Wow never even knew this game existed looks like fun!

This actually looks pretty decent for a movie tie-in. I would speculate Peter Jackson himself had a say in the development, at least in terms of keeping the quality pretty high, such as keeping the entire cast from the movie.

He did. there’s an unlockable interview in the game. He handpicked game developer Michel Ancel of Ubisoft because he really liked his game “Beyond Good and evil”

Oh, is that the guy who made Beyond Good and Evil? Talk about an underrated game…

I don’t know the PS2 version but on PC there is an alternate ending in the bonus section where Kong actually survives the ending fight. You should ckeck it out.

The game does have an unlockable alternate ending where Kong does win. and is returned to Skull Island alive.Granted if you follow the History of Skull island included on the DVD its only for another 15 years or so. Might want to look into that.

Man this game DOES look amazing and, more importantly, playable; overall, a great adaptation and game per se. Hey, did you know that Dragon Quest III has a monster called Kong drawn by the artist of Dragon Ball himself? Well in Japan it’s called Kong, in “Dragon Warrior III” (NES version) it’s called Kong but I believe in the newest adaptations it’s now called Smackanape.

Nice I was just putting old PC games I had on my new gaming PC to play them in 1080p and I had put this game on it. I played like 5 mins of it but then stopped playing. I may try finishing it now that I seen what to do and where to go. lol.

I remember the 360 version, which looked and played better.

And yes, Anthony Serkis is awesome. Though James, there was a good reason why he had to CGI mocap Snoke in Episode 7, and that’s because they didn’t pin down his design until relatively late in production.

Well, pretty good for a movie game. Not worth getting tbh, but better than the usual. I mean, movie games are usually a no-no; only suckers buy that stuff.

That is kind of weird you have to lose at the end. Even when there was a PS2 version of Scarface, you still got to win as Tony Montana.
