Scrublords x James & Mike
May 11, 2015 at 12:54 am
Sounds like this game is much better than the movie, and Double Dragon 3 on NES!
May 11, 2015 at 12:56 am
Wuz cookin’ mah niggaz?
May 11, 2015 at 12:57 am
Mike, is there a Soft reset in the game… Maybe you guys hold down a few buttons and that’s why it went to the menu again. Just an idea like that 🙂
May 11, 2015 at 1:04 am
I played this game before in the arcade. I think I used Marian the most since I usually end up picking the chick fighters anyway.
Man, can you hear how they’re mashing those buttons and jamming those joysticks around? lol That’s when you know that it’s getting intense!
It’s nice to see you guys playing with different systems. How about you guys break out the Neo Geo classic? Or maybe the TurboGrafix 16 classic?
May 11, 2015 at 1:29 am
I always picked Blanka in SF2 just because I liked his style, and I got so good at him that I could beat anyone most of the time regardless of who they picked, which usually surprised them since he was never considered very good, although I don’t know why.

Hey James and Mike. I hope to see Mrs. Nerd and the Screwattack team appear in a future J&MM video. I know Mrs. Rolfe probably feels uncomfortable being in front of a camera. Also, there are travel expenses and scheduling concerns that are involved with Screwattack. But if James can convince his wife to appear in front of a camera, and arrangements can be made with Screwattack, that would make for some awesome videos! Would you guys at least consider these ideas for future videos? Thanks
May 11, 2015 at 7:35 am
nobody wants to watch James and his old lady in a screwattack orgy. what the fuck is wrong with you?
May 11, 2015 at 1:37 am
The one thing that is nice about holding back for block, is charge moves, hold back to block and then immediately have a punishment to their combo that you blocked.
May 11, 2015 at 9:58 pm
I think it’s easier to use under-pressure than a block-button, too.
May 11, 2015 at 2:10 am
lol you button mashers
May 11, 2015 at 3:17 am
Amon looks like the ninja guy from Double Dragon 3.
Is it just me or does the quality seem better than normal?
May 11, 2015 at 4:01 am
It’s 1am, I’m sick as a dog and this video actually made me feel a little better. Just thought I’d throw out a thanks for that
May 11, 2015 at 7:17 am
Have you thought of making a Behind the scenes or Making of J&M Mondays?
May 11, 2015 at 2:49 pm
That would be incredibly boring.
May 11, 2015 at 11:23 pm
highwing u do realize u just make yourself look like a fool and a jackass right, but im just wasting my time…
May 11, 2015 at 11:21 pm
at least a run through of what goes down, and some of the jokes that were cut or mishaps reel
May 11, 2015 at 11:51 pm
Exactly, that would be incredibly boring.
May 11, 2015 at 7:40 am
Jimmy went all super saiyan on that fat guy.
May 11, 2015 at 7:56 am
What happened to your right whisker james? Trimmer went a little to far?… XD
May 11, 2015 at 8:08 am
Please do Super Double Dragon on Super Nintendo for a J&MM! You guys have neglected this game’s existence and I know James has it since its listed in the games he owns
May 11, 2015 at 8:30 am
You guys should play Double Dragon Neon on the 360. It’s a return back to old-school DD. Please play it for a James & Mike Monday. Or maybe the Turtles in Time remake on the 360 (with 4 players though). I wanna see you all rip that game to shreds!
May 11, 2015 at 8:33 am
YES! More Neo Geo (AES or CD) games, please! 😀
May 11, 2015 at 12:09 pm
What Double Dragon film is this based on as it doesn’t look anything like that horrid American one. Is it like an anime one? Not surprised it is a fighting game as that is pretty much the Neo Geo’s thing. I’ve also always wanted an arcade cabinet too, just so expensive. I’d probably want that X-men one though where Magneto says, “Welcome to die!”
May 11, 2015 at 1:15 pm
When I was a kid I used to day dream about having a secret room with an some kind of secret entrance like an elevator in a tree. where I would have a bunch of arcade machines in there. That and winning one of those contests in egm where you win like every game console there is and a huge tv. I would I put that whole set up in there too.
