Excellent review, this was indeed a POS. ^_^
The characters utterly disposable, like, “why the fuck am I watching this crap? get tot he ALIENS already!”
Still, it would be nice to see more match-ups like this. Even badly done, I’d pay to go see another sequel.

You know what one problem this and the other AVP suffered from? Think about all the games, and one thing they have that neither of the AVP movies have that the games, and most comics have. COLONIAL MARINES! We don’t want to see scientists and kids fighting aliens and predators, we want Marines to kick some ass……and get killed too. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • October 25, 2013 at 1:27 am

i’m first and this is the last alien movie for now.

James definitely put this film on its place. I know what you shit last summer ROFL

  • xZOMBIEx

    October 25, 2013 at 1:44 am

James, you’re NUTS! AvP 2 was WAAAYYYY better than the first one and better than Predator 2, Alien 3 and 4… They also try to give continuity as well with them having the predator weapon at the end… Maybe you should watch it again if you just did this review off of memory and didn’t recently watch it…

    • October 25, 2013 at 2:28 am

I just watched AVP 2. Let me assure you that watching it recently doesn’t make it any better, in fact it just makes me remember how bad it is that much more clearly. It’s by far the worst movie in either the Alien or Predator series. Its so bad I started bitching about this movie in the AVP 1 video comments. I really hate agreeing with the consensus of movie haters out there. I see a lot of movies I enjoy that everyone hated, but this is one time they got it right, its THAT bad.

I’d rather have an alien barf diarrhea up my nose for 3 days than watch this steaming pile of predator crap that was somehow mistaken for a movie.

    • Bludman2

      October 25, 2013 at 2:36 am

Or more likely it’s the other way around considering he watches these movies especially for this review (he even mentioned that during the AvP review) and you probably haven’t seen it in awhile

    • October 25, 2013 at 3:14 am

Are YOU nuts? AvP2 is awful. Like, just plain awful. It is worse than any of the movies you mentioned. Hell, this is one of the worst movies period.

The only good thing about it was the very first shot where the Predalien bursts out.

    • October 25, 2013 at 5:40 am

i think the majority would agree with me this is by far one of the worst movies ever made. It has bad actors, shit plot, fighting scenes so dark that u cant see whats happening

    • October 25, 2013 at 5:42 am

i think the majority would agree with him this is by far one of the worst movies ever made. It has bad actors, shit plot, fighting scenes so dark that u cant see whats happening

    • October 25, 2013 at 7:45 am

Or it’s entirely possible maybe you just have poor taste, because Predator 2 is a great film, and no matter how bad Alien 3 and 4 are, they’re STILL better than both AvP movies. And no, there is no “continuity” to speak of, as in, these movies do not “count” towards either respective series.

    • MarcusMarcus

      October 25, 2013 at 11:10 am

AVP 2 was awful, just because he has a different opinion doesn’t mean he needs to go watch it again ya jackass zombie bob-omb

    • SpeedyEric

      October 25, 2013 at 3:38 pm

It’s called opinion. Besides, AVP-R was actually hated more than AVP. I can see why people hate these movies, but like James said, the best parts of these films are the Alien and Predator scenes. So I guess you can consider these films as guilty pleasures.

    • Josey

      October 26, 2013 at 12:31 am

actually it depends on how you like your movies. if awesome brutal violence and a kickass armada of aliens, a predalien and a predator is wat you seek then yeah its better, but if u seek better characters, less horror cliches and a decent story line then AVP is better…. but i agree i like AVPR better ๐Ÿ™‚

    • October 30, 2013 at 3:45 pm

I still haven’t seen Requiem. I thought the first AVP was ok. But one of the problems I had with these VS movies were the people. We watch these for Freddy, Jason, Alien, and Predator’s battles. I couldn’t care less about the people. I just wanted all the people to be killed off so we could see them fight without interference.

  • October 25, 2013 at 1:46 am

I didn’t think AVP was all that bad. It was cheesy and cliche, but it delivered everything that was hoping for which was straight up action between Alien and Predator. AVPR, on the other hand, was very disappointing. Firstly, the most obvious issue was that it was way too dark. I know they were trying for, which was the fear of not knowing where the Aliens were coming from, but it just didn’t work as I can’t see shit half the time. Even if it wasn’t too dark, I didn’t really like how they added the “horror” element to it. Like James said, the characters were way too cliche and make them annoying as shit. You didn’t care about any of the characters. I would have actually preferred if they kept it more of an “Action/Sci-fi” movie.

