10 Year Anniversary

James / April 8th, 2010

Welcome to the new site! Let’s take a look back at how evolved in the past 10 years.

Version 1 (2000-2003)

In the beginning, things were extremely basic. I was on a dialup internet connection and it was way before YouTube. My movies were still being distributed on VHS tapes. Having the ability to actually “upload” them to the internet was unheard of. For now, all I had was a written filmography and a gallery of stills to represent my films to the outside world.

Version 2 (2003-2008)

Lots of stuff happened. The major innovation was being able to upload videos, but they were only as quicktime files. Then Youtube happened. Then the Nerd happened. The rest is history. As the site got more advanced, it got more frustrating to keep up with.

Version 3 (2008-2010)

In response to the frustration, my web designer Ryan came to make my life easier. With additional help from Mike Matei, we all worked together and launched the new Cinemassacre. There were too many advancements to count. Making blog posts was easier and the fans were finally able to leave comments.

Version 4 (2010)

You’re now looking at it! It took a lot of work and frustration from all us, but it will make organizing videos much easier. Hopefully, it’ll also be easier for you all to dig up some of the old videos that have been buried on the site. We are still tweaking things, and have a bit of work to do, but for the most part, it’s up and running.

Great adventure those ten years !

I’ve been here, I believe… since 2006 or 2007, I’m not sure, well the point is, as long as the site is here, I’ll come around, too many great memories.

Good anniversary, and my conglaturations (^^) for everything !

you guys kick ass. thanks for keeping up the website and supplying the entertainment. james, i will always watch your material. i have been a retro gamer/movie lover for a long time and you have shown me a lot of cool things i didn’t know about through your videos. i live in michigan, and am finally getting off unemployment, as soon as i have some $$$ to spare i will definitely be looking to purchase the Vol. 3 DVD. i am psyched for whatever you have coming down the road, whether it be AVGN, board james, movie reviews, commentaries, everything you do is so awesome and you are the man! i wish you the best.

CINEMASSACRING refers to the efficient way in which my films are made, without a ton of equipment or pre-production meetings, ignoring all the extraneous things that happen behind the camera, when all that matters is what comes up on the screen, at the end.

THE CINEMASSACRE is the spiritual lifeforce; the unstoppable driving power behind my work; the pure insanity to make these wild films. When the obstacles are stacking up and it looks like there is no way to finish a project, I just go on a rampage and “cinemassacre” my way to the end.

TO CINEMASSACRE is to let loose with what you’re doing. In doubt? Just “cinemassacre” it, the same way a crazy artist would splatter paint all over his work and let the art gods take control.

THE CINEMASSACRE is me; my one-man production company which I started when I first got my hands on a video camera, in 1989, making over 100 short movies that “massacre” both Hollywood and Independent trends, but with one main purpose: to entertain.

Your site is sexy as hell, but you still put the “fuck” in “i want to fuck you badly James”

    GREAT LAYOUT, Loving the changes!!!!

  • ttrembly

    April 8, 2010 at 9:15 pm

Congrats, James! Your videos have inspired me to make videos, and even buy a retro-gaming console. Keep up the good work!

  • BlueGemini

    April 8, 2010 at 9:17 pm

Wow! I never saw the version 1 and 2. I just known James’ Cinemassacre around 2008.

Regarding the new layout of your site, its nice! I haven’t explored that much but so far I find it more easier to navigate. Two thumbs up for the designers of the web =) I’m actually pursuing to be a Web Designer and your new site gave me some inspiration.

Keep up the good work, guys especially James. I always love your videos. your AVGN shows is actually the one that pulled me here coz obviously I’m a gamer. Although I’m not a big fan of movies, but your movie reviews are really entertaining and also informative (especially to those old movies and some movies that I never knew that its was already a remake of the old =) ) oh yeah almost forgot your Board James show. I also love that Brings me back to the times I’m still fond of playing board games.

Thank you very much for all videos!

