Freaking sweet, many gratz to you James!

By the way, any chances we can get a Soltice (NES) James and Mike Mondays? That would be insane 😀

Congratulations James. I think you may the first “internet celebrity” to get an article in a respected newspaper.

    • April 12, 2014 at 9:11 am

james is #1 in his industry. there are too many internet celebs and gaming won’t get the exposure that others do because gaming is a subculture of society, still ostracized as somewhat nerdy. if anything, james should be an example of a person who took his dreams to connect with his fans and made it all into a reality.

James congrats on all your success sir, do keep it up. As someone who donated to this epic movie, please do everything in your power to put this movie on the big screen here in Jacksonville Florida. I know there will be a packed theatre here between my friends and I.

What a story. Sometimes a person just has to make their dream happen themselves. Well done. I think some day we’ll be seeing a James Rolfe film spread across every theater in the country.

  • April 10, 2014 at 9:19 am

Sweet article…. it said that you are planning a limited theater release, would it be possible for you to do what Paranormal Activity did and have a way the fans can request it at our local theater?

Hey that’s right! Now you’re bringing YOUR monsters tto the big screen. Monsters that someone, somewhere would love to someday see they battle Godzilla, King Kong or the Frankenstein creature.

That’s great! Any exposure is good exposure. I actually started a blog just yesterday, and I’m finding that exposure is hard to build. Of course, you’ve already built up your fanbase to the point where funding a movie on Indiegogo is no problem, but you’ve been at it for a good decade now. Keep up the good work James. Oh, by the way, you can find my blog here: http://landofgaming.net

The article ends with “…the Nerd is finally ready for his close-up.”
Please, for the love of all that is holy, please do not tell me this means what I think it means, man?

James grew up in a New Jersey suburb of Philadelphia? Did I read that right? Either I’m drunk, or this reporter definitely has issues with geography. And I’m pretty sure that I’m not drunk! 🙂 Other than that, great article! You’re bound to get noticed, somehow!

This article also implied that James started the nerd series in his basement but it really was his bedroom at his parents house as a joke. I’m not complaining. Great article!
