That comment at the end about Gone With the Wind was a great one. Good job, guys! I also laughed out loud at your commentary on Halloween 6. You are SO right on that one!
October 2, 2013 at 7:27 am
Enjoying the monster madness so far. The only thing I am wondering is when are you going to put these videos on 2013 Sequal a Thon tab everytime I click it all it shows is the promo.
October 2, 2013 at 4:02 pm
I just fixed that.
October 2, 2013 at 8:47 am
hheeh instead of watching “Gone with the wind” we could be watching all the mummy films. Good point, James 😛
October 2, 2013 at 8:56 am
I love your vids about old flicks.
October 2, 2013 at 9:46 am
The Universal Studios classic Mummy series was probally my favorite movie series when I was a kid. So awesome James decided to review it this year. Monster Madness is the best!!!
October 2, 2013 at 10:47 am
I have a very rare film released in 1998 called “Bram Stoker’s The Mummy.” Now I want to try watching it again because the director tries hard to recreate a universal style monster film. On IMDB it’s alternately titled “Legend of the Mummy.” I love those fight scenes like in this review, when the monster goes to grab the throat, my thought is “chokehold!”
October 2, 2013 at 11:15 am
awesome review James and congrats about becoming a dad 🙂
October 2, 2013 at 11:16 am

October 2, 2013 at 11:44 am

October 2, 2013 at 11:45 am

October 2, 2013 at 11:51 am
1999 the mummy getting a reboot
October 2, 2013 at 1:09 pm
awesome work James. 2nd episode in and still 100% satisfying as ever. there’s something that always fascinated me about egyptian mythology and the mummy films throughout history. maybe it’s the idea of immortality, resurrection, the deities, or the idea of investigating a long list tomb of a long lost pharaoh. I absolutely agree with you in that the mummy films don’t get the same recognition as Dracula or Frankenstein does. but at least in my book, the mummy films were always entertaining. so it fits my style very easily.

October 2, 2013 at 3:37 pm
you should review 1990’s Spaced Invaders it’s a great movie and it’s all about Halloween too…
October 2, 2013 at 4:28 pm
I just thought of another awesome series you should review (I don’t think you have yet). All 4 Anthony Perkins Psycho movies. So good!
October 2, 2013 at 5:22 pm
Is no one going to comment on why they drew over or scratched out the film with the mummy where his eyes are shown? How come they chose to do this? What’s wrong with the eyes the actor had?
October 2, 2013 at 6:12 pm
I love Monster Madness! THANK YOU JAMES YOU MAKE OCTOBER EVEN MORE FUN!
October 2, 2013 at 6:16 pm

What is the movie to the right (audience right, not James’) of Invaders From Mars? The cover at least, looks really awesome. Actually, the movie to the right looks pretty cool too.
October 2, 2013 at 8:35 pm

October 2, 2013 at 9:24 pm
So this is where the 1999’s Mummy comes huh? … Interesting!! Nice review man!
October 2, 2013 at 10:37 pm
Wow, only an hour and seven minutes…this film sure does ‘wrap’ up quickly!
October 2, 2013 at 11:31 pm
No intention of watching these older films, but i just LOVE watching james review them and his commentary is always on point!
October 2, 2013 at 11:45 pm
James…I have watched your shows for awhile but never created an account. That changed tonight due to your review nearly killing me. I mean it almost did kill me. I was eating while I watched the review and that mummy’s curse bit…I started laughing and nearly choked on my food. I would have died happy though…hilarious!
October 3, 2013 at 2:46 am
From the title, I was expecting a monkey’s paw kind of film. Still, an interesting film and a great episode. Keep it up James!
October 3, 2013 at 4:08 am
Is that Snix doing the intro?
October 3, 2013 at 6:56 am

October 5, 2013 at 12:12 am
This is fantastic! I love Monster Madness and your other film reviews. I like to skip a day so that I have 2 episodes to watch.
October 6, 2013 at 10:55 pm
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that Tom Tyler was the very first on-screen superhero in the 1941 serial “The Adventures of Captain Marvel.”
October 9, 2013 at 11:09 pm
Lol, I was expecting a scene with just the mummy’s hand killing someone after its been cut off- never happened >_<
October 10, 2013 at 9:54 pm
Frickin Love Avgn
Freakin’ Love AVGN
October 14, 2013 at 3:37 pm
Hm, yeah, it doesn’t seem to be a cool masterpiece like the first, but I do see a lot of fun and action here. It’s good to hear that it inspired the Brendan Fraser Mummy movies, because I quite enjoyed those! Gotta love the inspiration fpr Indiana Jones as well.
October 18, 2013 at 1:53 am
I’m really liking the “video store” setting, keep up the good work.
October 20, 2013 at 8:19 am
In that film the mummy actually have the most creepy face i believe.
December 15, 2013 at 4:49 am
