Please, please, please add Monster Madness series to the list as well – it would be great to have them on Blu-Ray! 🙂 Also some “complete series” package would be great with some discounts.

He can’t release Monster Madness on DVD…the original episodes used extensive clips of the movie in the episode…he can’t sell a product like that.

Why did I buy the Board James vol 1 dvd if I am now going to have to buy it all over again on BluRay for the new episodes 🙁 not happy about this…

Guys…I really feel like you don’t need to make a volume X3 at all. You barely have enough for an X2 volume. Don’t cheap out and have only 14 episodes on your “X2” and only 28 on your “X3”. Please? Just stuff everything you got right now after episode 100 onto X2.

I agree with Don here, if you’re going to do an BluRay Volume X2 it really should include all of the remaining 43 episodes rather than split them up (or at the very least X2 should have more than 14 episodes, that’s an atrociously small amount), or at the very least the price needs to be less than $50.

The whole point of buying the BluRays was that they cost more but can hold much more content, making it worth more bang for your buck. If I wanted to buy the episodes in small increments like that then I’d just buy the DVDs.

I think the difference there is video quality. All the episodes on X were shot in standard definition, which is why it’s so ridiculously long; around the time of the Schwarzenegger Games video, they started shooting in 1080. Everything after that will take up a lot more space on a BD.

So they can just add more discs.

Fair enough, that would increase the amount of space, as would the fact that the episodes gradually got slightly longer per episode, but would it cut the space by more than half? They can’t fit 30-40 episodes, especially considering the Shitsmas episodes (122 – 133) were mostly shorter?

Even if they couldn’t, they could certainly fit more than 14. I’d say it should have at least 25 (since X3 is shown to be able to hold episodes 115 – 143 which is much larger than 14 episodes).

Yeah its’ such a shame if X2 will only have 14 episodes IMO, especially since the Vol.9 DVD has more than that. Why not just put the remaining episodes and extras onto 2 BDs and call it X2?

    • December 21, 2016 at 9:01 pm

Most of the episodes in vol 9 were part of the 12 days of shitmas and were very short.

Hoping a Board James Vol 2 comes to dvd.

  • December 22, 2016 at 11:45 am

Will there be a Board James season 2 on its own? As I bought season one and it was missing a disc. Had no help from customer service so resorted to buying season one twice. Don’t want to buy it a third time

My DVD Volume 2 did not include the two TMNT 3 episodes. Only the scene where he destroys the tape…

He couldn’t include the full review because it contains footage from the movie.

I see the list has Vol. 9 dvd but is there even a volume 9 dvd? I ended up getting season 9 to continue the set, the spines and title don’t match, talk about chronologically confused, might have to make a whole video on this 😉

No, there isn’t actually a “Volume” 9, despite what it says on the chart. When the remastered DVDs of #1-#8 were released, they changed it from “Volume” to “Season” on the DVD covers, but otherwise the episode list on the “Season” DVDs is the same as it was on the original “Volume” DVDs. At the same time, they came out with the Season 9 DVD, which picks up from where Volume/Season 8 left off.
