Terminator 3

My dad and I saw this in theaters when it first came out and we both enjoyed it for what it was. It’s definitely not up there with the first two, but Arnold makes it fun.

Yeah, this movie is great. I seen it at the theaters on July 4th, and it was better than any fireworks show in town. The TV series? Forget about that piece of shit! It doesn’t count. It never happened.

James; you should just go all out creative and tell us what you think this movie should have been.

Also, a lot of people went on saying “oh Rambo 4 (I’m calliing that James) has xx kills per minute and its shocking”

If you average out the last scene – T3 has almost 100,000 kills per second of movie time

The original Star Wars has an entire planet destroyed (billions of lives lost)…but I wouldn’t put it’s violence anywhere near that of Rambo 4.

Even though I hate CG i like the film they made the cg work (They did a great job with the CG in T2) But it’s not as good as the first 2 but i like it its good.

    this movie sucks noodles!

    – who needs romance in there?!
    – a terminator with a sense of humor? fuck that!
    – a female terminator!? just to sneak in some tits. LAME
    – John Connor is like the biggest wuss of all time during the ENTIRE movie. Nothing resembles the cool kid from T2.
    – Ending sucks, too. The story was finished after T2. All that could have been done was a future terminator movie. But just watch T4 and see how bad that sucked either.

They wanted to make a trilogy I guess.

i enjoyed watching this movie. the weakest of the 4, but still entertaining. it doesn’t suck like most are saying. if you stop comparing it to the first two, then you’ll definitely enjoy this.

I just signed up to say: “This movie sucked ass.” I really loved the first two parts, this movie was more like a parody with a weird story which made me force myself forget a third part does even exist. I also hated the guy playing John Connor. The John Connor in part two was a bad ass boy with a good attitude nontheless. This John Connor could have been taken right out of dawson creek or some similar shit. I hated it …

Maybe I had the wrong expectations and it’s just me, but objectivley looking at it I can at least say it comes nowhere near to the first two movies.

I think I enjoyed Nick Stahl as John Connor. Not particularly for his acting (the only movie I feel he did any good in was “Sin City”), but because he looked so much like Michael Biehn from the original. But, looking like the genuine offspring of your fictional father isn’t enough…

I highly disagree with your review, James.

This movie was exceedingly lame in just about every possible way.

And the “Good action”, that’s what made it even lamer. It’s just a boring standard action flick these days. No character, horrible acting, and all it banks on is that people missing a chromosome will be like “DuRR PREttY ACTion”

    Awful movie.

T2 was definately the best and always will be. T3 is okay, but I agree with you James. The plot would have been better if they had the T-101 with no memory of what happened at cyberdyne and that the terminator that tried to kill Sarah had created an alternate time. They actually implyed that on T2 when Miles Dyson revealed he created his processor by copying the one they found at the end of the first terminator film.

Couldn’t agree more with this review. T3 was not a masterpiece, but it gets the job done – exactly like you say!

T2 is terrible and contradicts previous rules and events.
While T3 is not perfect, it tells a better story then in T2 and even fixes many of it’s problems.

  • March 3, 2012 at 8:15 pm

Why would they build an “anti-terminator terminator?” Is the resistance stealing and reprogramming that many of them?Hahaha.

I do wonder James, what’s your opinion on The Sarah Connor Chronicles? Have you watched it?

This movie is almost nothing but balls to the wall ACTION from beginning to end.. Exactly what I want from my Movies. Did not disappoint when I saw it in the theatres 10 years ago.
I think I’ll pop this sucker into my Blu-ray player and go for a ride.

The TV series is awesome, better than the two last movies by far, and it is the reason why I hate the Fox group!
I saw this movie on the teathers on the premiere day, my hype was as high as hell and I did not felt disapointed…

The sequel that threw us a curve ball.

Okay, so we thought that the events in T2 ended the saga right?

Well, they found something. Sure the T-1000, the 1984 terminator CPU and arm and the “Protector” were destroyed, but something we never thought of in 1991 was that the Military had access to Cyberdyne’s research as many companies working in Defense contracting have to report their work to the government so there is your open room to a sequel.

While not as good as the original and T2, it does have it’s moments. But a curve ball was thrown. Many movie goers thought this would be set in the war between Conner’s resistance and Skynet’s cyborg army, but NO! They showed us how it was the military that continued Skynet’s work and started the techno apocalype aka “Judgment Day”.

So we had to wait in the wings for a Terminator film that would take place during the war.

Still, it’s good but doesn’t measure up. My favorite scene is when the Terminatrix samples Conner’s blood and when she gets a positive identity, it sounds like she’s having an orgasm.

The TX was actually sent to kill all of Conner’s Lieutenants. Finding John was just a bonus, hence the TX having an orgy when she finds his blood.

If a movie takes 12 years to make, I think its kind of silly to assume they spent those entire 12 years making that movie.