  • Aaron1375

    October 25, 2013 at 1:48 am

I liked this one a bit better than the first, but it does have sort of a b movie feel with horrible human characters in it. So, next we shall resurrect the dead you say? The evil variety perhaps?

  • Jason Hilton

    October 25, 2013 at 1:51 am

I wish i had never seen this movie. Too much baby/kid killing for my taste. Also, they kill off like every character so you’re not sure who’s the hero. I’d rather watch the first avp a million times in a row than watch AVPR again

  • October 25, 2013 at 2:00 am

Another monster madness and all I want is a Bram Stoker’s Dracula review. Come on, James. We know you want to do it! What’s taking you so long?!

Where is Predators in this , the prequel / sequel to Predators 2 ? in my book that should have been in this item .

  • October 25, 2013 at 2:05 am

So Im guessing tomorrow starts the Romero Living Dead series
Was really hoping for Friday the 13th, wondering when that will happen

    • October 25, 2013 at 11:51 am

This was the perfect year to talk about Friday the 13 (2013), but., oh well, it’s time for George A. Romero.

  • Nintendomaniac

    October 25, 2013 at 2:34 am

Ironic that the main complaint you heard about the first Alien vs Predator movie was that it was PG-13. Then they make the sequel R, and it still turns out to be worse than the first.

Goes to show you that the rating has little to nothing to do with whether a movie is good, or if it sucks.

  • Karusegawa

    October 25, 2013 at 2:38 am

James, Alien VS Predator 3 was realeased as a video game on 2012. It’s actually pretty cool. I’m guessing you already heard of it, but I just wanted to say it.

    • October 25, 2013 at 3:53 am

What’s the point of that? The AvP franchise already have somewhere around 10 good games made. I didn’t think a movie licence game was needed…

It’s a game based on a movie based on a game based on a comic based on two movies >.<

  • DragonoftheEastblue

    October 25, 2013 at 3:16 am

Though I agree the human acting was bad, I just loved the vs battles. Same goes for AVP.

  • October 25, 2013 at 3:36 am

I just watched this for the first time, to prepare for this review. ive had the dvd of this movie for awhile but never watched it. yeah, it was pretty meh. first AvP was better.

hmm, tomorrow we raise the dead huh? well, you have 6 days left. im guessing the Romero movies? Night, Dawn, Day, Land, Diary, Survival. That is 6 movies.

  • October 25, 2013 at 3:51 am

I really thought he’d touch on the liberties they took with the xenomorph itself. It’s like the creators of this one didn’t even see any of the past movies at all.

There’s a scene where it tries to reproduce… by biting a woman’s face, sticking a tube down her throat to her uterus (apparently they don’t know anything about human anatomy either) and implant several eggs there…
Some defend this by saying “but the Ripley/Xeno hybrid changed reproduction method”… Yeah, and that was a hybridized clone of a queen, tampered genetically by scientists. The predalien is a naturally born alien and not even a queen at that.

  • rush86

    October 25, 2013 at 4:19 am

yea its really sad they kept going with this. They should have ended this series after alien 3 and after predator 2. Its messed up how many movie franchises get ruined cause of money hungry assholes

    • SilverShadow333

      October 25, 2013 at 4:42 am

The best part of this entire movie, is when you don’t expect the blonde girl to die, and then BOOOOM! The Predator pins her to the fuckin wall with his shuriken. Total badassery.

……and that was it. The only other good part was when they kinda showed the Predator home world for a few seconds.

The rest…was shit. *AVGN Scrunchy face*

Short, nice review.. One would think, You didn’t spoil the plot that way, but You actually said everything there is! lol.. So You gonna switch to some zombie movies now.. Ok i guess.. but since You touched both predator movies inside these reviews I was HOPING, You would say at least couple of words about “Predators (2010)”……. The movie is still not the greatest and has thousands of flaws, but it’s a MASTERPIECE compared to both AVPs, fun to watch and one of the better movies of what they are offering in Alien and Predator franchises lately.

    October 25, 2013 at 5:43 am

Not going to work Predators (2010) in somewhere? This part of sequel-athon pretty much covered the the first 2 parts of the Predator trilogy anyway.

  • October 25, 2013 at 7:01 am

Oh shit! I hope he goes into George Romero’s Dead series!