  • Karoomay

    April 8, 2010 at 9:18 pm

It’s definitely easier to navigate through the website but I will miss seeing the pictures on the navigation bar. Now there’s plain old boring text. It was more lively, colorful, and interesting with the old navigation bar.

  • April 8, 2010 at 9:25 pm

It looks better, but it is miss some nice features like the AVGN Videos Full List that made it really easy to find a specific AVGN video. Now you just have some ugly list with no title cards and too many pages.

    April 8, 2010 at 9:26 pm

I remember when I first got a computer back in the day and stumbled across this legendary heaven of entertainment on the internet. I can not believe that it was 2001. I remember looking at the pictures and synopsis you would put up, it really inspired me to go out and release that creative side. Never would I of guessed back then however, that three years later you would come along and create some of the most genius content that I have seen on the internet. Your videos got me through university, and will continue providing for my entertainment needs. You sir are a legend, your videos are legendary and I can not wait for all the beasty ass things you have in store for us. I love the AVGN but I am ever waiting for more of your feature length films.
A toast to another decade of the Legendary James Rolfe!!!

  • April 8, 2010 at 9:27 pm

Looks pretty good now. Great improvement all around. The background also looks great on widescreen monitors, and the color scheme is in line with the older sites but still looks amazing.

The changes are awesome, but the most important thing is it’s still a great distraction from actually working.

    April 8, 2010 at 9:29 pm

Cinemassacre just got better. And I think all the fans like the new layout.
Thanks James, Mike, Ryan and other possible persons who worked on the new version.

Congratulations, and I hope Cinemassacre live another 10 years and more πŸ™‚

Congratulations James! I remember the first time I ever heard of you. I was on youtube and I ran into AVGN SPIDERMAN. I watched it and I laughed my ass of! So then I watched FRIDAY THE 13th, the THE POWER GLOVE. Finally, I was watching every AVGN I could find. Then I discovered Cinemassacre and saw your other work. I’ve been a fan ever since. Thanks for all the entertainment! And congrats once again!

  • April 8, 2010 at 9:39 pm

I approve evrry nut & bolt of this new version! Keep up the good work!

  • Putts

    April 8, 2010 at 9:40 pm

Loving the new layout, James. My one complaint is that there’s only 7 videos listed page now (in the AVGN backlog, at least)…you used to be able to click on, say, 2008 and see every video for 2008 on a single page, now it’s split across 4 pages. A relatively minor complaint, though…keep up the good work!

    April 8, 2010 at 9:41 pm

    April 8, 2010 at 9:41 pm

Congratulations1 (instead on episode of AVGN, Ghostbusters on NES that said “Conglaturation!!!” ) James, when you was in 2000, there is no YouTube exist and it is too slow because it was in Web 1.0. On 2003, Web 2.0 exist! It is a fastest internet and it ever exist such as Flickr from Yahoo! so you using in QuickTime (actually I have one with iTunes on my PC) but it exist the YouTube so you don’t know about “Upload” before? On 2008, you leave to that sie “” (Note: This is a dead link so, it redirects to a new Cinemassacre so don’t click that link) and you have a makeover with comment feature so we can leave a comment to James. So, happy 10th anniversary of!

  • April 8, 2010 at 9:42 pm

Wow, really nice upgrade to the site here.

  • April 8, 2010 at 9:42 pm

I discovered cinemassacre 2 years ago when i watched the spider-man avgn episode, the rest is history.

This site is getting better and better, and you too, James, keep the excellent work!!!!

  • Karoomay

    April 8, 2010 at 9:45 pm

    @ Mike Matei
Oh wow, I never expected to get reply from James’ best friend. Anyways, I guess the large video images will substitute the old navigation bar, and the new layout does make Cinemassacre look more badass!

  • April 8, 2010 at 9:46 pm

Have to agree with the Wide Screen monitor comment. No problems finding anything. Love the membership and comment forums, they complete the site. Happy 10 years Cinemassacre.

  • April 8, 2010 at 11:54 pm

I like the new layout, but I still prefer the old one. The 3rd version was great for blog posts, and I love reading your blog posts. I’m not saying the new version is bad, but I still prefer the old one.

