many takes did you have to do to hit the Indiana Jones game with the whip? I also have no clue how you actually got a clip where you weren’t laughing when Mike was dressed as the lion. I laugh so hard every time I watch that episode.
December 5, 2013 at 10:35 pm
As to actually taking the Indiana Jones cart out with a whip, without taking the top-loader with it, I’m pretty sure that’s about as realistically possible as the kid in the Ninja Gaiden commercial who can throw his cart into the NES, like a shuriken. 😀
December 1, 2013 at 10:40 am
I can’t keep track of how many times you’ve destroyed a game
December 1, 2013 at 10:47 am
Happy first December! I didn’t even notice it had come already 🙂 Great top 10 video, as always. I get such a kick, and such a laugh everytime I watch these exact moments 😀 They’re hilarious!

I still think the NWC one is the #1 for 2 reasons.
1. Destroying probably the 2 rarest games in existence is awesome!
2. The look on Pat’s face when you did it? Priceless.
Here’s an idea for a Top 10: Top 10 Worst LJN Games! Good luck choosing just 10! lol
December 1, 2013 at 1:15 pm
Those games were fakes.
December 1, 2013 at 1:38 pm
it’s still awesome though.
December 1, 2013 at 11:58 am
I remember seeing the Rocky scene at some point, but the last few times I watched it on the site I think it was the original edit.
December 1, 2013 at 12:34 pm
Why are those NES cartridges so damn big, when there is only such a small circuit board inside? Any explanation?!
December 5, 2013 at 10:39 pm
The Famicom carts (which the NES circuit boards are based on, just with more pins and a lockout chip) are only about half as tall, but Nintendo made the NES bigger because they thought making it look like a VCR was cooler (I don’t know, maybe it was in the ’80s, I was only a toddler then).
December 5, 2013 at 10:43 pm
Actually, the NES might have also been purposely made bigger to add more RF shielding to the console. Nintendo can never have enough of that in their consoles. 😛
(I mean, look at the N64. Nintendo even lined the N64 CARTS with metal shielding, making them needlessly heavy and probably needlessly expensive to make, especially going against its CD rivals.)
December 1, 2013 at 12:46 pm
Whatever change was made to the site sucks the dick cheese out of an old man’s uncut dick.
I can watch the videos on mu iphone, but can’t on my PC, even after I disabled adblock for this site.
Please don’t go this route, guys. Just keep things like they were…
December 1, 2013 at 1:34 pm
I have AdBlock and I have no problem watching this whatsoever.
December 1, 2013 at 1:22 pm
What about a top 10 Special guests? Like Shit Pickle, Spiderman, Freddy Krueger, Jason, Board James (yup), the Joker, the ghosts in the christmas episode, Bugs Bunny… There’s a lot to choose from. 🙂
December 1, 2013 at 1:25 pm
I still find i wierd how he lines up the sword vertically and cuts the video horizontally! Mistake or on purpose?
December 1, 2013 at 2:04 pm
Another good compilation, thank you 🙂
By the way, am I the only one who never ever was a fan of the AVGN’s graphic fecal humour?
December 1, 2013 at 2:38 pm
These vids are no fun for fans who have seen every Nerd video multiple times. Oh well, I guess some people are getting a kick out of them.
December 1, 2013 at 7:34 pm
I’ve introduced 4 friends of mine to this site just because of those Top 10! Great stuff 😀
December 1, 2013 at 3:08 pm
Your rage in the Dick Tracy episode has to be my favorite AVGN moment of all time. I’m glad you finally put it in one of your clip videos.
December 1, 2013 at 6:58 pm
I can’t believe the Angry Video Game Nerd destroys so much stuff.
December 1, 2013 at 7:20 pm
One thing I expected to see in the list was Batman games being shoved into Joker’s ass, but that might be more Joker abuse.
December 1, 2013 at 7:32 pm
Anyone know if James really broke something with his whip around 1:09 because he gets out of character and a light goes off. lol Amazing video James like always!
December 1, 2013 at 9:27 pm
Top 10 best video game themes?
December 1, 2013 at 11:45 pm
sweet, I love all those episodes.
December 2, 2013 at 12:07 am
hey James quik question from everyone down here in River city, can you do a nes review on “The Punisher”?Ken was saying you might be shit scared LJN might blow your fucking mind.So if ya if you could do that, talk to you later James..
December 2, 2013 at 1:46 am
The honorable mention is one of the most eye catching of any I can think of.
December 3, 2013 at 2:05 am
James did you really break or destroy all the games on the videos or did you make fake copies and destroyed them? Saving the real ones?
December 3, 2013 at 6:24 pm
No video for me.
December 7, 2013 at 12:57 am
You crazy James
December 8, 2013 at 6:14 am
As far as the 32X and Winter Games were concerned, death by fire was probably for the best… Thanks for the video!
December 8, 2013 at 9:48 pm
HAHA the Dark Castle torture was great, and fuck Toxic crusaders was gross!
December 9, 2013 at 1:13 am
I’ve never seen the reedit of Rocky before.
December 9, 2013 at 10:34 pm
some are kind of redundant and overdone, others are good, varying, in and out of their/the viewers’ contexts, +1d20/-1d20 of points.
…More or less filler.
December 14, 2013 at 4:34 am
The Nerd throwing around the Karate Kid cart is the best abuse for me… TMNTIII sword scene is second.
December 14, 2013 at 4:44 am
I meant Friday the 13th cart instead of Karate Kid. That when he finally breaks out about how Friday the 13th sucks is a great scene.
January 16, 2014 at 11:26 pm
There was one that never made in the “Top 10 Game Abuse” list, setting off fireworks. Why not use firecrackers, roman candles, color balls or whatever that is to set these off and blow them up. That’s how they destroyed the game that are garbage using lots of fireworks.
January 19, 2014 at 8:24 pm
when the winter games melted it looks like chocolate melting
March 5, 2014 at 4:49 am
And pat was sent to jail for 5 years
Accused of trying to choke the nerd to death.
And when he got out he found that it was a zelda cartridge.
But the second one mite be real.
April 7, 2014 at 2:07 pm
Indeed, Matt Dusza.
April 7, 2014 at 2:15 pm
How does he destroy these? Some of them are obviously wax models, or just the case. But most seem like he legitimately destroyed them. (Nintendo World Campionship) I’d like to see a behind the scenes video about this.
May 3, 2014 at 8:59 am
C’mon, what about the one where u put the BTTF2+3 cartridge in the toaster?! Y didn’t u put that one instead of the one where u throw the rocky box cover containing the cartridge?