But seriously, I’m surprised he didn’t talk about the pregnant chick in this movie, considering he’s a father now and everything. That part of the movie where she gets implanted and then the alien triplets bursting out just literally makes me ill to watch…and that is NOT hyperbole.

  • October 25, 2013 at 7:03 am

    What about Predators

    • Cilliandrew

      October 25, 2013 at 7:23 am

This was an Alien series review, he only touched on Predator 1 at the start of his AvP 1 review.

  • scorpio666

    October 25, 2013 at 7:32 am

Im hoping its the George Romero zombie films James is reviewing next but I suspect by his quote that its the Evil Dead franchise. If its the latter I’d be interested to hear his thoughts on the reboot, I personally didnt like it.

  • Chimponaut

    October 25, 2013 at 7:42 am

The stupidest thing about this movie is that Predator lore states that the Yautja (predators) lived in the same planet as the aliens, that’s why they evolved that weird mouth with four claws that they have, to defend themselves against facehuggers, so the movie already starts with bullshit, Yautjas can’t be impregnated by aliens, that’s why they needed humans to make them reproduce and hunt them.

    • October 25, 2013 at 7:51 am

No offense, but where exactly is this “Predator lore” from? Certainly not from the two main movie series. So I take it it’s from the Dark Horse comics or something like that then. And in that case, it’s really hardly legible as source material. Outside of these god awful AvP films, the MAIN movie franchises have never established any actual relationship or connection between the Xenos and the Predators, whatsoever. And that includes Prometheus.

      • Chimponaut

        October 25, 2013 at 8:09 am

The AvP comics can hardly be legible as source material for the AvP movies? AvP first appeared as the comic series, so I take it that the comics must be the source material, and not the original movies. Because, you know, they have nothing to do with each other, except for the lore created in the comics.

Anyone else having trouble posting a response to this review? I’ve tried a couple of times now, and they aren’t showing up. If i respond to someone else’s response, though, it works.

    • Cilliandrew

      October 25, 2013 at 7:47 am

Hmm, that one worked. Weird. Anyways, AVP:R.

There are 2 things worthwhile in this movie, Kristen Hager’s ass, and Kristen Hager’s totally unexpected death. It really hammered home how little the humans mattered to the Alien/Predator situation.

All that being said, this is probably the worst movie i ever paid money to see in the theatre. Sad that a series that started with 2 genre-setting landmarks of cinema ended with THIS.

  • Dimitri

    October 25, 2013 at 7:49 am

Well, I’m surprised that you told so little about this movie. You just mentioned that there are humans, aliens, predators, gore, and that this movie is bad. I sure hate all the teenage bullcrap in it, but there was at least few nice ideas here. After first half of hour, it gets quite good.
Btw, you mentioned continuity errors with other movies, what did you mean by that?

  • October 25, 2013 at 8:02 am

I’d love to see an Alien vs. Predator vs. The Thing movie, The Thing would probably be the most dangerous thing in existence if it manages to absorb both Alien (different hybrids) and Predator DNA and mix them together with spiders, humans and other animals

  • herbsuperb

    October 25, 2013 at 8:13 am

I only saw that one once. Frankly at the end of it I thought…..not THAT bad. WAY better than AvP (made by douchebag filmmaker #1). But I’ve never had any desire at all to see it again. 100% forgettable.

  • Haseo55

    October 25, 2013 at 8:33 am

I actually liked both movies but James is right the films focus more on the humans that on the Predator and the Aliens, in was ok in the Predator and Alien stand alone films but here it makes the movies seem boring.

Sadly they seem to do this a lot one example was transformers, i liked the films but the third one focused so much on the humans that it was really boring

  • Matthew Collins

    October 25, 2013 at 9:20 am

Eh, I have to disagree with this review. I felt that this movie was a lot better than AvP because it delivered more of what the people wanted: aliens versus predators with some hapless humans thrown in the mix. To me, the fact that they had finally brought the battle to Earth was a major selling point, and the fact that it had more action and not just a lot of running away as in the first AvP movie. Yes, if the Xenomorphs made it to our planet (something that “we” have been trying to stop them from doing all along), there would be a lot of bloodshed and gore. I mean, look at Predator. That wasn’t exactly a clean movie. I also like the fact that no one (babies and kids) was safe and “up for grabs”. You think an Xeno would care how old you are? This is a “Versus” movie that delivers. Yes, the humans were bland, but you’re not supposed to be focusing on the humans. You should be there to see the titular beasties duke it out. And boy, do they ever! And yes, it doesn’t have much suspense and continuity between the Alien franchise, but again, it’s a movie about two bloodthirsty species waging war with us caught in the middle. All you need to explain is how they got face to face and let ’em at it.

