    First?

    • September 17, 2013 at 9:41 pm

Why does some retard have to post “first” on every fucking video. Literally NO ONE gives a shit if you happen to post a comment before anyone else. Especially because that comment was useless and just a waste of time – much like you most likely are.

      • September 17, 2013 at 9:45 pm

You gave enough of a shit to post your rant.

      • September 18, 2013 at 2:21 am

no shit eh? Dalton now hes gonna fire back with FUCK YOU or try to pick a fight

Honestly, because its hilarious to watch idiots like you cry because you got beat like a little bitch. lets see you refresh this site hundreds of times a day just hoping for a new video and trying to beat out everyone doing the same. lets see you do it Knuckles316, if that is your real name. At least I use mine, and if it bothers you so much, lets see you do it so you can take up the spot with something SOOOOO

Knuckles316; to answer your question: the whole “first” thing is some game kids came up with in order to brag about how many “First”s they got. It’s an achievement for kids who have nothing to offer and no real world experience so they only have this to brag about on the school yard. I say just let them have it and ignore it. When they’re older they’ll learn what real accomplishments are and grow out of it and look back and laugh. Remember; this the first generation where kids can use the internet and social media so…kids will be kids.

any idea when we can expect a release for psn or 3ds eshop? I don’t even know what steam is. Also, loved seeing you at retro con, it was really cool seeing you again. Cant wait for the game!

    • September 17, 2013 at 7:32 pm

I must strenuously second this 3DS suggestion. This might require a petition.

    • September 18, 2013 at 5:05 pm

Steam is a PC games platform (think of PSN or XBLA but for Windows, Mac, and Linux) which was founded by Valve, creators of the Half Life and Left 4 Dead games.

Thanks for putting up the HumbleStore link! Somehow I was unable to order via Steam because of some strange error. Can’t wait for the game! 🙂

Now I’m reading that it will eventually be released on XBlive,PSN, etc in 2014. I may just hold out until then or a MAC version, which ever comes first.

  • September 17, 2013 at 2:15 pm

    Awesome! Can’t wait!

To be honest from what I’ve seen, the game looks pretty average “retro” style game. Just have a feeling that the avgn theme is the only thing that carries it.

Steam not that Cowafucking price of dog shit (I say that mostly I lost over $100 do to their DRM and I also hate DRM). Steam needs to die. Game makers back to thing’s like DVD-ROM checks I can handle that.

    • Ahmet Ay

      September 18, 2013 at 7:20 pm

Did you get your account banned for cheating or other kinds of abuse? Also get your head out of your ass, Steam is one of the least intrusive DRM systems out there. No company will go back to fucking DVD checks, that shit was a decade ago and it didn’t work even back then anyway. If anything they will go always fucking online, which is something EA and Ubisoft already does.

Ehm? Did any girls play this? No offense but I only see prototype nerds here that seem to have escaped microsoft’s programming dungeon’s.

  • September 20, 2013 at 3:08 pm

I saw that you guys released the game early So I went on Steam and purchased it TODAY! I can’t wait to spend all weekend playing this game. Thank you guys so much for making a game like this. I love when people try to revive the good old style of retro games.

  • September 20, 2013 at 5:46 pm

Thank you so much for making this game. Although I love all the “Nerdisms” but even taking those out of the discussion, the game is a wonderfully put together blast to the past… but at the same time being visually wonderful. Controls are spot on and the game is that kind of challenging that any true retro fan will appreciate. Also the soundtrack if effin SWEET. I’ve only been playing it for a few hours and I’m already a huge fan. Bravo! It was money well spent no doubt.

    amazing game

  • The Shamster

    September 22, 2013 at 4:57 am

This game is hard as balls, even on easy difficulty.

Me sure to find Kyle, you’ll need him to defeat the final boss, otherwise expect to spend 2 hours+ dying over and over and finding yourself transforming into the nerd.

The first time I played this game, I couldn’t find the nerds friends, so I played through the entire game as the nerd alone…and BOY was it HARD!!!!!!!

This game is great. When I first heard about it I was a bit skeptical thinking it would just be some generic side scroller using the nerd as a cash-in gimmick but I can gladly say I was wrong. You can tell that the people who made it were really passionate about creating a challenging experience and thought out every last detail of each level.

Now I’m wondering if James is planning to do an AVGN episode about this game. It would really make for an interesting episode and I think the game devs would love to see that as well. If not, a James and Mike play would be nice too, but I still think the nerd playing his own game is a golden opportunity missed if he decides not to do it.
