April 20, 2013 at 10:58 am
No wonder why he aged. THIS WAS 3 YEARS AFTER THE FURST FILM!
April 20, 2013 at 11:02 am
Lol the part with the beer was hilarious!
April 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm
Wow this reminds me a lot of a film series I made over the years with my friends called the Krokavitch about a weremonkey. We made it all the way to Krok 5. It’s really amazing that you have come so far with your movie making skills, just watching this makes me want to make another Krok movie. Maybe I will 🙂 You can watch the older one’s krok 1-3 on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCjiubxIM0w
April 20, 2013 at 11:07 am
I also wonder why he couldn’t take the mask to show the blonde dude?
April 20, 2013 at 11:46 am
3 years later? that is a huge difference
April 20, 2013 at 12:24 pm
I can relate to this video from a “behind the scenes” perspective. Every time I tried to make a movie I always had the same problem: Trying to keep the actors interested. Your friend looks like he just wanted to watch your TV (and drink your dad’s beer). You cleverly incorporated that into the plot, though. Fun little video. PS, your mustache is classic.
April 20, 2013 at 12:55 pm
Long live Snix! Loving the Six Snix Flix Saturdays at Snixemassacre. 😉
when james sees the mask up in the ceiling tile he says OH MY GOD!! just like in troll 2…except with LESS! yes LESS enthusiasm! LMAO!!!
April 20, 2013 at 1:07 pm
awesome, cant wait for the next one!
April 22, 2013 at 1:09 am
… James… You have not responded to anyones post yet… you must be busy. I hope all is well and good, you are truly an inspiration. I appreciate everything you and Mike do. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to Baby Nerd, congrats.
April 20, 2013 at 2:10 pm
This mask appearing up in the roof there… Now I know, what possesed that Mr. Bucket!
April 20, 2013 at 2:17 pm
It’s not working! It plays well for a few seconds and then, frame rate drops terribly.
It could be my connection, where not for the fact that I can watch youtube and netflix perfectly. I’m on Chrome for OSX (lastest version).
Please, please, give me a light. I’m dying to see the sequel!
April 20, 2013 at 2:21 pm
James’ mustache in the intro is amazing! Bring it back!
April 20, 2013 at 2:51 pm
Hello again I can honestly say this is better. I liked the joke of this movie. Gremlins 2 does do that but I like how you did it. The acting & editing are a big improvement over the original. In conclusion I wouldn’t mind watching this again.
April 20, 2013 at 2:59 pm
Congraturations (error intended) you have implemented real life into a film to make it plot wise.
Really fun sequel but somehow you downact the part, maybe you thought you overacted when you were a kid. The ending had some nice campy effects, they did give a lot.
April 20, 2013 at 3:19 pm
This is the funniest stuff I’ve seen in a while! XD
April 20, 2013 at 4:29 pm
happy birthdays ! celebration day 🙂
April 20, 2013 at 5:30 pm
Epic mustache! Could be nice to grow a new for an AVGN episode! 😀
April 20, 2013 at 8:00 pm
He grew one for “Fester’s Quest”.
April 20, 2013 at 6:24 pm
Thanks for sharing your beloved memories of your life with us James, i love all your videos so much!
April 20, 2013 at 7:30 pm
There’s the Nerd Television.
April 20, 2013 at 7:57 pm
lol angry mustache nerd
April 20, 2013 at 8:03 pm
You mentioned previously that we could make SNIX a cult thing. Maybe us fans could make our own cheezy home flicks? I can’t wait to see more the other four of six snix flicks, you know, to find out who the old guy is, what’s in the box, and why the mask is haunting you in particular!!
April 20, 2013 at 8:06 pm
I really hope that James and some others make a new Snix special for Cinemassacre.
April 20, 2013 at 10:11 pm
Just a random observation. You used to have Charlie Horse and Lamp Chop puppets? That’s cool! I still have mine but they are different from the ones you have in the videos. Will we see Hush Puppy next? I highly doubt but oh well. Good sequel.
April 20, 2013 at 11:42 pm
Love the Snix videos James! Especially the pre-commentary before each one. Can’t wait to see where it goes.
April 21, 2013 at 12:00 am
Hmmm interesting to watch this one. I know everything is overacted but damn I laughed when you were smiling almost at the beginning and you told the kid that it looked like a sock xD some ofthe humour was actually good, I laughed at “Look at the mask it’s right here in my hand…oh it disappeared” Yeah it was goofy humour but I still enjoyed it. It’s actually is like a thousand times better than the first one. But quoting yourself “That’s not saying much, that’s like saying the shit I took last night was better than the shit I took the day before”.
I’m looking forward to see the next ones to keep on track with your evolution as a film maker.
