Cinemassacre live event in Philadelphia this Friday

James / September 27th, 2011

Project Twenty1 is busy running their film festival and they happened to have one screening that got cancelled, so they asked me to fill that time slot with whatever I want (This friday). Otherwise, it would literally be a blank screen. Nobody has ever paid admission to face a blank screen. I’ve been to the movies thousands of times and that’s never occurred, man. So I’ll be showing The Deader the Better and other Cinemassacre HORROR films! Let’s bring in the Halloween season. All the videos I’ll be showing are already available online, but if you want to come see them on a large screen, here’s your chance. I’ll be there and may even hang out at the party afterwards. So come by and celebrate the coming of October!

Dammit James that American Movie quote made me spit a little chocolate milk on my keyboard. Regardless, right on man sounds like fun.

I hope this event brings another video like the TMNT pizza taste test party, just a lot of people hanging around having fun.

The Deader the Better may be more true to horror movies and this upcoming Monster Madness, but I personally like Legend of the Blue Hole way more. Those two would be perfect on one of the next DVD releases after Cinematic Catastrophes… so many outtakes/commentary/making of footage to include.

DAMMIT JAMES THIS BLOWS!!! I live in Haddonfield and I can’t make it this friday because friday is normally when my girlfriend and I get a break from school and work to hang out…FAWK!!! >_<…i should some how sneak over and say we're going to south street or something and "stumble across" this XD But i dont think that'll work. Oh well, if you're around the area please announce because I'm a huge fan (as we all are) and when i see these videos it reminds me a lot of my childhood memories. I think that's one of the biggest things that keeps me going to your page. While it's the humor and entertainment value and time and effort put into your work and the passion you have for films and games that I love, it's more so the nostalgic feelings i get when i see these things that were apart of our past and generation that when you get a few friends together and you bring them up, everyone gets excited to talk about them just as much as we were excited to fulfill our childhood actions. So thanks for always bringing that back to me and never making it a lost memory.