    • Cilliandrew

      October 25, 2013 at 9:54 am

It would have been great fun to watch the Alien fight the Predator… IF YOU COULD EVEN SEE THE FIGHTS. They were shot way too damned dark. Very frustrating in the theatre.

  • hobblegobble

    October 25, 2013 at 9:28 am

Between the two AVP movies I prefer this one. It doesn’t have as much dumb stuff ie teenage predators, weird alien resurrection styled xenomorphs, predator sledding, etc. etc. nor does it have the weird half-assed SciFi junk. It’s straight horror/action, with some ‘B Movie’ style homage, which is much closer to what I wanted to see the first time around.

  • Jackred89

    October 25, 2013 at 10:16 am

I didn’t realized Alien series went that much downhill. I think you’re doing George A. Romero’s zombie movies next. Some of them are great movies. After Land of the Dead that’s where it sucks. It’s a shame too considering these are good movies.

  • October 25, 2013 at 10:42 am

Im going out to say I actually enjoyed both these movies. In the second one I distinctly remember noticing how they killed off all the annoying teen douches and only really the predator was left at the end of the 2nd.
The first I thought was actually great.

Im surprised you didnt mention the pred-alien putting its eggs in the prego woman… .that was like a pinnacle scene to show how vicious these really were.

even the predator would have thought twice on that.

  • October 25, 2013 at 10:45 am

We all know what the next movie is going to be… it’s going to be named “Alien”, it’s going to be a direct rehash of the first movie full of fancy CGI but lacking everything that made the original great.

BTW, the predator in this movie is just goofing around, it doesnยดt have any importance to the story

Not the most requested crossover film idea, but I’ll take it!

    October 25, 2013 at 1:32 pm

This movie was basically about humans trying to survive the aliens with a predator that also showed up. It should have been called “Alien vs Humans and also a Predator”.

  • October 25, 2013 at 1:44 pm

Romero’s dead movies must be next.

There are six of them, and six days in the month left.

That means the final film of the month will be Survival of the Dead.

Man, that’s a pretty shitty way to go out.

I thought the movie was okay I don’t see why he called it a complete shit compared to AVP

It’s nice that he’s going to end it with a real Halloween Series about Zombies.

    • Cilliandrew

      October 25, 2013 at 4:57 pm

It takes a special kinda movie to make AvP look GOOD. The fact that AvP:R did that is all you can say about how bad it was. The series started with 2 bonafide cinematic classics, and then steadily went down hill. Alien 3 was worse then the first 2, Alien Resurrection was worse then Alien 3, AVP was worse then all of the above, and AVP:R takes the cake.

    Good Review

  • October 25, 2013 at 4:26 pm

Nailed my thoughts way back in the mid/late 90s when I first saw the Todd Mcfarlane Movie Maniacs line put out an epic set with Alien VS Predator and me an my friends started wondering what if that was a movie. We all pretty much agreed it never could be since there would be no dialogue. Subtitles maybe? Who wants to see that movie? Also Requiem takes place in my home town and I want to apologize and just tell you all that we get bears and coyotes and combat-hardened squirrels all the time but not a lot of xenomorphs bursting out of any of them. Though imagine that, what would an alien that burst out of cow be like? Would it just graze and pollute the ozone layer with toxic flatulence? All I know is it would bring the whole aliens mutilating cows thing full-circle and that’s a story I sorely need to see before I die.

  • October 25, 2013 at 6:24 pm

You know what I think? Just Aliens vs Pretators may be just a video game concept. At least so think Hollywood. And hey, we’ve got 2 PC games already on the subject. Ok, maybe not, marines are still a playing part.

I have a guess for the next series. How about Child’s Play? There’s some resurrection there. Also was made after Alien which Night of the Living Dead wasn’t. I’m assuming there’s chronology here. Still flabbergasted it’s not Friday the 13th.

I noticed that the video title is Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem (2007), but the film name is actually AlienS vs. Predator: Requiem. In reference I think to the film Aliens, also a second part.

“The Characters […] I hated everyone of them” and ” I know what ou shit last summer”!!

