TMNT Tournament Fighter Challenge SNES

Mike and James play TMNT Tournament Fighter on SNES. The winner gets to watch the last 20 minutes of the 1990 TMNT live action movie. The loser has to watch the horrifying full 20 minutes of Turtle Tunes where the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sing nursery rhymes.

Pat the NES Punk had a charity event, a while ago, where he played an insane amount of different NES games during a 24 hour marathon. Originally the marathon was a live streaming event, but recently, he posted the best moments. There is a spot where the “nerd takes over” and plays Golgo 13. If you haven’t seen it, check it out.

NOTE: Anyone who has watched Inspector Gadget as a kid, remembers the famous “DIC” logo. How could you forget a name like that? So yes, we all know that DIC is the same company that produced the Super Mario Bros Super Show, but that does not explain why Inspector Gadget belongs on the menu screen!

I met up with Pat the NES Punk one day to hang out casually and play some games. He brought his camera and put together a little video where we candidly discuss what it’s like making game reviews. Thanks Pat, for sending the video over. It’s unscripted and totally loose. I wasn’t able to articulate myself too well, since the topic of making game reviews is very complicated, but I’m sure many of you will enjoy nevertheless.

Also, check out Pat’s review of Nintendo World Championship. It’s often cited as the rarest NES game with only 116 copies in existence. (90 grey carts and 26 gold)

Recently, I had a chat with AJ LoCascio, the voice of Marty McFly in the new Back to the Future game from Telltale. It’s just audio. You can watch it with images or download the mp3 here.
