Loved the show!!
But I didn’t miss out on the game thank fucking god.
You go nerd!!! Let’s kick ASSSSSS this holiday.

You slap that bitch, nerd!!

December 14, 2014 at 1:08 pm
I loved the show as a kid…but every single Ren and Stimpy game I’ve ever played has sucked monkey fuck.
December 14, 2014 at 1:13 pm
I think the next game is going to be a playstation 1 game! I wonder what it could be!
December 14, 2014 at 1:10 pm
Oh, Ive been meaning to ask, will we be able to buy those ornaments ?
December 14, 2014 at 4:15 pm
I actually made the cinemassacre and avgn logos. They are custom 3d prints and took a long time to make. They probably won’t be for sale anytime soon. You can check out the making of the cinemassacre logo on my youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uwGSlqCZWw&feature=youtu.be&list=UUoWxEhbRX32VOZESWLuXPfA

bad game you only get 2 minutes
December 14, 2014 at 1:40 pm
The Nerd is at his best in reviews like this one. No intrusive skits. Just an in-depth review of a game.
December 14, 2014 at 1:46 pm
What a shitty gift.
December 14, 2014 at 2:15 pm
Even though his Indegogo page never said it was free.
December 14, 2014 at 10:16 pm
Its fuckin $5 to watch the movie. Shut the fuck up about it already
December 15, 2014 at 5:44 am
Who the hell forced you to give a donation?
Jesus man, grow the fuck up. Pathetic little cunt. You must be a real pathetic loser in daily life.
December 15, 2014 at 6:15 pm
I’m sure James is laughing at all of the idiot donators as he eats caviar in the back of his Rolls Royce parked in front of his new mansion…totally “double dipped” the fuck out of everyone and living the high life now.
December 15, 2014 at 6:44 pm
Wow, I wish sarcasm conveyed itself better online…but yeah I think I remember you might have mentioned something about streaming the movie without paying for it in an earlier post or two…you seem like you may be upset about something or other but I wasn’t able to put it together with the severe dearth of information you have posted.
December 14, 2014 at 2:16 pm
I LOVED Ren and Stimpy growing up. It was a great show. (If a tad gross, and bizarre). But this game… looks boring. They did try to capture the spirit of R&S, which is a good thing, but overall, it doesn’t seem to be the type of game that would appeal to a broader audience.
December 14, 2014 at 2:19 pm
There’s a Ren and Stimpy game on the Genesis that is pretty good, Stimpy’s Invention
December 14, 2014 at 2:36 pm
Speaking of the movie, is there any chance that it’ll ever be on Netflix? I’ve already seen it a few times…unfortunately couldn’t make it to the theater release. But I think a Netflix addition could add to the Nerd’s audience.
December 14, 2014 at 5:47 pm
Has there been anybody in your near environment that told you the truth that you are a whiny little bitch?
I serious can’t find the words to say it nicely, so that’s why I’m beeing direct to you.
You have a dictionary? Try to look up the word ‘donation’. Maybe you learn something.
Don’t go hiding behind others who’ve donated. I think I’m pretty capable to talk for myself and I certainly would not like you to be my proxy.
You have any idea what goes into such a production? Stop your whining please. It’s childish and pathetic. That’s just some good advice for you.
December 15, 2014 at 5:11 am
Are you on drugs? I have absolutely no idea what you are saying???
“List all of the name or names …. that they want?”
Is this English? What? Undermine my argument? What the fuck are you talking about?
Dude, get laid or smoke a joint. You make absolutely no sense.
Look up donation. Your comparison with your car doesn’t fly.
December 15, 2014 at 5:45 am
It’s very clear to me you are way too retarded to grasp the concept of donation.
Bye bye kiddie.
December 14, 2014 at 2:44 pm
If I’m not mistaken, the sound effect for the shit splat on the title is from Secret of Evermore. When you kill one of the mosquitoes in the prehistoric area.
December 14, 2014 at 3:06 pm
It’s beginning to look a lot, like, Shitsmas.
December 14, 2014 at 3:43 pm
It’s the shittiest sight you see…
December 14, 2014 at 3:10 pm
Funny how Colt is still ranting on about this, many months later. Move on.
