I love this genera of film making, yet I really didn’t care for this movie. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t a bad movie, I just didn’t care for it.

The Blair Witch was cheese, just I guess it would be perfect for James to review soon…..

Blair Witch 2 didn’t completely rip off the murder tape reviewals at all *reeks of sarcasm*
I would’ve let them get away with it if the second one hadn’t been such a huge disappointment.
I just hope paranormal activity two doesn’t seem like a shameless rip-off of the predecessor, or else it’ll be a major bomb.

I liked this movie until the ending. I thought it was a major letdown and very cheap.

its was actually the late 70s film Cannibal Holocaust that these “reality” type films were inspired by

    So sick of Glee ads.

  • August 24, 2011 at 9:40 am

What is was, the days when people had a original idea, only to have someone else (Blair Witch) steal it and become much better know for it. Sad, sad.

You might want to review “Cannibal Holocaust”, James 🙂 Just a suggestion. Nice video as per usual 🙂 Keep up the good work!

Found footage is THE worst thing to happen in cinema history, period.

I don’t like these found footage films. In fact, Paranormal Activity is, in my opinion, the worst film of all time (tied, of course, with Garbage Pail Kids).

Here’s my take on the whole “found footage” genre. *IF* it’s done well, it can make the movie REALLY enjoyable and totally enhances my suspension of disbelief. *IF* it’s done poorly, it can make the movie REALLY cheesy and utterly destroys my suspension of disbelief.