  • Doomreaper

    April 9, 2010 at 12:30 am

Looks good but personaly, I think a little colour would look good on the roll over of the icons at the top right of the page, gray to gray is just a little gray dont you think ?

  • Doomreaper

    April 9, 2010 at 12:38 am

Also i have to agree with lander77477 the AVGN section is not as convenient, having to click through several pages insted of just being able to scan one page is a pain.

  • Jono-666-

    April 9, 2010 at 12:40 am

The new layout is alright. It’s cool and modern looking, however I’m not yet used to it. Being a fan of nostalgia and all, I miss the old layout. This new one is less visually interesting and stimulating too. I liked how before you could see the videos along with a still screenshot on the player, so you knew what you were going to watch if you didn’t recognize it from the title alone. The other layout was perfect in It’s simplicity and practicality, but oh well. I guess things change. Maybe with time, it will grow on me.

  • Jono-666-

    April 9, 2010 at 12:42 am

…but yeah, in all honesty, I miss the old one. I think it was much better.

  • Jono-666-

    April 9, 2010 at 12:50 am

Oh, one last thing. Under the ” You know whats bullshit” category. The episodes are numbered but they have no description about the subject matter. I wanted to show a friend one of those videos in particular, but I was forced to load them all using trial and error before I found the right one. I’m pretty sure on the old page, it said “pennies, printers, pay toilets” ect.

I don’t mean to be a complainer or anything, and I know you guys are still working out the kinks, but I’m bringing this to your attention just in case you weren’t aware of it.

I don’t want to see the new layout become something that a fan will have to make a “You know whats bullshit” video about. HAH!

Anyway, take care and PS (bring back the old layout!)

  • Derium

    April 9, 2010 at 12:51 am

The one thing I can’t find is play times. On previous version you could see play times on older videos, not for the newest ones, but now I can’t even see them! Now I have to go open the video, wait it to load enough so I can see how long it lasts. You don’t always have time to watch longer episodes so you’d like to pick a short episode and watch it before you have to leave. But now I have to open video, wait it to load, look how long it is and then notice I don’t have time to watch that. Then after few tries I don’t have time to watch any episodes!

Play times. You don’t know when they are important.

Today is a very happy day, Cinemassacre gets a new layout, my first time ever having straight A’s besides at the beginning of the semester, and Pokemon Black and Pokemon White versions are announced. I don’t know how this day could get better………

I remember when I first seen your site way back it was one of the first I put into my “Favorites”. I thought it was pretty unique back then because no other site was like that that I knew of. You really are dedicated to your work.

Back then I remember thinking to myself “This website can go one of two ways” hahaha…always knew something positive would happen though.

wordpress was a very very good idea. site works a lot better than it did. Feels a lot more professional now.

  • Invisible_XXI

    April 9, 2010 at 3:17 am

to be honest: the menu is better now. the version before it wasnt obvious that you could click on the image beneath your logo.

but now the main content is somehow confusing! why are there 2 columns with content?? and i dont really get, whats going on beneath the menu…

it looks like there is content in a row from left to right? but beneath that, there is the same content but in columns??! πŸ˜›

    thats a very confusing layout!
iΒ΄d suggest, you do the menu as it is now.
only one column with the main content.
and maybe a second column on the right with different information.

the 2 columns have to be clearly seperated from each other.
now its just all thrown together somehow.

  • Invisible_XXI

    April 9, 2010 at 3:21 am

another suggestion: kill the right column completely and add pictures to the normal blog entries on the left column again.

and iΒ΄d kill the row beneath the menu too. or at least mark it as a special area, maybe with a different background colour, a title, 2 speration lines, or something like that.

To be honest you could upload videos years ago, some people used quicktime but there was this Technology Called Vivo back then which was a very compressed format that didn’t look any bad, I actually downloaded full anime series in that format back in the day, over a Dial Up Network! it was awesome, so sad I didn’t knew your site back in the day maybe I could have told you about that.