April 21, 2013 at 2:35 pm
A thousands time better then the first one ? Well look like you’re going to dress as Snix this Halloween .
April 21, 2013 at 12:59 am
Loved it. Lots of improvements in every aspect in comparison to the first and much less campy, but it works! I was pretty amazed with the disappearing effect cuts you were able to pull with 1996 technology. Much better pacing than the original too.
Can’t wait for the rest of the parts!
April 21, 2013 at 1:45 am
I love it!
April 21, 2013 at 4:33 am
Admit it James! You are building hype for your next movie after The AVGN movie!
April 21, 2013 at 7:11 am
very good. i really enjoyed it. better than paranormal activity.
April 21, 2013 at 8:16 am
Nobody wants to watch SNIX nerd. Bring back turtle tuesdays.
June 1, 2013 at 10:51 pm
Seems like a lot of people enjoyed it from reading the comments. I enjoyed it mostly because I can identify with it from videos and music that I made when I was around that age. I gladly admit my stuff wasn’t any good, but it’s still special to me. How would you feel about somebody criticizing your early creations and memories that are special to you like that?
April 21, 2013 at 12:14 pm
I like watching the SNIX movies and seeing how James has improved and matured in making film. The only shame is I have to wait a week for the next one.
April 21, 2013 at 1:43 pm
dat stache james <3
April 21, 2013 at 5:36 pm
Was that Rolfe’s sister?
April 21, 2013 at 5:42 pm
You’re joking right?
April 21, 2013 at 6:38 pm
I wonder if the kids who acted in this know that know its being put on Cinemassacre for the whole world to see. Great movie though, can’t wait for the next part.
April 21, 2013 at 6:51 pm
Well that was pretty intense.
April 21, 2013 at 7:41 pm
I wonder if Mr. Bucket and Dream Phone are inhabited by the spirit of Snix… hmmmmmm
April 21, 2013 at 7:49 pm
James with that mustache the is the most terrifying thing in this video.
April 21, 2013 at 8:51 pm
You can hear a baby in the backround for some parts in this.
April 21, 2013 at 8:52 pm
Pedobear approves of the mustache.
April 22, 2013 at 12:59 am
Awesome stuff! I love it!
April 22, 2013 at 5:05 am
That Brian Genk dude has the most awesome last name! The reason here for is that I grew up in a Belgian city called Genk, hell yeah!! 😉
April 22, 2013 at 8:46 am
April 22, 2013 at 2:06 pm
Hehe, James knew he’d take a lot of shit if he didn’t explain why the month it took to make Snix only had 4 days in it.
April 22, 2013 at 2:35 pm
WHAT THA HECK IS THAT!?
April 22, 2013 at 2:47 pm
Snix is not as bad as the other kid. He was just throwing a sock at him, then the other kid cut him with a knife…
April 22, 2013 at 3:02 pm
Poor Snix. He just runs after James, probably to get this papermask removed, and is constantly beaten up, or gets a stick in the eye, being hunted down by ghosts, and gets beaten up again with a plastic sword. He’s like a Human-Pinata…
April 22, 2013 at 4:14 pm
Much better than the original, although I’m not sure that’s saying much, lol. I laughed a few times during this. Very entertaining, James. Looking forward to the rest.
April 22, 2013 at 9:03 pm
his voice cracks in this one
April 22, 2013 at 9:08 pm
this reminds me of a paranormal style of cinematogrophy
April 23, 2013 at 3:53 am
I’m sure I’m not the only one, but I am thoroughly entertained by the Snix movies. It reminds me of when I was a kid, just running around with friends and playing “pretend” or whatever. It’s just a lot of fun to see these kinds of things from someone who is currently successful. Also, I’d like to suggest that for these comment sections reversing the order in which the pages are displayed, so having the comments display from most recent to oldest instead of oldest to most recent. Just something I find to be a slight annoyance.
April 23, 2013 at 2:42 pm
April 23, 2013 at 5:56 pm
this is diarrhea.
April 23, 2013 at 7:12 pm
Rockin the Porn Stash! Awesome.
April 24, 2013 at 3:07 am
You had me at 12 seconds.
April 24, 2013 at 10:09 am
Oh my gosh, this makes me wanna see a Snix FPS. haha.
So much gold. Especially the part in the intro when you took off your glasses all pensively. I thought I was gonna cry laughing! I love how half the dialogue is “Aw Man!” and “Oh no!”.
So horribly awesome.
April 25, 2013 at 6:24 am
Lol I laughed so much with this! haha! Bring in the next one
June 29, 2013 at 4:41 am
October 4, 2013 at 10:47 pm
September 7, 2014 at 3:04 pm
The thing in the box was a deluxe edition of the CD-I Batman & Robin.
October 14, 2015 at 4:31 am
Am I the only one that likes the mustache ??
