I remember watching this film when I was 8 and being totally freaked out by that ending. (Watching the movie in the dead of night after the Late Show didn’t help….)

    another great video, thanks James!

great job James as usual. once again you cease to amaze me. you’re like an entertainment train has no designated stop. kind of weird that these mummy movies are starting to repeat itself. what’s next, the mummy’s fist? the mummy’s brain? the mummy’s mommy? the mummy’s money? who knows. as for The Mummy’s Ghost, at least the ending was different. if a movie can have balls then at least it’s doing something right. after the mummy series, I wonder what the next series will be. I hope it’s half monster films and half slasher films like the last time. and if I know James, Friday The 13th would & should be the most likely choice for part of the 2nd half of monster madness. we’ll just have to wait and see.

October just ain’t right without James and his monster-a-thon.

They should have made another one called “The Mummy’s Balls”

What an ending, it’s a more modern film , the Myst. They are both boring movies with an ending that doesn’t allow you to sleep anymore. I love endings that just twist my mind, if they are coesive with the rest of the movie. I was gonna In the Mouth of Madness for a bad twisted ending for a boring movie but it’s not twisted enough, it’s all boring to me.

Im not really a horror movie aficionado. I personally don’t understand these old horror films. Too many mummies.

Not surprising to see John Carradine in this one. He was in a ton of horror movies during this period.

Not a great movie, but not bad, just good. Plus, the villain wins and the girl dies! How often do you see that?! Pretty awesome ending.

This year’s intros are toned down compared to the previous year’s, I actually appreciate this change though. The intros have a more eerie vibe to them.

The Nile Delta in North Egypt is really a swamp (according to what I’ve heard), so I can see how they realistically go out like that.
