Mark Borchardt Halloween 2006

James / October 30th, 2013

If you’re a fan of American Movie, you can’t miss this! This was a live TV broadcast from 2006. Mark Borchardt and Mike Schank hosted Night of the Living Dead (1968) and made an original improvised horror film on the spot, live from Wisconsin 10/31/2006. I haven’t seen it anywhere since, so I’m very lucky to have had a VCR handy that night.

Haha this is great. Great seeing Mike recreate his scream. I wonder how Mark and his family are doing nowadays. I’d like to think he got his shit together, but then again probably not.

I found their improvised commentary! Here’s the link to the first of their 3-part commentary! https://archive.org/details/g4tv.com-video13639

BTW, if you’re wondering why I’m using archive.org instead of g4tv.com is simply b/c G4TV has lost it’s viewers over the past year and it (along with it’s website and its awesome video archive) may get shut down permanently next January.

I remember this in Halloween of ’06. This was the first time I saw of NOTLD and heard about it. Also didn’t they do a zombie counter during the show I remembered something like that happening.

    “I AM NOT A CROOK!”
    Man, that was awesome.
I wonder what’s going on with “Northwestern” or “Scare Me” these days? Hmm…
