Wow! I remember Stooge University! Thanks for the memory jog, guys!
I mean NYUK U!
September 1, 2015 at 4:55 am
Awesome dream, btw, Mike! Even I couldn’t book the stooges to play at my school in my dreams! You rock!
September 2, 2015 at 10:14 am
This video needs to be titled like a movie;
The Three Stooges 2.0
September 1, 2015 at 5:19 am
My dad brought me up on the three stooges so my entire childhood consisted of Nintendo ninja turtles and the three stooges.
September 1, 2015 at 6:37 am
If Smash TV and Ikari Warriors had a baby, this is what it would look like.
Looks like fun. 😛
September 1, 2015 at 11:15 am
I think a full playthrough of this would be awesome. Such gruesome bosses
September 1, 2015 at 11:42 am
Ya’ll should play “Zombies Ate My Neighbors” on SNES or Genesis! Classic couch co-op at its best!
September 1, 2015 at 10:44 pm
YES!! One of the best games ever. And October is coming up.
September 3, 2015 at 12:28 pm
Or river city ransom.
September 1, 2015 at 12:03 pm
Wow thanks for playing another game I requested! The last one was Jurassic Park on snes, now Im just waiting for you guys to play some Links Awakening.
September 1, 2015 at 1:40 pm
Here’s those Leslie Nielsen segments James was talking about.
September 2, 2015 at 5:20 am
Very cool, thanks for posting!
I have a vague recollection of these, but I’m not sure where I could have seen them before. Maybe it’s an artificial memory implanted through suggestion.
September 2, 2015 at 4:26 pm
You’re welcome! They aired on AMC in the early 2000s, I believe.
September 1, 2015 at 2:54 pm
Is this a sequel to Smash TV arcade? Seems massively similar? Think in the 90s the ‘whoop whoop’ may be a lethal weapon reference. Sadly.
September 1, 2015 at 5:50 pm
I hate it when Mike cuts James off all of the time, but Mike rambles on and James politely listens..
September 1, 2015 at 8:54 pm
I played this on midway arcade treasures (pretty much just the same as this but on PS2) and i would have loved to see your reaction to the last boss, it’s giant robot Hitler disguised as giant robot Stalin.
for Halloween next month you guys should play war of the monstors on PS2 it’s one of the best kaiju games I ever played you’d love it
September 1, 2015 at 9:57 pm
Off road and RC pro am are the only games I’ve found that work well with the NES advantage. I’d like to see an episode where you guys play mario 3
September 2, 2015 at 12:20 am
Do a Wes craven tribute
September 2, 2015 at 12:46 am
Monster Madness is only a month away. I’m sure they have something up their sleeve…
September 3, 2015 at 7:43 am
If I recall they watch, write, record the episodes months in advance for that.
September 2, 2015 at 5:13 am
I didn’t know you had a tattoo, James.
That Three Stooges story was really fun, Mike.
Total Carnage looks like a great, gory game. I’m surprised you guys didn’t opt to play it all the way through. Looks like I’m going to put Midway Arcade Origins on my list of stuff to buy.
September 2, 2015 at 9:38 am
play this game pls all the nintendo caracters thx Abobo’s Big Adventure
September 2, 2015 at 12:39 pm
Did you know that there is a snes total carnage? I still have it!
You guys should play JOUST!!
September 2, 2015 at 1:45 pm
You guys seriously didn’t realize this was made my Midway after Smash T.V. and even uses a lot of the similarities?
September 2, 2015 at 1:54 pm
Sorry for the double-post Mike but that dream was fucking awesome! Thanks for sharing that!
September 3, 2015 at 4:03 am
Week 15 of 52: I would like to request ‘Archon’
September 3, 2015 at 7:33 am
Great 3 Stooges Story Mike….said no one ever!
September 3, 2015 at 10:30 am
yeah Im not getting the dream praise, I personally felt it just kind of dragged. Like a joke with no punchline
September 3, 2015 at 3:11 pm
I’m pretty sure the “punchline” is him waking up his girlfriend by shouting “Thank Shemp and Joe too!” in his sleep.
September 3, 2015 at 10:29 am
so wheres the bootsy beats?
September 4, 2015 at 1:44 am
For real. I’ve had my NES paused for over 2 weeks now waiting on the next video so I can watch and beat the next few levels.
September 3, 2015 at 2:34 pm
I remember beating this as a kid and it basically goes “FUCK YOU YOU IN REALITY LOST” in the end because I didn’t get if I recall right all the gold keys as you go through. Man it was a grind but I did it and SOLO which is hard as a fucking shit.
September 5, 2015 at 4:41 am
This game was awesome. i remember this game was a random rental i got at blockbuster and unlike most of the other games i played, this game kicked ass…. years later i ended up going to funcoland and buying it i thought it was so cool. it was comparable to M.E.R.C.S. for the sega genesis! another cool game.
September 6, 2015 at 9:25 pm
You guys never played Total Carnage or Smash TV? Total Carnage is like the spiritual successor to Smash TV. And yeah, they both have silly humor in them like that. With Smash TV, it’s basically like Running Man in videogame form. Fun stuff. You’ll also hear the game say “Total Carnage!” in Smash TV.
September 8, 2015 at 3:42 am
Total Carnage is the sequel to SmashTV. It’s less of an ‘arena’ game and more an action game.
September 9, 2015 at 3:37 am
I played this on SNES and the game is too hard.. Got on level 3 with single player
September 23, 2015 at 7:01 am
Mike you are clueless about how to correctly pronounce Nyack, NY. I’ve actually been there several times and have friends up in that area near Pearl River and Nyack, lol.
September 23, 2015 at 5:22 pm
It was a joke.
April 5, 2016 at 6:27 am
