This week we play Ninja Golf for Atari 7800! Special Guests Kyle and Bootsy!
June 15, 2015 at 12:34 am
Great video guys! Always love Kyle and Bootsy appearances! Thanks for making mondays better.
June 15, 2015 at 12:37 am
I love Bootsy, does he have any other online presence? I feel like my life could do with more Bootsy in it.
Great video btw, keep it up guys.
June 15, 2015 at 10:39 am
I love Boosty’s old school O’s hat.
June 16, 2015 at 6:22 pm
AVGN went downhill after James left for California to work on his movie, a movie which ironically ranks as low as the shitty games he reviews. Who are these clowns hanging out with James? Whatever happened to your winning formula, James? For old times sake, please create a video that doesn’t blow so hard. And Mike needs to go back into hiding where he belongs: his art room.
June 16, 2015 at 8:14 pm
yeah man, seems like they’re just phoning it in anymore.
Too bad you couldn’t get the ninja in the ninja gaiden episode to play this haha
June 15, 2015 at 12:43 am
oh by the way, I know what a type writer is and I’m a zygote.
June 15, 2015 at 12:38 am
There it is – ! Could only find it on Youtube before…
June 15, 2015 at 12:48 am
Ninja bingo gameplay- random people walk across the screen and you have to shoot the person that has the right combo called.

This game is way more amazing than I was expecting. Great vid!
June 15, 2015 at 2:02 am
I actually love when these guys go off on a tangent and discuss paste, video formats, holidays, or whatever. Like that whole Boris Karloff’s The Terror video commentary.
June 15, 2015 at 2:48 am
Dudes I’m laughing my balls off at bootsy when he says, “talking libraries with James and friends.” Nailed it. That was great stuff.
June 15, 2015 at 3:21 am
Paste 4 life
June 28, 2015 at 11:02 am
you remember paste?
June 15, 2015 at 3:26 am
Conan the Librarian says “Don’t you know The Dewey Decimal System?”. That’s the funniest line in UHF.
June 15, 2015 at 3:30 am
Some of us are familiar with typewriters. The dragon totally moves like a platen.
June 15, 2015 at 4:36 am
Aw man! No Kevin Finn? Shoulda waited until you could see him again for Ninja Golf; this episode demanded his great Ninja ad-libs!
June 15, 2015 at 5:02 am
Very interesting, James was holding a Genesis controller at the beginning, but then there’s a cut away and its the Atari 7800 controller, conspiracy? nah just messing, looks like allot of fun guys!
June 15, 2015 at 5:39 am
Do I hear Last Ninja? Part of the game, or did you just add it in because the game doesn’t really have any music?
June 15, 2015 at 6:14 am
Wrong Mikey games was released in 1990
June 15, 2015 at 9:02 am
“still sounds like Atari” I believe the 7800 uses the same POKEY sound chip the 2600 used.
June 15, 2015 at 9:09 am
Oops they both used the TIA chip and POKEY was used for enhanced sounds.
June 15, 2015 at 9:18 am
You guys ever play Spectrum? don’t think I’ve ever noticed you mention it but I would love to see you smash out some of the classics. I was always more familiar with the ZX 128k than any of the Atari home computers.
June 15, 2015 at 10:31 am
This should be Game of the Year every year! Also loved the C64 Last Ninja 2 music at the start of the video, one of the best game soundtracks of all time.
June 15, 2015 at 11:14 am
Just to be clear: everyday life is full of Ninja’s. Lost your keys? Swear you turned of the light? Every traffic light goes red when you’re in a hurry? All cases of Ninja activity. But what’s a Ninja that can be observed by commoners? A disgrace, that’s what.
June 15, 2015 at 11:54 am
OMFG thank god for the Ninja 3 the Domination reference exactly what I was thinking. Also with the rise of MMA Ninjas have went way downhill they are just not around anymore. Back in the 80’s when I was a kid it would be common to see ninjas at both common Malls and Golf courses and amusment parks. Ahhh the 80’s when Ninjas Roamed free,
June 15, 2015 at 1:02 pm
Definitely needs music and perhaps a change up of bosses at the hole instead of just the same dragon all the time.
June 15, 2015 at 1:15 pm
Good to see Kyle and Da Boots back on the couch.
June 15, 2015 at 1:17 pm
Week 3 of 52: I would like to request ‘Archon’
June 15, 2015 at 2:11 pm
Future cult classic in 3…2…1
June 15, 2015 at 2:26 pm
Great video guy’s! Love the Mondays!
June 15, 2015 at 7:36 pm
When ninjas aren’t kickin ass, they like to play golf in their leisure time
June 15, 2015 at 11:55 pm
Hi Mike, the app seems drunk. There are problems with a lot of recent vids: Mario Kart, Ouiji Board, Super Marioland and Zelda. Don’t want to nag, I just love all the vids and usually watch using the app rather than the website – just wasn’t sure if you guys caught the problem on your end. Thanks! You guys rock – love all the Cinemassacre crew!
June 16, 2015 at 12:45 am
(Funniest moment, at 9:03)
Mike: Remember paste?
KJ: We had a whole bunch of paste. Right next to the typewriter.
June 16, 2015 at 1:52 am
This reminds me of Basewars, which is a game you guys should try one Monday. Baseball played by robots with laser swords and machine guns and just plain old beating the crap out of each other. My kind of sports game.
June 16, 2015 at 8:15 pm
I kind of want to get a 7800 and this game. har har snarf
June 16, 2015 at 10:47 pm
Bootsy is great.
June 18, 2015 at 12:06 pm
Now we just need Ninja Tennis.
June 18, 2015 at 9:29 pm

June 22, 2015 at 12:18 pm
Wow…great episode of James & Mike Mondays. Never heard of a game that combines ninjas with golf 🙂
July 4, 2015 at 7:06 pm
moisture content. LOL
July 14, 2015 at 4:41 am
Good to see Kyle and Bootsy! I never knew that Ninja Golf was a thing ’til I saw this… Thanks for the video!
July 16, 2015 at 11:56 pm
After a few years, I’m finally compelled to comment on one of your videos, because I was…in my high school years…indeed a member…of A BAND CALLED “DEWEY & THE DECIMAL SYSTEM”! Our theme was a tune entitled “We Will Organize You (Decimal Rock)”, performed amongst such hits as “I Shake It”, and “Action Man”. I’m still unquestionably proud to have been part of such an enduring organization. Sorry James, but your balls (or dreamballs?) have been stepped on, stepped on about 15 years ago, in Tennessee

Looks like one of the greatest games of it’s time, if not ever.
