Oh yeah.. Getting closer! Soon…all the VFX will be done and we will only have to worry about sound shit! I can’t fucking wait! I hope that sound doesn’t take as long as video…but knowing the breadth and scope of this film, it’ll probably be just as much of a headache… Still though, I can’t fucking wait for the movie!!

Looks like 3 more down. I cannot wait to see the finished product. I’ll drink to your being able to finally get some rest on the day you announce it!

  • April 22, 2014 at 1:42 am

Good to see progress is still being made. 3 pieces of paper down a week doesn’t seem like much from my end but I bet it’s ton of work on your end. I admire you very much sir. Keep up the hard work!!!

In weeks to come, you should put the number of remaining slips at the bottom of the pic. ‘Cause I think we’re all counting them anyway.

I’m really looking forward to this film.

Ever since a friend e-mailed me a link to a You Tube video with some nerdy kid talking about a crappy Nintedno game called Castlevania II many years ago, to the slow rise of not just The Nerd but James a a film-maker and producer. To when I accidentally stumbled on Cinemasacre.com and “found” an amazing library of diverse free entertainment from documentaries, short films and reviews that I have avidly watched for years.
This was when I discovered this nerd actually has a lot of talent and knows his stuff.

Still when James said he was making a film of The Nerd. I was not that interested. Mainly as by this time many internet celebs were already making their own “films”.
So I thought this Nerd film would be something done in a few weeks/months, put up on the site and would be forgotten about like the many other “films” that are nothing but extended sketches made by other internet reviewers.

But this film has gone a VERY different direction to how I thought it would.
This is a real and proper film. This is not some quickly put together excuse of a “film”…this is a real film made by someone with not only a passion, but also a real talent for film-making.

I’m going to raise a glass of whiskey and smoke a cigar to you James and everyone that has helped create and build this site and company.
From seeing that Castlevainia II vid to today, watching you grow as a film-maker and entertainer has been a long road…but a great journey.

Hopefully, in the none to distant future. I can sit down in a theatre to watch a film and I’ll be greeted with the Cinemassacre Productions logo.

Thank you James for the many, many hours of entertainment you and your team had brought over the years.