I don’t like the new Version. iPhone does not support mouse over menus. So i can’t watch any moves =(

    April 9, 2010 at 7:17 am

    Let me explain :
Imagine I want to see the michael jackson’s moonwalker episode.

With the old site, I go on the cinemassacre site, click on the AVGN section, a full list of the episode appear. All I have to know is if the episode is more on the begining, the middle or the end of the list. Of course the list was long, but within a week I get used to it, and it take me between 30 and 60 sec to find my video.

With the new site, I go on cinemassacre, put my mouse on the AVGN section in order to click, and what the fuck ?
2010, 2009, 2008,… Are you kidding me, Am i supposed to learn by heart each release date of the 89 episode ?
I’ve discovered AVGN 4 weeks ago, it’s like if you say “ok man, you want to be an AVGN fan, so you have 4 weeks to learn the realease date of all the episode. If you want to be a fan, you’ve got to be hardcore, yeah” .

But I still want to see my video. Thanks to god a cool guy create a wikipedia page with a full list of the episode, so I find the realease date, click on the fuckin’ 2009 section, and here we are.
So, winter games, no, castelvania series, no, go down, go down, and…
page 1 !? What is this shit ! only 7 video on a page. Guy, I have a little internet connection and pages takes forever to load.
So page 1, no, page 2, no, page 3, no, so It will be on page 4 (or the wiki list contains mistakes), yeah page 4, my video, but wait, only one video on this page, what the fuck ? What the point of create a page for only one video, could you not just put 8 video on page 3 ?
What were you thinking ?! So I finally find my video after around five minutes of fight with the new site (It’s like beat an old shitty game). Not to metion, I will have to do all this shit again if I want to see another video.
Thanks guy, what an improvement, we go from 30 sec with the old site to 5 minutes with the new.

The Angry “AVGN” Nerd (yes you’re angry against nintendo for their shitty games, I’m angry against you for your shitty site).

PS : Don’t take it too seriously, I just try to write something in the nerd style. I still love your work (and sorry for the mistake, I’m french).

  • Bailey_Bat

    April 9, 2010 at 9:17 am

Well, of course, congratulations on the success and whatnot. That much needs to be said and kudos given where they belong…

…But I kinda have to join the bandwagon on this one in saying that I preferred the 3rd version better as the navigation was perfect. My biggest issue with the new site is that for whatever reason, when using Firefox, the site botches itself all up. For example, the mouse-over menus are crossing over themselves and every new video has “You know what’s Bullshit” taking up 10% of it’s preview icon picture. Perhaps these are a few things you could look into. Otherwise, best of luck!

    April 9, 2010 at 9:17 am

    Hi James,
I really appreciate your continuing efforts to make the site more appealing to the fans. However, in this version of the site it is rather confusing to find specific videos. I guess it would make it a lot easier if you guys could display all videos of a certain year on one page.
You might also think about rearranging the navigation at the top to make the particular buttons more distinct.
Other than that mentioned, I like the new website.
Please keep up the awesome work on AVGN, the movie reviews and the Bullshit episodes.
    Best regards, anykey.

    April 9, 2010 at 9:25 am

The design is awesome, however it takes forever to find your AVGN movies. You realy need to do something about it !

  • April 9, 2010 at 9:32 am

If anyone would actually like to visit the old sites you can go to and where it says waybackmachine type in “” and you will see abunch of dates from 2003-2008 where they can show you what it looked like.

  • TheHidden

    April 9, 2010 at 9:35 am

    Yeah, change is bad. /sarcasm.

@ All having problems locating the videos. I don’t know about you, but when i type the video’s topic into the site’s searchbar, i’m pretty much able to locate it instantaneously.

Also: I have no layout problems under Firefox 3.6.3, the site “behaves” wonderfully.

That aside, i really like the new version, it’s a bit sleeker now than before, and you got actually more content on the main page now. So, continue your good work.

