Will be seeing the film on Friday night before I see this video! Too bad James wasn’t with you to do the video. I would’ve like to hear his thoughts on what could be the best Star Trek film since Wrath of Khan.

Wow, I had to comment, eventhough I’m just halfway through the video. I am so happy right now about all the things you’ve said. It seems you wanted things from the Star Trek reboot similar to me. And after all the upliftung things you’ve said, Mike saying it is a ‘small’ story really made me cheer. I was hoping that they finally could abandon the ‘revenge’ plot we saw for… let me see.. almost every Star Trek movie. Thanks guys, you made my day.

Aaah.. another revenge plot.. I spoke too soon.
      Anyway, the rest sounded nice.
2 more things: have you heard that the Chekov actor has passed away recently? I think you haven’t since you haven’t mentioned it when you spoke of the charakter.
If you are a pure fan of TOS, you have to check out ‘Star Trek continues’, if you haven’t already.

Mike had a R.I.P. Anton Yelchin post on his Twitter a while back.

This is the film with gay Sulu, right?

Yep and george takei wasn’t happy about it, just because he loved the character so much that he didn’t feel he needed changing.

I’m surprised you guys didn’t mention anything about the actor playing Chekov dying (poor bastard was so young…) or about gay Sulu.

But hearing you guys saying this feels like old trek makes me want to see this more than ever!

Btw, the 25th Anniversary NES game is actually pretty fun. 😛