I love you James – expressing so truely what I thought all these years… Never before in history of cinema did a franchise pass off in such a fucking shitstorm of stupidity! Hollywood – back to the roots with ya! Don’t fuck around with stupid sequels anymore – we need fresh ideas and no more merchandise!

And i’m still sitting here waiting for “Robocop vs Terminator”… Seriously, they could have done a movie with the first scripts; that ones that inspired comic books, games, toys etc…

“Unrated”. Every time I see that on a DVD label my head translates it to “Nobody saw this piece of shit, here’s more blood and/or boobs, please notice me.” It should just say “Unwatchable” and they do it all the time. Sounds like a job for the Bullshit man.

The thing that killed it for me was the lack of colonial marines. They were a huge part of the avp universe. Also the predators in this movie were totally weak.It only took 1 alien to take two of them out. Even though they were new hunters they still had advanced training equivalent to a green beret at minimum.

  • October 26, 2013 at 2:08 am

I was hoping that you will get into the zombie genre next and I was happy to hear that you will resurrect the dead. I was kind of dissapointed for this year Monster Madness, the Mummy, Hammer Frankenstein and Gamera donยดt mean a lot for me but you get back at the end with the Alien franchise and specially with the zombie genre (Iยดm a big zombie fan)

  • October 26, 2013 at 2:15 am

Oh man. James, you have GOT to review the Resident Evil movies. Most of them are cliche stinkers, but the first one is pretty good, and the two CG movies were pretty goddamned good too.

While you’re at it, why don’t you review the Resident Evil games? You can review the original trilogy on Playstation, and then the Remake on Gamecube (and Zero too, if you want). Oh man, that is my Christmas wish. Dear Santa, please have James review the Resident Evil trilogy on Playstation, and the Remake on Gamecube, along with (at least) the first movie.

ugh.. i absolutely HATED this movie, the original AvP wasn’t really bad it just wasn’t any good, requiem tho was an annoying piece of shit movie that is a complete and utter insult to both franchises and should NEVER have been made.

I’m a fan of both films, but lean strongly towards the Predator series since it was much more memorable to me during my younger years. This movie had so much potential, but they turned it to Aliens vs Predator vs Dawson’s Creek. I agree they needed better lighting, I wish I could have enjoyed the costumes and effects more. I did like that they introduced the Predator’s home planet for the first time on film. Hopefully in the future, no more Dawson’s Creek BS…

    October 28, 2013 at 12:07 am

heh, I actually thought this one was better than the first one. They made it cheesy to the max, they didn’t try to write a story like the first. Meh, movie adaptations from a videogame, it’s not surprising that those movies are bad. Good game though, apv2 is, imo, the best.

  • October 28, 2013 at 12:08 pm

Predator 2 was in a populated area as well.

  • Louis Minett

    October 29, 2013 at 1:57 pm

This movie is the worst thing to welcome any real AVP fans.

I’m not talking about AVP (2004) I’m talking about the Comics and the older games, why couldn’t they have made it like that? instead they just fucked around and basically ruined the plot royally!

  • November 1, 2013 at 4:47 pm

Personally, I’d like to see a scenario like AvP 2, the PC game… Setting: A terraformed colony, marines are sent for one reason or another, Alien outbreak, Predators come to hunt… I don’t know, if there’s a console version of the game, but if so, play it, and you’ll see, what I mean… ๐Ÿ˜‰ Basically “Alien vs. Predator” but with the atmosphere of “Aliens”… That would have been, what I expected of the AvP-series…

  • betawa

    November 1, 2013 at 8:42 pm

Thats it with Aliens? What about Prometheus?

  • November 1, 2013 at 10:32 pm

my only real problem with requiem was how dark everything was. If I could actually see the aliens and predators and all the gore, then I might have enjoyed watching but I couldn’t see shit, which really sucks cause I was excited to see that hybrid do some serious damage, or at least see what the fuck it looked like.

  • December 24, 2013 at 6:43 pm

The first thing here, is that “first” can be done well, if something zany and witty is put into it.

…The second thing, is that “Lol Fail” is actually *hee hee*, to avoid the 2nd Ager Mostly-cliche, and “Failure”, and other modifications of the word ‘Fail’, are to be used; acting like people are “Fails”, is butt-fucking stupid, alongside ‘W’.

  • January 1, 2014 at 12:28 am

I thought AvP 2 should have taken place on the Predator’s home planet. It didn’t make sense to me that it would crash on the planet it just left.