  • April 9, 2010 at 9:39 am

Hey James! Congrats on the 10 years. For about six months I ve been getting caught up on all your stuff. I got through ALL the AVGN vids then moved to you know whats bullshit, a few movie reviews, board james and just recently caught up with the NC vs. AVGN thing. I know its Late but I was relatively new to your site, so give me a break. Your stuff is a great mix of entertainment and facts. I love the recent board james with your homemade games. Any way keep up the great work and can’t wait to see what 2010 hold in store.

I started watching AVGN around early 2008, so I’ve seen v2-4. As a web designer myself, I really like how your site has progressed. Both visually and accessibility wise the site has improved greatly. Keep up the great work, and happy 10th anniversary!

  • AshburnAvenue

    April 9, 2010 at 1:50 pm

hey, in general i like the new site, but there is sth i really dont like. i watch a cinemassacre video nearly every day (especially avgn), so my problem is the new navigation through the videos. on the previous version of the website i opened a year of the nerd videos and all episodes where shown and i could choose one. now there are 4 pages and i have to navigate through them. thats really annoying. we all have fast internet connections, there is no need in divide it in 4 pages. this site sucks my spider-balls!

The new layout was definitely a bit awkward at first, but I’m sure it will be more organized in the long run! One change I liked was making the Cinemassacre logo at the top link back to the front page. Pretty much every other website does it and it’s one of those little things that you notice when it’s not there! Keep up the good work!

the new design looks quite more professional and monolithic (im not sure if thats the correct word in this context) than the old design. but i like the old logo’s like the ond of board james. why dont u keep it? as the header of the different categories eg =)

congratz to ur 10th anniversary anyway πŸ˜€

btw: im a new user of this is there anything like a forum or something? cause i dont wanna post my questions in the comments section they are not supposed to be there. is it planned that there will be such a thing?
so i hope this will remain the only time i did ask an off topic question ^^

  • April 9, 2010 at 4:26 pm

    @Mike Matei

thank you for the response (wow, a response of mike matei, πŸ™‚ ). having all videos on one page is good and works for me, cos i know all videos. but what about people who dont know all videos? i mean for me this is like scul said a step back, cos now i have to scroll a alot, have to think a lot (think back which link means which episode). the old version was so clean and simple. one icon and one link for every episode, one site for every year. easy to use, good for new and old fans. but now i have to scroll 4 or 5 pages. this is really annoying. i like to watch a nerd episode nearly every day and it was never diffictult to choose one, cos there was always a nice overview. but that overview is gone. again: we all have a fast internet connection. there is no need in dividing the videos in 4 or 5 pages. before we had a grid with all videos, simple and perfect, now we have to scroll through 4 pages. i dont like that.
i design websites myself. i know the feeling of a new site and when you think you do sth which is better than the original. but in that case, it doesent work. it was much better the old way. (and really, i just talk about the navigation through the videos. i like the new social-networks-bar and all that stuff, but plz, go back to that overview of the videos, it was much better than the stuff we have right now)

  • April 9, 2010 at 4:43 pm

NIce work on the site guys my computer has been down for a few days and when I came to this site I was astonished of the great changes!!

    good stuff.

First off I just wanted to say the layout is great. Everything looks professional as people have said before. I also appreciate the links at the top to facebook, twitter, spike, etc. One thing that’s killing me though (and i’m not sure if this was already mentioned) is the fact that my live feeds in firefox no longer update with this new site. I used to be able to know when there were updates without visiting the site and now i get an error that live bookmarks are unable to load. Hopefully this will be addressed as you guys work to improve the site. otherwise nice job!

  • Redo

    April 9, 2010 at 6:24 pm

Needs a way to sort the comments, and the “newer/older” comment buttons need to be on top so I can quickly tab through the comments. A way to “view all” comments would be nice too if possible.

Outside of some of the comment interface, I think the overall interface is fantastic.

    Hello. Like the new design.

I think you guys should directly link “Full List of AVGN Videos,” if possible, to the blog rather than the “blog list” it is linked to now. A blog list is really unnecessary if there is only going to be that one blog for that section.

