hey i really cant understand how u dont like warcraft 3. just try custom games. make it into an episode. its the greatest game of all time because it can never end, there are tens of thousands of different Games people have made. the online isnt as popular anymore but some custom games are still played. MAKE IT INTO AN EPISODE WHERE YOU REVIEW WARCRAFT 1,2, AND 3 AND WHERE YOU CONTRAST IT TO WORLD OF WARCRAFT WHICH IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BUT THE SAME IN SOME WAYS. PLEASE. THANKS

Speaking of art style in games Mike, have you seen Cuphead? It’s an Xbox One exclusive coming out in late 2015/2016…the animations look right up your alley…
July 10, 2015 at 5:48 pm
I heard about that game quite a long time ago. It looks like a cool art style. But so did epic Mickey. And I found the gameplay lacking with that. Hopefully cuphead is also a fun gameplay experience.

Yeah. Just need more J&MM because of the old school games and James. Not into seeing these ‘Let’s play’ indie games. This is not Cinemassacre. And don’t give me that branching out s**t. And the don’t watch this video s**t, this is how we form opinions on site content. We don’t need it here. Happy Birthday James!

This site has Google analytics and whatever else. They know exactly which pages/videos are getting the traffic, and which are not. Your pesonal comment is irrelevent in the face of the facts of which videos the entire internet is ACTUALLY watching. (Whichever ones here those happen to be.)

This guy is obviously a troll. Shall we smite him with our +2 axe mate? I Fucking thought the movie was great!! And Mike and Ryan and all other of James and mike friends are amazing. Yes that includes you too Bootsy and Kyle 🙂 SOO go jump in a lake of fire Fucktard! Too much fducktardary going round as is, we dont need you!
July 11, 2015 at 11:25 am
Wow Mike King, that was just embarrassing. You only think he’s a troll because you disagree with him. What a dense and juvenile way of interpreting someone else’s opinions. I’m assuming you’re in middle school, or perhaps younger?

I wonder how many times a day you jerk off to all your favorite heros.

DONT BE AN ASSHOLE. love them all
July 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm
yes im a fanboy 🙂 and im not gonna go back and fourth with all you guys on here because i love the content that this site puts out..SORRY! You guys only prove my point about all the fucktards and fucktardary going on in the world.

Yes, I agree. It seems like he feels too pressured to make more elaborate ones focusing on the worst games possible, but I think a lot of us would be happy with shorter ones focusing on any old crappy game, just like the old episodes. I don’t mind the extra content either but it seems like the “extra” stuff is now the focus of this website, and its subject-matter (modern game reviews, “let’s play” stuff) doesn’t really fit with a website that’s supposed to be about film (or so I always thought).

Hate to reply to a negative comment, but since there’s no forum I’d have to agree with some of the above. I also don’t mind, in many cases enjoy, some of the more extemporaneous videos, but that does seem like the majority of stuff these days. There’s been 2 AVGN episodes in 7 months. A few Board James episodes, and a handful of YKWBS episodes too. I think the movie reviews (Jurassic World, Terminator, etc) could turn into something if they were a little more coherent and thought out.

NWC 2015! I want that shirt!!!

I love turn based games. I’d like to see one of the new Sim City games. I know you liked the original a lot.
July 10, 2015 at 6:29 pm
That’s a spot on impression of Conan’s nerd voice! I love hearing all your different voices, Mike!
July 10, 2015 at 6:31 pm
I wonder if Ryan noticed Mike’s compliment. He basically said he always wished as a kid he had friends to play these games with. Now he does all the time. This game looks addicting but I don’t know about giving up my items at the end of a dungeon. Cool stuff guys!

the bromance was strong in that moment.

Shout out to Versus Evil for hooking them up with early access. Virtual card games seem like the hot fad right now.

I’m fond of these kind of games and the monsters kinda remind me of Dragon Quest monsters so this is a game I might wanna try someday.
Here’s how we handle my three files: File 1 is mine, File 2 is my brother’s and File 3 is to whoever wanna start a deletable new game because we wouldn’t delete our two files unless it’s necessary.
11:37 Wow, people actually don’t like that nice little dialogue? Who would’ve thought! I’m not being sarcastic either, that dialogue is actually one of the reasons I find more personality in that game than any Mario Party.

Great video. Really like these reviews. Keep up the good work.

Loving that Bard’s Tale NES Music! 😀

The game has a very interesting artwork style. They probably could make it even more eye-catching by adding more color to it… or at least to the characters and/or room you’re currently in.
The artwork style somewhat reminds me of the YouTube Disney Shorts cartoons (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ubNBxbLpZE ). The characters and moving objects are drawn very solidly (outlined and filled in), and the backgrounds have a freer, textured and shaded look.

how much memory does your coumputer have?!?!
August 28, 2016 at 3:56 am
Your average gaming PC comes with at LEAST 8GiB of RAM and 1TB of hard drive space these days and, if you’re building your own, Logical Increments will suggest those in the parts list once your budget hits roughly $500.
July 13, 2015 at 12:25 am
This game and it’s art style sort of reminds me of Munchkin.

Link in the description doesn’t work, BTW.
July 13, 2015 at 11:10 am
yes Mike you had “friends” (bunny quotes)
August 28, 2016 at 3:58 am
That “you build the dungeon but can’t control the hero” mechanic reminds me of Majesty or, if you ignore the possession spell, Dungeon Keeper 2.
(I never had the original Dungeon Keeper as a kid.)