December 14, 2014 at 5:24 pm
I still don’t fully get what you are trying to say.
Do you want to keep up donations for the AVGN Movie?
Please explaine in more details.
December 15, 2014 at 8:15 am
But I think you hate the movie…?
I remember i saw a commercial for one of these, and i thought, how do you make a video game of Ren and Stimpy?
December 14, 2014 at 4:32 pm
I love the way the music is used in these new Christmas episodes. The little cue at 3:35 for the time limit is really effective. It would be great if future AVGN episodes used more custom music.
December 14, 2014 at 5:05 pm
It feels like these were all filmed at once. I wonder if it will just be that one, same stationary camera angle for all 12 episodes?
December 14, 2014 at 5:50 pm
Looks like this game was not tested before being released. Was a big fan of this show back in the 90’s too.
December 14, 2014 at 7:03 pm
James: In your opening comments you mention Larry of the 3 Stooges. The reason for this is because the voice actor for Stimpy, Billy West, used his old Larry Fine voice for Stimpy’s voice. He did that for years on the Howard Stern show and other radio shows before he did Ren & Stimpy. If you listen to old episodes of Howard Stern, you can hear Billy West do ALL the voices he would eventually use on cartoons like Ren & Stimpy and Futurama.
December 14, 2014 at 7:34 pm
I watched the show with my dad a bunch as a kid, the games on the other hand were not as good. Great review James!!!
December 14, 2014 at 7:51 pm
I remember watching the show many years ago. It was really wacky! Happy Happy Joy Joy! Happy Happy Joy Joy!
December 14, 2014 at 9:30 pm
Really happy to have 12 days full of shit, full of good quality and humor. I like that the videos are getting longer too. Hoping to have it go as far as 7-8 minutes for the bigger presents.
Only one little gripe with it: Why are they all labeled as separate episodes? I’m not complaining too much though, I love the idea here and I love seeing more Nerd coming out. Just sharing one little gripe.
Otherwise, they’re great videos. Though how you could survive 12 days of reviewing shit is beyond me.
December 14, 2014 at 9:54 pm
Well four down now just waiting fuckup five and shitty ass six.
December 15, 2014 at 12:56 am
I had Ren & Stimpy Time Warp and played it with a friend when I was younger. It is much easier to beat enemies like the bulldog when playing 2-player mode. One player can grab the other player and swing them at enemies to deal more damage quickly and defeat them more easily
December 15, 2014 at 1:07 am
Hey Mike, there’s something wrong with the comments page. Sometimes when I try to post a comment it says it went through, but my comment doesn’t show. And when I try to repost it, it won’t let me. :T Any idea why?
Besides from my struggle with the comments, great video! I’m loving this 12 days of shitmsmas. Definitely making my crappy holidays better lol.
December 15, 2014 at 8:42 am
Stop being a bitch about it, it was clear from the beginning that it would cost money to watch the movie.
December 15, 2014 at 3:30 pm
Nice video. Does someone here knows which song is being used as the theme for this year xmas videos?
I know its a christmas song, but which one?
December 15, 2014 at 7:17 pm
Wow, that game looks ridiculously awful and unfair. What kind of eeediots made this game?! 😀
December 16, 2014 at 7:05 am
It could have been such a good game. Bet the publisher had a strict rushed deadline.
December 18, 2014 at 12:52 pm
One of those games I wish I had never rented for the same reason given in the taggin’ dragon video.
December 22, 2014 at 5:17 pm
This game was so awful that I actually took it back to the store and asked for a refund. The store did not do returns on electronics or games, but the guy managing the counter actually gave me store credit, claiming that he too had played it and understood that it was a rip-off. I wound up going home with Donkey Kong Country, a wholly satisfying game.
May 21, 2016 at 11:02 pm
I never like Ren & Stimpy in my whole life.
July 7, 2016 at 7:20 pm
Yes! I remember this game! It was part of my childhood.. My bro would always rent it from the video store, and we got stuck on that fire house part.