  • April 9, 2010 at 8:01 pm

  • April 9, 2010 at 10:34 pm

    @ Karoomay

yeah dude, the avatars are awesome. i think the new website kicks ass. i don’t know why people are complaining. i have been following james since 2006 and there’s a lot of old material i have come across on here that i haven’t seen in a long time, or at all for that matter. i don’t know if it was hidden in the depths of the old layout, or if it was just unavailable for awhile… but now it’s just sooo easy to find great stuff… plus we can all comment and talk about everything!

one problem with the new site from the old is the fact that you stop having all the videos on the one page for that year to now multiple pages, which is the biggest pain. could you change it so you just have one list for each year.

    April 10, 2010 at 1:00 pm

Like the new site it looks cool and I’m sure it will function more fluidly when the kinks are worked out. But I do have 2 complaints. need a filmography list like the last site. 1 big list chronologicaly of all your video’s. It was so easy and because of it I belive I’ve seen every video. its harder to see whats new this way or if I missed something.
    2. whats with the member passwords. it looks like something you would shred in an avgn bit. its 12 characters long has capital/lower case letters and numbers. I had a cpital O that I thought was a zero and it took me 4 attempts to even log on. I love what you do its awsome. but you can’t make fun of something and then make an equivalent password system on your site.

  • Tristan Rolfe

    April 10, 2010 at 1:18 pm

yea the hole website is awsome but the only prob is……. none there is not only no problems but this is a great site A+ is presintation and i love the AVGN he is funny as hell also rate ET or DOOM. ps happy matramony or marrage GO SEE PLAN 9!

  • RobMetalCheese

    April 10, 2010 at 1:26 pm

Um, I don’t know if it’s just me having these problems, but I can’t see any pictures in the blog posts, and the blip videos posted on this site don’t seem to work either… Hope you’ll fix it soon, I guess.

  • April 10, 2010 at 3:07 pm

    Great! πŸ™‚

  • kyle

    April 10, 2010 at 3:20 pm

A good tip is to put the AVGN episodes in 2 or 3 columns so you don’t have to scroll up and down to find the episodes. If you have to scroll up and down to find something your eye becomes iritated. The old style is way better when it comes to finding things. However the new page looks much nicer, which is a step up πŸ™‚

Yeah yeah yeah, this is great, but I wanna see new stuffs Mr Rolfe.
My friends and I wanna see more creativ stuffs from your brain ! This is Cinemassacre not Disney !
Wanna heard about new projects, papers, short stories… wanna see
your short films in festivals and maybe one day in my theater. Yeah that’s right, in Belgium !

And I’m also bored about the “You gave a sens to my live James…” “You’re just like me…” “OMG I love ya so much…” and “would you like to be my father please?…” comments that i’m tired to see everytime I’m on this web site. Maybe Avgn and Cinemassacre should not be twist.

I like the new website and all..but i seem to like the old one because its more user friendly or in other words easier to use. Another issue is all the old comments were deleted..and well they all contributed to this site and I think there comments should deserve to be up there ( I don’t know much about renewing a website or anything so please forgive me if there is no way to recover the old comments). But other than that the site looks fantastic and I can find all your old videos a lot easier like you said. πŸ˜€

    April 11, 2010 at 3:21 pm

It’s just me or the first logo looks awfully like a penis?

It has balls (okay, it’s on the other side, but still) and it is even dripping.

Anyway, happy birthday Cinemassacre. I’ve come to know this site thanks to the Nerd, but nowadays I love almost everything in the site, especially the movie reviews. James has a great taste for movies, he’s not too picky or pretentious, nor he is too pedestrian. Just perfect!

But, still… Long live the Nerd!

I initially had a panic attack when the site changed and I thought I was gonna hate it, but it’s already starting to grow on me. You made some good choices in the change.

  • April 12, 2010 at 2:19 am

It certainly is alot easier because everyone can now see all of you’re links on where to find you on the internet instead of having to constantly ask you or many of you’re fans or Mike where they can find you.