May 11, 2015 at 11:27 pm
me and my best bud, used to dream about something similar, when we were children – a good escape to play some games or just hang, that’s most likely why James Rolfe has a man-cave/gameroom
May 11, 2015 at 3:20 pm
So a game based off a movie based off a game? Sounds like you should play Street Fighter The Movie The Game in a future J&MM!
May 11, 2015 at 4:37 pm
You were talking about arcade machines but you failed to mention NINJA BASEBALL BATMAN?!?!
May 12, 2015 at 1:10 am
That game is so awesome. Somehow more fun than the 9857848484 other beat ’em ups that play exactly the same.
May 11, 2015 at 6:36 pm
1. I thought James said he took Japanese in college!
2. I can’t believe they had a typo in the game! It’s Bimmy not Billy!
3. Amon looks like Shredder.
May 11, 2015 at 7:41 pm
Nick Swardson has a bit about his neighbor think he was making gay porn because they’d hear all the grunting and “take it, bitch” trash-talk when he’d play games with his friends.
May 11, 2015 at 8:46 pm
Mike, you can’t have a multi cart knock off in your game collection and dog on MAME cabinets. Kind of hypocritical
May 11, 2015 at 10:27 pm
Really nice editing on this one mike. good ep.
May 12, 2015 at 5:05 pm
pissing in the wind. lmao
May 12, 2015 at 6:33 pm
Bought that game for my Neo Geo CD after I played it in the Arcade in Spain in the 90s, when I was there on vacation. Actually it’s just a decent and mediocre fighting game. Rage of the Dragons is much more prefered by players. I stick with King of Fighters, because it’s the most awesome fighting series.
May 13, 2015 at 1:15 am
Bimmy and Jimmy Lee
May 13, 2015 at 1:20 am
Your Neo Geo has become self aware
May 13, 2015 at 1:23 am
Definitely if you get an arcade get a driving game or a gun game. Get a arcade that you can’t emulate like mike said.
May 13, 2015 at 3:18 am
Hooray for 100 episodes of J&M Mondays!
May 13, 2015 at 5:31 am
You should get the Tron table top game. If memory serves it has three games, and up to 4 players. Was a bar favorite of mine in the early 90s.
May 13, 2015 at 5:33 am
Nevermind, it’s just two players. But it doubles as a coffee table.
May 13, 2015 at 3:27 pm
lol,real men don’t need instructions 😉 home improvement?haha
May 14, 2015 at 12:12 am
Great gameplay and great commentary here. I never knew there was a Double DRagon fighting game like this. It’s pretty cool.
May 14, 2015 at 1:29 pm
actually u can do double jumps, when ur opponent is down and dizzy, u can press down-up on the d-pad + any attack button, to launch an attack that hits your opponent on the ground. Its a pitty the characters have thah little health bar, with a few consecutive hits u get dizzy and a combo of 4-5 hits u are done for, but in general its a good fighting game, or at least, 1000 times better that the crappy movie form the 90`s.
May 16, 2015 at 3:47 pm
I really like these videos! It just like having good company 🙂
June 5, 2015 at 6:09 am
There is the Sygma Supergun where you can play the all the jamma arcade games and its definitely not the same experience as if you play arcade games on recent platform.. plus u need to have a 29inch CRT screen to exactly reproduce the best quality of arcade gaming which is priceless. It’s some kind of investment but nothing bets it. I would never play arcade games other way than the real deal.
June 5, 2015 at 8:15 am
Where the fuck is my comment!
June 5, 2015 at 8:16 am
oh it’s here lol
July 1, 2015 at 12:56 pm
James, you should definitely buy a Turtles in Time arcade machine. Might cost you around $2,000, though.
July 14, 2015 at 4:45 am
This is one of those rare instances when the video game looks way better than the movie! Thanks for the video!
August 29, 2015 at 10:30 am
Neo Geo CD is known to reset when there are jerks in the controller port, since you guys had such limited length, that is probably why it reset on you
September 2, 2015 at 3:02 pm
Now you have to play Super Double Dragon for SNES
