Omg that last quote is hilarious. I love when Mike pauses when he realized what he just read, like “Eww” and James has to read it and slowly to his shocking belief, that’s what is says. Dude your laugh is like etched into my brain.

Best Castlevania game right after Super Castlevania 4

  • October 19, 2015 at 9:51 am

I used to play this game as Eric Lecarde since the spear does give you the ability to attack in all directions. It also gives you the ability to do a pole (high) jump. And by holding attack and pressing between left and right, he does an overhead spinning attack. Pretty cool. Overall I thought it made the game more enjoyable, and was always one of my favorite games in the CV series.

Konami did a great job of coming up with an exclusive Genesis castlevania game, they really knew how to push the Genesis graphics and audio wise. Contra hard corps was awesome as well but the ninja turtles game kind of feels like a watered down version of turtles in time, it’s kind of disappointing.

Regarding the graphics, I think the Super Famicom version has better image quality but the design is kinda cheap, low budget looking while the Mega Drive version is the oposite.
I have to say, while I never really liked the Akumajou Dracula series in general, Vampire Killer (the Mega Drive version) always seemed way better to me.

I’m not trolling, I’m just revealing my honest opinions. I’m just sick of people praising such talentless and unoriginal videos like J&MM.

Say you’re watching your roommates play a video game while telling funny stories. Do you look at that and think, “Wow, that would make an amazing video!”

Minute 3:34: you go on that platform using the spear. Press down and charge the vertical attack.

  • October 19, 2015 at 3:02 pm

Lol James looks at he camera as he is shock so funny.

    October 19, 2015 at 5:36 pm

Someone else probably mentioned this, but Eric LeCarde is a lot more bad ass fighter than Morris. He has a power jump attack that when used can do damage to your enemy and makes you invincible. I liked this Castlevania, with the Sega Genesis, I always thought their games had more of an arcade feel to it. That back of the box is so different from today’s, back then they actually described the game in detail, these days you get like one sentence in English and the same thing in Spanish and some times you get no screen shots of the game!

Wow this game one of my fave’s on the Genesis/Sega MD!
A classic castlevania romp that ranks up their with almost any
other Castlevania games in the series..
Speaking of other Castlevania games ,I dont know why people hate
on the titles in the series for the Nintendo DS. Ive heard complaints of poor gameplay and having to use the stylus–But as far as I can remember the DS Castlevania games were enjoyable and interesting additions to the legacy. Well I just felt I had to get this off my mind ,and chest and if anyone was wondering if the DS games (Dawn of Sorrow,Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia) were worth picking up its a definite YES from my experience!

    Thanks Cinemassacre