Also, we don’t have to go and search through pages and pages of other stuff just to find the 1 blog post or video that we want to see, and everything is now all conveniently organized like it should be so we can find things very easily!

Very awesome re-design of the site James πŸ˜€

  • April 12, 2010 at 11:41 am

This new layout will take some getting used to, but I already like it better than the old one. Heh, your first Cinemassacre logo looks like it has Mickey Mouse ears :] A good graphic designer might be able to make you an even better logo than you have now, but the current one is still decent.

  • SynisterCG

    April 12, 2010 at 12:48 pm

I like the new layout I just wish that when you click the links at the top of the page for example AVGN instead of clicking on years and going through pages you get every video on one big page but thats just me.

Wow the new layout is just awesome. I liked the previous one but this just beats it all. Gorgeous design and easy to find everything. Very well done!
One minor thing in the end tho: a Forum would be cool πŸ™‚

  • 80sMade

    April 13, 2010 at 4:26 am

    Lovin the new look James!

Still think your more die hard fans like myself would love a FORUM but I know how that can be a big pain in the ass to run and maintain.

All in all I’m diggin the new layout, it’s alot e-z’er to get around to some of your older non-AVGN vids.

    You know whats bullshit?:

    – commercial before the youtube – video start!!!!
    – its the same that dvd comercials – fck this

i know its not the problem of thi site but youtube and other video platforms sucks in last time, and how long it takes to upload a simple video.

  • Strawhat_

    April 13, 2010 at 9:01 am

and worse this little popups that blocks your view. hate this
and when you start the video again it shows you again the stupid comercial all over again.

One thing I did like on the old site though was having the runtimes for videos… Could chuck it after the rest of the video info in the video list screens

sir, what will it take for you to dedicate some time to the sms? id happily donate some f’n RETARDED/RIDICULOUS games if that would help (ive got about 30 games, some of which ive beaten & dont really want any more). clearly you were a nintendo kid, as your old nerd-name suggested, & so was i but we had the sms too & me & my brothers would fight over which console would be plugged into our tv in the game room.
remember when youd rent a game at the local video store for the weekend! i remember getting the sms in ’87 & it still works to this day. i’ll recon around the rest of this sexy new site of yours to see if there’s a p.o. box i can send them to…….but i guess that leads me back to my above question. also, i second what i read above about how yall have truly put a fu<kload of effort into all this & it's certainly appreciated. every time you put up a new video i link it on my fb profile & my friends usually comment how they never knew about like…….the jaguar console. guess they just aint as old school as us.
out of all your reviews, the only 1 i ever disliked was the top 10 bad guys, but i already said my piece on how terribly dissappointing that sh!t<unt was on SAs site.

oh, i forgot, the ninja GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYden episode really was the funniest avgn episode ever & yall really took it to the next level with all the thumb-strengthening techniques!!!!! it was so unexpected & there were so many of them, i just couldnt stop laughing! i watched it like 4 times in a row then went & showed some gamer friends in my barracks (i was deployed in iraq until mid january) who then wanted me to show other friends & next thing you know i had almost 3 whole platoons of guys in our war room watching it on full screen! guys were laughing so hard that theyd leave & go get other guys who’d come in & start watching & say “rewind it to the beginning, i gotta see the whole thing now!” & then on replays, i remember 1 guy saying “SHUT THE FU<K UP, you gotta watch this part!" when a guy walked in & started asking what we were doing in the middle of the video. word of mouth man, as old school as you can get.

Exactly how do u make the website? Did u look for a host, or did u download a Website software?

  • November 8, 2012 at 10:02 pm

Been coming since version 2. I have to admit, I think version 3 was my favorite. Not that version 4 is bad, I’m sure logistically its better and makes more sense, but from an aesthetic standpoint, I think version 3 was the very best.

  • December 31, 2012 at 5:50 pm

Wow.. No One has commented anything in a while.

The AVGN movie will be out in less than a year.

And the website now has another layout starting today…
