Mike & Bootsy play Marble Madness on the Nintendo Entertainment System! Marble Madness was originally an arcade game made by Atari in 1984.

You both have excellent ball control.

Cool video guys, but what’s up with bootsy beats?
December 6, 2015 at 8:27 pm
Yeah I was wondering that too. I was hoping he would do goonies II on the NES.
December 7, 2015 at 9:37 pm
Bootsy is awesome. Goonies II is a great idea. For those who know this from that game – “What do you do?” He really adds a lot to anything that he is in. I would like to see him, James, and Mike play Lost Vikings at some point.

loved the end when you guys missed the high five! Also do you guys have any plans to ever review or play any of the Evil Dead games in a video? It would be awesome if you did one of those in a live stream Mike.

Balls are touching….
What do you guys think about speedruns, games what normally take you ages to complete they just fly by. It’s often just nuts but great to see.
December 6, 2015 at 9:17 pm
Marble Madness is such a fantastic speedgame. Due to the scoring system and timer, by playing it the “normal” way and improving your skill, you are learning to speedrun it.

Why is it that on Facebook I cannot like or comment on any of the stuff on the AVGN page?
December 6, 2015 at 5:19 pm
I know a lot of Ends I want to Rub! Yeah, baby!
December 6, 2015 at 6:09 pm
Awesome guys! Watch the new AVGN cover art analysis this morning, check back in the afternoon, and Mike and Bootsy’s let’s play is up. Love the constant content gentlemen!
December 6, 2015 at 6:25 pm
Too funny! Actually had me yelling out at my screen when Bootsy runs out of time right at the goal line.
December 6, 2015 at 6:28 pm
Oh, for a moment I thought this was another boxart critic lol. I thought that art was decent.
December 6, 2015 at 6:45 pm
That missed hi 5 haha… If Bootsy keeps this up extraterrestrials will come get him to be the Last Starfighter.
December 6, 2015 at 6:59 pm
I feel like I watch these videos for the experience of feeling like I have friends. Great job, Bootsy! *high miss*
December 6, 2015 at 9:23 pm
Me too! Too bad no one play games with me in real life. They like on-line hero games, while I like Nintendo and stuffs.
December 6, 2015 at 7:20 pm
Awesome..Bootsy does it again!
December 6, 2015 at 8:18 pm
Excellent video. What was Bootsy’s final score?
December 6, 2015 at 8:54 pm
Is there a game that Bootsy cannot beat? 😀
anyways, great video. I hope that “Bootsy beats” will continue.
December 6, 2015 at 10:49 pm
I have to say I used to love this game when I was a kid. I never had it but my friend did and we used to play it all the time. He also knew how to play in 45 angle. All you had to do was turn the controler a little so the control pad was played as an x for you to push leftup, rightup, rightdown, leftdown. For him it worked easier. By the way some of the music in that game was also in Wizards and Warriors. Good sound track.

What is on Bootsy’s shirt?
December 7, 2015 at 12:07 pm
Come on Sherlock, just google Hayden Us Alone.
December 7, 2015 at 12:43 am
you guys are really good ball handlers.
December 7, 2015 at 12:47 am
tell bootsy to take off that New York hat and replace it with a Florida hat
December 7, 2015 at 1:44 am
Bootsy’s face at 11:05 is when you know shit just got real. As always, I tip my imaginary hat off to Boots!

So today I started getting a bunch of comments on my older Marble Madness videos, and this turns out to be the reason why. Coincidentally, I JUST took back the Marble Madness (NES) world record two days ago. Here’s the up to date link for the comparison video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJ9Ed887sSc

This game is as hard as hell, but still remains one of my favorite NES games of all time.
December 7, 2015 at 4:16 am
The trick to always nailing the high five is looking at the other guy’s elbow. Trust me, it nearly always works.
December 8, 2015 at 1:23 pm
I can’t believe you just said that. I always tell people that and they are always amazed how good it works. I thought i was the only one who knew lol
December 7, 2015 at 4:31 am
Love this video. Your last attempt (3rd) and I’m thinking that there’s no way they could just stop after that. Then it cuts to 4th. Again. No way they could just stop there. Cut to 5. A bunch of near misses with a final near miss with the hands.
December 7, 2015 at 6:26 am
do it up NES Advantage style
December 7, 2015 at 2:11 pm
I have this game for the Sega Master System so I can play it on the Game Gear… It’s a fun game but nothing to write home about 🙂
December 7, 2015 at 4:28 pm
I see why they call you Bad Luck Bootsy now 🙂
December 7, 2015 at 5:40 pm
Bootsy is the man!!!!!!
December 8, 2015 at 1:02 am
Man Mike is some thick.
December 8, 2015 at 2:32 am
Really? Show a game being beaten but don’t show the end game screen? It doesn’t matter if it’s nothing special… how disappointing!
December 8, 2015 at 1:24 pm
We need more Bootsy!!!
December 9, 2015 at 2:55 am