For me, I try to look at the positives in movies. I try to enjoy it. If a movie is meant to be horror and is mistreated as a slapstick comedy or an action movie, I try to appreciate it for the effort. Sure a lot of the movies I own aren’t awesome, but all of them are at least worth re-watching. For example: Seed Of Chucky. If anyone remembers Child’s Play, you’ll know that Chucky was scary because the idea of a doll coming to life made you get rid of your cabbage patch kid. But anyways, over the course of 5 (now 6) films, Chucky went from a horror movie icon to a straight up goof ball. And when this movie came out, I wasn’t expecting suspense. I was expecting over-the-top action and brutal beatings from both the Alien and the Predator. But with the sequel, the only reason why I even got it was so that I can say that I have both AVP movies. I love great movies (preferably ALIENS), but I try to appreciate bad movies for what it has to offer. Paranormal Activity 4 is another example where the movie has very little to do with the first three, but I still loved it because they tried to connect it with the ending to Paranormal Activity 2 (not giving away spoilers)

  • January 9, 2014 at 10:24 pm

One thing you have to realize James is that the number one priority of hollywood is to make money, it’s a business. They will always aim the movie at the general population to make the most profit, even when there is a cult following. That is why you get that lame afterschool special cast of kids in AVP. Damn it would be awesome to see a movie like transformers like you said: with no humans!

part that made least sense for me, why did he stop to skin the cop when he is on a sweep mission to exterminate the zenomorph?

  • January 20, 2014 at 5:29 am

Best parts of this movie were when the douchebag shot the alien and melted his own face and when the predator split the whiny bitch in half. I’d watch it again just to skip to those two scenes.

I will defend AVPR as being better than AVP to my dying day. I’ve already explained some things in the comments for the first AVP movie review. Even though the characters suck in this and the story is stupidly simple, I feel that this one captured the essence of the Alien and Predator as characters. I hated how the only the Predators got their asses kicked in AVP. 2 out of 3 Predators get killed by 1 Alien (out of tons). There should be a balance in the fights between the 2 of them. AVP didn’t do that IMO. I HATED that lead female character b/c was a cheap attempt at recreating Ripley or Vasquez. She just said lines like a robot. No male character had much purpose. I also hate how AVP only glorified a strong female (like in the Alien series) but the first 2 Predator movies focused on a strong male character. This movie didn’t give a shit about the male characters. For me, both movies are (at the core of it all) only about the Alien and Predator fighting each other. AVP had more fighting between Aliens and humans and Predators and humans. Why weren’t there more interactions between the Alien and Predator, you know…LIKE THE TITLE WOULD SUGGEST! AVPR put the focus on that, not as much on the humans. I know that characters, story, etc. are the essentials of a great movie, but both films failed on that. But AVP had a bad story (the setup was good, but execution was terrible), bad characters, and not enough of the Alien fighting the Predator. But AVPR had a bad story (stupid but okay), bad characters, but plenty of Aliens fighting the Predator (and a cool new Predalien). Both movies a technically bad, but I get so much more enjoyment out of AVPR. Really when you get down to it, the only thing you need to make a fun Alien vs. Predator movie is enough interactions between the 2 monsters. A great Alien vs. Predator movie should have all of the above, but the film is a crossover novelty. The Avengers had a very simple story, but the focus was on the superheroes (that’s all people really cared about). I see it as the same thing here. Well I rambled enough. I don’t hate AVP, but I always hear others hate AVPR and like AVP, so I thought I would state my case. See my comment under the AVP review more some more detail (as if this isn’t enough LOL).

The first two Alien movies was ofcourse very well made, and stands out from the rest. The third was OK, and the fourth was crap with a couple of cool scenes and thats it.

However, i actually enjoyed both the AvP movies, ofcourse they aren’t oscar material, nor are they any high on my movie list, but as a popcorn sunday movie, they are great.

Why keep bashing these AVP movies ? yes , we all know it’ll never win an oscar but what did we all expect ? I ,for one don’t think they are as bad as people say . It all depends on what your mindset is when you go and watch these movies . I like them for the creatures and the ridiculous story and the effects . That’s why i watch these movies . It’s not like i don’t know it’s crap and i nominate them for any best actor oscar or something ….
it’s popcorn time and you don’t pick apart what the popcorn is , you just eat the shit !
