Yeah, Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 were the shit. I loved watching them as a kid. And it would scare the crap out of me back then but now, its like I just watch them to bring back the good ol days.

Yeah originally an anime and i think a manga before that, it definitely keeps that feel. It’s like watching a live-action anime but its so overwhelmingly over the top with the gore that even non-anime fans can enjoy it. Although as I said some elements are undeniably going to be lost on an american audience. It was actually one of my introductions to Japanese stories and it led to a life long love of that culture. And now I’m like an angry anime nerd, lol.

Was the purpose of this video to be annoying? If so, mission accomplished.

That was an awesome evil dead intro for the screams!

It’s a pretty scary sound for humans to make when you think about it. Imagine if you never met a human before and it screamed, you never heard a scream before. How much would that scare the shit out of you. I remember at the end of one of the body snatcher movies they point and scream at humans … that used to scare me.
Good tribute to screams. Gotta love Bruce Campbell :]

I took Evil Dead to my brother’s house a while back so he and my sister in law could see it. When she asked what the unseen thing was chasing Ash, my brother told her it was Taz. Everytime I see those scenes now, I can’t help but imagine that it IS Taz, grinding through trees and rocks, chasing Ash. lol Great video, by the way. I love it.
