Angry Video Game Nerd Episode 147: GameBoy Accessories
August 15, 2017 at 11:38 am
WTF?? Sowing machine? Gas device? Photo shooting?? Didn’t know about any of these crap… F*…
October 21, 2017 at 11:20 pm
I knew about the Gameboy Camera and the Gameboy Printer, but I had no idea there actually was a Gameboy Sowing Machine or a Gameboy FM Radio or an Cell Phone adaptor or a modem or even a Gameboy Gas device. Seriously? A sowing machine and a gas device? What were they smoking when they came up with that?
Hey, you took my advice! Awesome. I like that you play the full open. Very cool.

I guess you didn’t notice the GameBoy Camera can be rotated 180 degrees, following the direction of the arrow on the camera housing. 🙂

I had a Gameboy in high school. I used to wear a Mets jacket all the time, and sewed an oversized pocket to the inside, so I could bring it to school.

As useless and clunky as it seems, I really like the look of the Booster thingy. It looks like a Star Wars droid or something.

Premiered on my birthday today! I’m a lucky guy!
I don’t have the original Game Boy, but I had a transparent Game Boy Color in the late 90s.

I had a transparent Classic Gameboy back when I was in middle school. I couldn’t stop playing Pokemon Blue and later Pokemon Gold back then.

I love this video! Never realized so many insane accessories were released for the game boy. Also, when you’re reeling from the loudness of the booster’s speakers, the back cover is off and there are no batteries in it……shut up, I notice weird shit.

Good catch. I hadn’t noticed.

I have the Light Boy, and it sucks.
August 15, 2017 at 8:15 pm
Ok but a sewing game boy is pretty awesome though lol

The gameboy camera can be rotated the other way around, just twist it.

I had a magnifier with light for my Gameboy Color back in the day, and it ran off the system’s battery, added lighting and magnified the game, and I loved that accessory. It was basically like the best one you showed in this vid.

Advance SP was the pinnacle of the gameboy line and mobile gaming in general. The DS and what came after failed to top it. Maybe MAME on a rooted Android phone or Raspberry Pi comes close, I guess.

The sp is a gem, but a modded ds and 3ds are pretty nice too 😛

Yippee double A motherfucker
August 16, 2017 at 12:22 pm
I used to have the Light Boy, the Battery Pack and the carrying case.
But where was the Konami Hyperboy in this video? When I saw this in a video-game-mag, I thought it was awesome.

Lol yippee double aa. Great line!

“STD. STD? Why would you name a company STD”? I agree. Not the wisest decsion by a video game company. Almost as bad as when cash register machine companies call their systems POS’s. POS? It’s supposed to stand for “Point of Sale”, but we all know what it really stands for. What were they thinking?

“But hey, look here, I can decorate my face”
Funniest shit I ever heard you say

My husband and I collect video game anything. And I happen to be a seamstress. I immediately asked the almighty Google for that sewing machine. Hey price tag but it’ll be here next week. James, if this line any details about it let me know! I managed to find a complete set!

Well, I’m definitely not getting the booster. That thing is huge! Also, I still don’t have the link cable for my Game Boy yet. I’m still looking for it in stores.
