James and Kevin visit one of the most famous film locations
May 19, 2011 at 6:41 am
Wow it is amazing just about no-one ever filmed there 😉
May 19, 2011 at 7:15 am
The second I saw the picture I was like, Bill and Ted!
May 19, 2011 at 7:33 am
You have to film there because it ISN’T original! That is awesome.
May 19, 2011 at 8:27 am
Makes me think of where Kirk battles the Gorn.

May 19, 2011 at 9:11 am

TJ films, you need to stop posting shameful plugs, yeah i understant your enthusiasm, i watched your video, and transformers is not a superhero film, and catwoman is a villan of gotham not a superhero, to me your screen pressence as a reviewer seemed really bland and as though you havn’t studied the films, you’ve just gone upon internet based knowledge of these films and criteria, not the way to go, study each film, all of it’s aspects regarding to any aspect applicable to cinema.
that being said, good luck in the future, hope you do well.
May 19, 2011 at 10:37 am
Ahhhh ok… That’s why we didn’t get an AVGN episode this month… Good luck with your movie!
May 19, 2011 at 10:39 am
at least you’re enjoying the travels…..
May 19, 2011 at 11:02 am
That mountain top kinda remind me of a scene from 1955’s Tarantula where the two main characters were attacked by large rocks from the giant spider.
May 19, 2011 at 2:42 pm
omg so much bull just gimme E.T.
May 19, 2011 at 2:58 pm
I’d love to see you do a compilation vid of all the films and TV shows which use this location! I’ve just been searching around for one on youtube but no ones made one.
May 19, 2011 at 3:16 pm
Are you scouting for *gasp* The AVGN movie?!?!?
May 19, 2011 at 3:48 pm
And there was me hoping for a tribute to Vasquez from Aliens.
“No, have you?”
May 19, 2011 at 4:25 pm
It would be funny if James fights someone in that movie scene and his shirt rips like Kirks’…too funny.
It would be even funnier if Mike makes a mortar cannon out of bamboo in that same scene.
May 19, 2011 at 6:15 pm
where is the thumb button?! made my night
May 19, 2011 at 6:57 pm
just a couple
May 19, 2011 at 7:55 pm
Did you make it to Bronson Canyon? I’d love to see you guys coming out of the cave!
May 19, 2011 at 8:13 pm
Yeah… that’s… wow
May 19, 2011 at 8:25 pm
Hell yeah Vasquez from Aliens!!!!! Jenette Goldstein told me that “Woflie’s FINE!!!!”
May 19, 2011 at 9:12 pm
giantmeme, I believe there WAS a video about Bronson case, now that you mention it!
May 19, 2011 at 9:13 pm
When Chris Columbus “discovered” America there were already people and civilizations all over the place, so I guess you are the Christopher Columbuses of Vasquez.
May 20, 2011 at 1:40 am
Did anyone ever use the Wilhelm Scream for a scene filmed at Vasquez Rocks? : )
May 20, 2011 at 7:04 am
All those asswhipes that complain about a new avgn….learn how to read. A while back James said the Steven Spielberg AVGN will be the last one before a big break. He takes this break to focus on other projects and the AVGN movie.
May 20, 2011 at 9:38 am
A beautiful scene at Vasquez Rocks Guys! I cant wait to see everything you guys are gonna do! :3
May 20, 2011 at 9:50 am
z_thompson thats cave not case
May 20, 2011 at 11:33 am
I live about 20 mins from there…been there many many times….its a cool place to hang out. Such weird terrain…always funny when I see it in movies and shows!
May 20, 2011 at 1:52 pm
Whenever I think of this place, Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey is always one of the first films to come to mind. Which is awesome, but kind of sad that it outweighs so many other options.
May 20, 2011 at 10:48 pm
yeah, i know that it was featured in a video, and it would be a cool addendum to that one if they had a shot of them in it as well as all the movie, tv and batman spots the included.
now i gotta find that video…
May 21, 2011 at 3:13 pm
That was pretty funny
May 22, 2011 at 11:54 pm
Never been there; but I was wondering if it’s possible to shoot from a different location in the same aria. Seems like we get the same shots over and over again.
May 31, 2011 at 2:09 pm
Always wondered what Kevin Finn was like aside from the Ninja and the Glitch Gremlin.
Movie will be great no doubt about it! I hope us hardcore fans from the UK will see the movie in theatre.

That location always instantly makes me think of the Command Center in Power Rangers. I’ll always remember those rocks.
July 14, 2011 at 4:58 pm
Popular place for Power Rangers
July 23, 2011 at 3:25 pm
Hey, whatever works, heh.
August 8, 2011 at 4:05 pm
Brilliant!! I was there but yestreen, too many rocks at once it seems. I was there with a piece of pie, but then I fell, oh me oh my.
September 21, 2011 at 7:19 pm
you need a wind shield. A small piece of cardboard tapped near the microphone will help greatly with this.
April 1, 2013 at 4:32 am
2 years since your last location tour??????????
August 19, 2015 at 4:57 pm
Who else read every single one?
