I used to rent horror movies off the shelf at video stores just because their covers were creepy. This was one of the first ones I rented. Ahh, the good old days of VHS horror. (=

I actually kinda like this movie: it’s really good if your in the right mood!
October 4, 2010 at 9:11 am
1982 was a fucking kicks ass year for horror films. I see 3 on this list, and I think that’s the most of any year on your lists.
Still there were so many horror films made in 1982, and I don’t know if there’s one I don’t like lol.
LMAO! I remember renting this film back in 1985 when I was 9.
I can’t believe I don’t own this film LMMFAO! Fuck it, I’m buying this shit today lol!
October 28, 2010 at 8:17 pm
Lol, so this is what you were referring to in your Sega CD review. xDD
January 20, 2011 at 7:25 am
I really liked this review so I bought it and watched it with my friends. Thanks for not mentioning the rape scene, it made for quite and awkward moment when the lump of flesh was humping the dead girl. Mutant Siamese-twin necrophilia, it was truly messed up. Apart from that it was great and I really enjoyed your view on the movie.

YES THANK YOU JAMES! As soon as I saw the name I was waiting for green day! I am too much of a fan.
April 9, 2011 at 8:59 pm
That thing reminds me of Bib Fortuna
April 30, 2011 at 7:51 pm

May 26, 2011 at 4:06 pm
Why would you want to look at a dead frog stuck to the tire of a car? The first thing I’d do would be to look away.
October 16, 2011 at 8:57 pm
I loved those films mindless fun in a basket.
October 17, 2011 at 6:49 pm
I found tis on special DVD at bargain shop for 5 dollars, but i didn’t get it. Now i wish i had because it looks pretty cool.

James, Basket Case 2 is so much better than the first! Acting is better, it’s scarrier and duane is just plain creepy in that movie! if you haven’t seein it, you just got to!
March 21, 2012 at 2:20 am
Is that the one they find a mate for the Basket freak? I found that one hilarious lol
February 7, 2012 at 10:50 am
I just obtained a copy of Basket Case 3, still sealed, for $6. It is very out-of-print and the lowest price on Amazon for a new copy is $49, with used copies just a little behind that. I guess this means I made a …good buy?
March 21, 2012 at 2:18 am
I actually rented this movie with my elder cousins… It always blew me off and, since TMNT already aired (and became a frigging media phenomenon by the time i could see this film), in a way i always thought that Krang and the Basket freak were related… There is a Splatterhouse spirit all over it, though probably is the other way around.

I knew James had bad taste in music, but the use of Green Day just cements it.
December 16, 2015 at 9:25 pm
Are you kidding me? He likes rock and Metal old school…go back listen your shitty rap of dubstep
January 5, 2013 at 10:11 pm
Amazingly stupid film!
Being a collector, you should definitely check out the DVD Hardboxes of this trilogy! Really awesome etro feeling when you hold em in your hands!
January 23, 2013 at 3:56 am
Ah. Wicker Man is finally put into context. Thank you.
February 11, 2013 at 7:21 pm
Damn, I’m doing a sort of Monster Madness marathon and I always seem to be eating when the grossest movies come up… =/
May 16, 2013 at 7:51 pm
Do you have the time… to listen to me HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!!
October 6, 2013 at 4:31 pm
Green Day goes well with any emotional horror movie.
October 29, 2013 at 6:44 pm
Lol, I made it a point to watch Basket Case this month and it was definitely something. Had fun watching it and boy, I did enjoy the women in this movie. Very sexy I thought. Didn’t the second one, but I did see the third one. Going from the first straight to the final film was a big jump. They go completely over the top with the concept and it’s fucking disgusting, insane, and glorious. It’s definitely something I’d recommend giving a watch.
October 29, 2013 at 10:54 pm
thanks man for making vids that help me use up my free time when im Bord.
October 30, 2013 at 8:13 am
The last scene (won’t ruin it for anybody) unique and hilarious.
November 3, 2013 at 5:48 pm
This move is a rip off of an old twilight zone episode, where there’s a guy who’s twin brother is his hand.
The brother gives him thoughts to kill others, especially when he’s trying to date at a bar.
His brother is also his main act, as he’s a ventriloquist, and his brother, of course, speaks the roles of the dummy.
So if you wondered where this idea came from – twilight zone :p

Isn’t it funny how you can watch some for free and others you have to pay for on the internet? It’s hit and miss.
February 28, 2014 at 11:29 am
my friends uncle made this movie. He is also responsible for a load of other great underground horror movies. The scene with the twin nurses happens to be my friends mother and her twin sister. What a great flick.

Man, I watched the trilogy a little while back and it’s fucking ape shit. The little monster gets a girlfriend that’s just like him, they fuck, have an entire family, and that’s after meeting up with a house of deformed people who are cared for by a sweet lady. The last movie pretty much features Basketcase vs a town Sheriff. I’d recommend Cinemassacre going back to these one day personally.

“Between two brothers”
“Between two disturbing mutant lumps of flesh”
